I requested this company since I saw they had great reviews through my home warranty. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience with them after they came by. They saw that I had a coil leak and it needed to be replaced. That was 8 AM yesterday morning by that night I called them to see if they did their report 9 hours later and they said they hadn't done it yet. They gave excuses about needing to find measurements of the coil. Mind you it's 117° here in Arizona and to be without air is very hard so I would've expected them to send in their report as soon as possible. I called them the next day which she said she was gonna have the report in by. She said oh I don't even have a work order for your job. I told Kiki to look again and she had to get her teammate to help her find it as she said, it wasn't in the active pile. After a few hours, I called First American as they still haven't gotten a report from them. First American escalated it and finally got a report from them unfortunately now they don't want to do the work or they can't do it in a timely manner so now I'm being referred to another company. Now if they couldn't fix this in a timely manner. Why not say so when you diagnose the issue? Meanwhile, my Elderly family and Child have been suffering. I definitely do not recommend this company! Shame on them! The reply below is false. This had nothing to do with First American this had to do with your company and your inept service. You guys dropped the ball like three occasions. The employees were not nice and did not communicate well, and they did not provide accurate pricing. I need to take a minute and praise a company like Aristotle Air. As we know, this summer has been brutal. Our air stopped working last night. Having a little knowledge of how these systems work, I had a fairly good idea of what the issue might be. I contacted multiple "reputable" companies, and none were responsive or reasonable. I called Aristotle (Victor), and he listened to what I had to say. He immediately gave me a time frame on when he would be over, and he quickly resolved the issue. Aristotle Air. is very unprofessional, unreliable and lacks of basic customer service skills especially in their key players like their office manager. Rudeness is their motto and they have no appreciation for consumer loyalty or care for customer satisfaction. They installed 2 new AC systems in 2 different properties for me yet any maintenance or repair appointments are endlessly rescheduled due to constant excuses of them being understaffed and shorthanded. They make you wait 6+ weeks for service and they won't even give you a 24 hours courtesy cancelation notice, everything is always last minute so you never can plan properly with them. I have been using Aristotle Air Conditioning & Heating for over 10 years and have until now, been a happy client. They even work on my rental properties. Today, it changed. The tech came out and replaced one of our HVAC Capacitors. He was about to leave but then the office called him and said to "collect payment right away from this client". The tech came back, rang the doorbell, and said that he couldn't leave until he collected payment from me. First, I have always paid my bills. Never have I not paid my bills and on time. Having a tech stand right there and say he can't leave until he collects payment was completely different than how I have done business with this company in the past. I have always received an invoice from Aristotle via email and then paid it. Both myself and the tech found this process strange, awkward, and not normal. It felt like I was a bad customer and they notated something in my account that I was an "untrustworthy" customer. Not a nice way to treat your life long clients. read more

Had the pleasure of working with Victor C. to receive an estimate; their prices are quite competitive, especially versus the competition with the expensive advertising. Several options were offered, without pressure. I ended up going with a more expensive unit due to the results of my own research on the ROI between them. Once I decided how which unit I wanted and payment arrangements (they do offer financing options), they had me scheduled for the same week. Arrived on-time the day of installation, with a call 20-30 min prior to arrival. While my installation may have been on the easier side, they were done in a short amount of time, with the crane for removal/installation arriving like clock work. Installers were friendly and professional, even wearing Covid-era masks when entering. Worked with me to get my Nest set up for the new unit, and unbeknownst to me, made a small dirt smudge on the wall. He was quick to run to his truck when finished to grab cleaner to remove the barely noticeable smudge. Will be recommending Aristotle Air to everyone whom I come across looking for HVAC service! Avoid the guys with the big commercials and advertising at all cost! Their quotes were 2x that of Aristotle Air, and I have a suspicions their maintenance visits led directly to me needing a new unit. read more

Replaced my 21 year old Air and Heating unit after getting an estimate from Victor. Estimate was very reasonable considering I had another company's estimate that was much higher, requiring more seers than I needed based upon the square footage Victor furnished a written estimate and explained the installation and details of the unit. Installers were here promptly at the scheduled time, following the CDC guidelines, wearing masks and protective gear. They protected my carpet with a cover and cleaned up, after the installation. Luis a courteous and friendly technician explained the operation of the thermostat and all the equipment that was installed. This company has been maintaining my HVAC units for many years and I will continue to use them, for my semi annual checkup. read more

Richard came out in January to give me a price on replacing an old unit *sure to fail during the summer* - 2months later I made the decision to replace the unit NOW instead of waiting for an unwanted surprise in July] Richard sent a crew that did and EXCELLENT job - neet, clean (picked up all old material and packaging) and verified the system worked as promised. We have been using the new system for 5 weeks now and it is great in this 99 degree heat...and know it will keep up in the 119 degree heat in July I will definitely use this company again...THNKS! read more

First of all, the threats, as you call them, that I made BEFORE you decided to return over $4,000 to my 91 year old father for work you never did, were not really threats at all, they were facts, and that was we would file a lawsuit if you did not return that money to my dad, especially after your office mgr Janna made it clear that he would NOT be getting his money back, at least she said that to me. Why don't you post that on our responses? Why don't you give facts and say what "threats" you are referring to since you claim to have that on voice mail? What "threats" did I make? The suing you are the only so called by you "threats" that I made. Last time I checked, it is not illegal to threaten a lawsuit. Once that check was hand-delivered to dad, I never contacted your company or your Janna again. She then would not stop texting me on my personal cell number 24-hours + later, after you delivered the check to my dad, and janna made several frightening threats to me. She would not stop there. She decided to get my employer involved, which was a really big mistake on her part. My employer had nothing at all to do with this nightmare you have put my dad and I in. She then continued on her destructive journey when I blocked her from my phone, and called the Mesa Police stating that I was harassing her, which is a HUGE LIE. You talk about a liar and call me someone who mistakes facts, not me, but take a look at her! When that wasn't enough for your janna, she then logged into my employers Facebook account and wrote a bashing review against our firm, something she had never experienced, which is our firm. She put my first and last name in that review as the paralegal and called me a drunk (I don't drink) so she better be able to back-up that statement she posted in court, and she said other horrible things on that Facebook review about me and the firm. Another big mistake she made. She claims I made 50 + calls to her, so she better be able to back that up in court, which is such a lie (I made 3 or 4 calls to the office and/or the business cell she gave me when no one would return my dads call or mine (and you advertise being available 24/hrs day - 7 days/week. What a lie. Look at the other reviews of others that could never reach anyone. janna is doing all of this in response to your horrible treatment of a 91 yr old man, my father, and the review I posted. If you are supposed to be available 24-hrs every day, then why did no one call my dad back or me, until the lawsuit threats were made? This is not 24 hours. My air went out at 7 pm I started calling then, left a message and called all night! Of all weeks to not answer the phone being our contracted AC company and being advertised as 24/7 you'd think they'd at least answer the phone. I didn't get a return phone call until someone woke up and called at 8:30 and was given a 4 hour window and the excuse that they were "booked" all night, still they should answer the phone if you advertise as 24/7 and it's emergency conditions. I have a really good reason to believe they were not booked all night and the 4 hour window 11-3 even though they knew I had very small children and we had been in these conditions all night, showed up at right after 3. The lady was very nice on the phone and I will use them because of our contract with them, but I will not recommend them after that experience!! read more

Luis came to our residence within 4 hours of placing the call. His concern was getting the AC back to operational ASAP. He wasted no time in isolating the problem. He entered both attics and was able to locate a short in the wire between the air handler and the compressor. Once he identified where the short was, he repaired it. After the repair was complete, he made certain the unit was operating properly and the house was cooling. Nobody wants to call for an AC repair. Most of us have little knowledge of what all those parts are doing and more importantly, how much they cost. Luis explained everything in terms I could understand. Called company multiple times they always say my filters are dirty when they are changed out every 1st if the month. Air flow is terrible still! Brian is a decent guy has usually gets it to finally cool didn't come for the last service call and a month and a half later I get a email from my landlord saying they said was house is trashed and carpets are ruined which isn't true had my carpets professionally cleaned 3 days before he came. A couple of weeks ago, my a/c stopped cooling. I called 4 places to have a tech come take a look at it. Aristotle Air was the first to respond. Long story short, I received excellent customer service from them through the following week. I needed an expensive part replaced due to a leak, but due to age of my unit, I decided to just replace the entire unit instead of just the part. They gave me three options (replacement part, and 2 options for new units). I called around to ensure I was getting a fair price, to which I was told I was getting "a very fair price". I called Aristotle Air to give the thumbs up and one and a half days later, the new unit was installed. Over the week leading up to discovering the leak, they came to my house four times to add coolant at no extra charge. Even on weekends and at 9:00 at night! Each tech was polite and professional. No one enjoys having to replace their a/c unit, but dealing with Aristotle I felt I was receiving excellent, honest, and prompt customer service at all times. The repairman, Brian, was at my house the following morning and spent the better part of the day working on my AC unit. When he realized that I needed a new fan motor, he explained the options in plain English so that I could make an informed and economical decision. He never attempted to upsell me or exploit my ignorance about the topic. He and his dispatcher were never in a hurry, even though I know he had other appointments that day. Within 30 minutes they called me back and let me know a technician could actual come the same day. I was so happy with the service. My ac went out last night and I called around 8 pm and left a message (not expecting a call back until morning) and received a call back around 9:30 pm stating they could be out today from 1-3 pm. I used this company for years for my semi-annual service. However, this year I was extremely disappointed. I paid $80 for each system to be checked. They did not notice the leak in the upstairs AC. When the home inspection was done a few days later, they found the temperature to be incorrect. It took several calls and messages to get to someone to even talk to me. I was told several times that they would call me right back. When I finally spoke to someone 5 days later, I was told that there were a lot of AC issues. I guess mine wasn't? I asked for a specific appointment but I was told that when someone was in the area, they would check. The following Friday came and someone was finally available late in the day. At that point, the buyer wanted all receipts of repair and I had to have someone else to check it (it was leaking freon). I was never offered a refund of the $80 for the second system that they clearly did not service correctly. I should have been offered a refund. I can guarantee I will not use this company again.
