AMAZING SERVICE!
My…read moreAC died over the weekend and I was beside myself: 89 degrees in the house and no air moving, which, with COPD, was almost impossible for me to tolerate.
I called multiple people listed on Yelp, then went to google and found this company which was highly recommended. Al, its owner, was all over the problem instantly and was here first thing in the morning.
In a time when "personal service" and "taking pride in one's work" seems to have fallen by the wayside, Al and his company restored its very important meaning, and, in so doing, gained my trust, admiration and loyalty forever.
Turns out the very very old AC and heating system were frozen to their bones: just big blocks of ice. He managed to get the AC working so it would work overnight (and spent 5 hours here doing it AND called in another worker to bring him some things he needed), and we made plans to replace the entire HVAC system yesterday, Monday.
I was able to have cool air through the night and yesterday his technicians (who were polite, respectful and worked non-stop) spent the entire day in the horrible heat working on my outside system and the one in my attic. Even a crane arrived ON TIME to lift the systems off the roof. On top of it, Al was in constant contact to check on how it was going, and, when the techs were done, came over to check everything.
He easily spent an hour here checking all the work, then RE-checking all the work and even returned at 7 at night, when the thermostat started to rise again. He rechecked that, recalibrated it, and my house has been exceedingly cool since.
Around 10:00 p.m., he texted to make sure everything was still working and the house was cooling: an "above and beyond" gesture to be sure.
This is not a "little thing." This is a HUGE thing. This is a business run by a man who cares if his customers are melting in the heat, who goes, not nine yards, but fifty, to ensure everything is working, not only to THEIR satisfaction, but to his, as an HVAC specialist.
His kindness, promptness, professionalism, visible care and concern, sweetness to my golden retriever, diagnostics, very reasonable COSTS for all that had to be replaced, and follow through were beyond superior, and far beyond appreciated.
I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone because, particularly in this day and age when people generally do the minimum while running their businesses, Al exceeded the "maximum," and for this, and for all he did, I am forever grateful.
