Stay away!!!!! I didn't pick this place, we booked our trip through European Destinations and it was picked for us. This was by far the worst of the 3 hotels we had stayed in along the trip. When we told the taxi driver where we were staying when we got in from the airport, he just glared at us. Bad sign. When we pulled up to the front, it didn't look so bad, the lobby was nice and clean. When we stepped into our room, I thought I was in a bad dream. The carpets were dirty and stained, the beds had the old style bedspread on them, there was no lock box in the room, and then, nightfall. The back of the hotel faces a residential area. Well one of the houses there is a hound dog, and all he does ALL night is bark. Bark bark bark bark. I wanted to jump out of the window at some point and strangle the owners. Free Wifi, but good luck staying connected. Bring an extra converter, they don't have any at the desk, I was told to buy one out of the vending machine (which wasn't a US converter).
This place is no where near downtown, and it took forever to get a cab. Oh the cabs, the money I spent going twice a day downtown, I'm pretty sure I could've bought a car. Every cab driver would tell us what a horrible neighborhood this was, they dubbed it "the wolf pack" and the "knife and gun club". Awesome. One late night I made the mistake of getting into a cab that didn't take debit cards, he was kind enough to drive me to the supermarket next to the hotel to an ATM, I was never so scared in my life (except for the time I went to get food in the middle of the night in Memphis, that's another story).
