There was no one but us in the place tonight but the food was amazing. The garden salad was presented with what looked to be a lot of onion but wasn't really. The onion was extremely mild and didn't over power the taste of the dressing. The amount of dressing was just perfect. When I finished the salad, there wasn't a lot of dressing in the bowl. The empanadas were small but flavorful.The crust was flaky and just right. We tried the beef, the chicken, the ham and cheese, the humita and the vegetarian. My favorite was the ham and cheese but each was very good. Some of the best empanadas I've ever had. No excess fluid so there was no liquid running down my hands. They had the right amount of filling so one could eat them without spilling all over. If Clearfield was closer to my home, I'd be there every couple of weeks. I was told this was the place to go for empanadas. I was skeptical about trying this place from the outside appearance. The inside was a little bit nicer with new tables and chairs in the dining area. We decided to buy a dozen empanadas to go. Prices are very reasonable and they ever wrote down e cooking instructions on the box for us. After following the instructions they came out great! For starters I have never tried any official Argentinian food so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the cuisine, however the food is good and the owner is awesome. First experience eating Argentine food for my husband and I. We loved it! We ordered a mix of empanadas, a pepperoni pizza and a House pizza. The empanada crust was delicious and the fillings were unique and tasty. The pizzas were amazing! I've had multiple types of pizza; this pizza stands alone. The seasonings were well balanced so that each bite was a welcomed treat. The cheese was perfectly balanced and the crust was in its own category. Absolutely delicious. Next time we're in Utah we WILL return; I want to try more of the menu. We were relaxed in the "come as you are" interior and enjoyed great conversation as our meals were hand crafted. I was very skeptical to try this restaurant out when I saw the outside of it. It doesn't have a very amazing atmosphere, although it does have a fun little shop inside. The restaurant owner gave us free appetizers, which were incredible! He kept bringing fresh hot bread, and the chicken milanese that I ordered was DELICIOUS. This place serves some of the best food I have ever had. The service is slower, but for how fresh the food was I still have to give it 4 stars. Great place to get some amazing food! read more

From reading other's posts, we knew it'd take a while to get our food after we ordered, but my wife's entree came at least 10 minutes before they brought mine out. Service was pretty poor. New favorite place! I was born in chile and pretty much raised in Argentina so it has always been a struggle to find true authentic Argentinian food here in Utah but this place did it! Not only was the food delicious but the service was great. I feel much better eating here supporting a family business rather than a big chain restaurant. They also have a large selection of Argentinian sweets, mate and mate accessories. We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There were only a few people there. They serve their drinks, I think they called it something like, self-service style. If you want water they bring you a large bottle of water. If you want soda they bring you a 2 liter bottle and you pour it yourself. No ice. I did not like this. I want to be able to order just a glass of soda, not a whole giant bottle. I ordered a selection of empanadas and my husband ordered the House Asado (BBQ plate). The empanadas were freshly made and very good! I like some better than others but they were good -- they had a nice flaky crust. My husband liked the plate he got with the selection of different meats. Not BBQ with BBQ sauce just grilled meat but had good flavor. It came with fries which were terrible! Just like they bought a bag of frozen fries at the grocery store and baked them -- not even restaurant quality. We also ordered a side of the Russian potato salad. It was okay. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. We didn't feel like we had to wait an inordinate amount of time. The service was not great. After you ordered, if you wanted anything you were probably going to have to flag someone down. We want to go back to try their pizza since they have won some local awards for it. While there were some areas they could work on, the food was good. read more

Hard to find but definitely worth it. Squished between an auto shop and paint store, don't let the lack of parking in front deter you. The owner was both host, cook, and server. He had an artistic flair and clearly loves to cook, as shown in the beautiful presentations. I tried the beef tongue and was impressed; tender and flavorful, with lovely warm bread. Best Argentine empanadas I've had at a restaurant in Utah, and at a great price ($1.50 each as of this date). They also have live music on occasion; Jean Pierre performed for several hours on the night I went, and he was very impressive. I went back here a second time with friends and am really glad I did. While the food is deserving of more than three stars the service seriously brings the rating down. While the staff is friendly and reasonably attentive when you get served, expect an exceptionally long wait time for service, regardless of how many people are there. Service aside, the food is great. The bread they make here is absolutely delicious and all of the empanadas I've had were excellent (we ordered more to take home). The beef tongue appetizer is very tasty in the vinaigrette but I'd recommend making a sandwich out of the bread that is served, as it can be a tad overpowering without. If you have time to kill with a few friends and don't mind sitting around chit chatting a while this place is definitely worth a shot. Just a comment on some of the previous reviews. Our culture is so different from Argentine culture. There's is a lot like Italy or France. So before you go, here are some things that you will see and it is all real Argentina. I know since I spent time as a missionary in Argentina. The relaxed nature of the staff. Fast food is not their style so if your in a hurry hit Mickey Ds. If you like authentic Argentine food expect to take time and enjoy it along with the atmosphere and people. Notice the unrelated mixture of the items on the shelves. A giant beaded necklace next to a miniature Argentine flag and Yerba Mate. Water given to you in a bottle you pour yourself, no ice, soda from a can ect. Hate it or love it this is how life is in Argentina. I encourage you to take a trip to Argentina with out leaving the area just by going and eating at Argentine Corner. If you like green tea then try Mate. read more

A steak house, pasta house, pizzeria, and authentic argentine foods all rolled into one. This place has something for everyone. I go with all my buddies and they will eat everything from the bbq meats and sausages to the empanadas (meat and vegetable pockets... delish!) I stick with the Milanesas myself. They have this sauce there that they put on the meat which is unmatched. Last time I was there they were selling the sauce to go. I have been there enough times with enough people to be able to try just about everything. If you like homemade tastes it is all fresh. The location is tricky to find tucked away in the parking lot of Kwal Paint. The ambiance is what you would expect, a little hole in the wall restaurant that has much more room once you get in.
