1. Room was very warm in temperature all night. Front desk explained all rooms are kept at same temperature (never heard this before). If you enjoy 75-78 degrees, you would enjoy this overnight experience. 2. Bed was a double in a room sizable to fit a King. 3. Bed slid forward when watching tv. Mattress is cheap and light in weight. 4. No washcloths. 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels given. 5. Local resident outside informed us to be very careful when walking around property. Homeless beg for $ all day steps outside property. 6. 14 minute drive from airport. Typically airport hotels are connected or few minutes from rental car drop. Hotel bar was huge. Restaurant was huge offering many menu items. Clean like most Hilton properties. 1st Hilton review. 63 stays in 2024 and 45 stays currently in 2025. Fortunate to be a Diamond member. With frequent complementary shuttle service to the Dublin International Airport, the Hilton Dublin Airport is a convenient and comfortable place to stay. We stayed at the Hilton Dublin for the majority of time while being in Ireland, however the last night we moved to the Hilton Dublin Airport because we had a very early flight the next day and wanted to be closer to the Airport and glad we did. To each member of the hotel staff we encountered were genuinely hospitable and accommodating. Our room was upgraded to a king room with two single sofa beds which was quite large, very clean and well appointed. The king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also spacious and had everything we needed to make for great stay. Also within walking distance to the hotel is a shopping mall with options to eat if you prefer not to dine in the hotel itself, but we did and enjoyed our dinner both in service and menu options. If you need to be in close proximity to the Dublin Airport then consider staying at the Hilton Dublin Airport, I know I am glad we did! read more

This place is maybe the weirdest Hilton I've ever stayed. We checked in and were informed we could order 24 hour room service. The bar was also open. We grabbed a Guinness in the bar (Ireland after all). It was great. We ordered the room service which they struggled mightily to figure out how it worked. We started as carry out for the food which transitioned to no food here but yes drinks and the food would be carried from bar area up to rooms. Really weird. I'll have Guinness for dinner while my kids eat their food upstairs (delivered from 20 feet from where I enjoy my beer). read more

Nice hotel close to Dublin airport. Used the Hilton app to check-in the day before. Corner unit 426 had a nice city view and the room was quite large. Bathroom had everything that's needed. Fitness center had plenty of equipment and machines, but had a funny smell. Room service was fast. Nice peaceful night of sleep and didn't hear any traffic noise or other neighboring rooms. Checkout was easy and the bill was accurate. Took advantage of the airport shuttle service that starts at 5 am and runs every 40 minutes. read more

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Hilton Dublin Airport in terms of the rooms, restaurant and proximity to the airport...until our luggage was stolen out of the back of the hotel's airport shuttle bus at 6:15am...before it ever left the hotel property. This was in January 2023. My elderly mother and I were returning to the USA after burying my father in Galway. Various memento's, including my father's GAA hurling medals, pictures, condolence notes, and the guest book from the wake were in our carry-on bag that was in the back of the bus. We would later find out from CCTV, that our bags were stolen before we ever left the hotel. We were beyond distraught. We filed a police report, posted flyers offering a reward, and I even went on the Joe Duffy radio show appealing for any information on the stolen items. All, to no avail. In retrospect, it was clear that the exterior of the hotel was poory lit, actually, there was virtually no lighting and the shuttle bus driver was chatting with the front desk meaning that the bus was unmonitored. We put the luggage in the back of the bus, ourselved. We came to terms with the fact that there was nothing we could do to replace some of our items but we still have not come to terms with the lack of concern, interest and care demonstrated by the Hilton Dublin Hotel. We travel to Ireland every summer and we will only stay at the Radisson Blu Dublin Airport never again at the Hilton Dublin Airport. It is a convenient hotel to stage close to the airport because they provide a shuttle. Otherwise it is a dated facility without basics like a snack shop. The restaurant/bar is not good- the food quality was poor, the tables were missing condiments, and the service was slow. read more

If air conditioning is a requirement to your travels, don't stay here. Staff was helpful with trying to accommodate, hence why the 2 stars rather than just 1 star, but it seems like this is a running problem (checked past reviews). We had stayed over the New Years holiday, so it was chilly outside anyways. The room's ambient temperature was 72 degrees Fahrenheit (22-ish Celsius). The windows do not open. 72 is a way too warm for us, so we turned on the air conditioning. We let it run for a few hours while we were out at dinner, and when we came back, the room had warmed up to 76 degrees and it was very humid. What the heck. We thought it might be a bad system in the room, so staff changed us to another room on the same floor. The same thing happened again. It took forever for the room's temperature to get back down to 72. We had a miserable stay and a restless night. read more

This hotel is a great price considering the bus stop is a very short walk, they have parking for $7.50 and airport transportation for 3 Euros. All those amenities are excellent. The parking has an elevator that comes right up into the hotel. The elevators are very quiet and fast. The transportation - bus - is nice and clean and on time. The rooms were nice, I think the bed was too hard but when I spoke to the front desk about it a gentleman had a more comfy pad put on it for our return trip (we stayed twice during 2 week stay). Not great, but definitely better. We were extremely disappointed that during the Masters they didn't have that channel. What? TV stations actually were not great. We thought golf was big in Ireland! The restaurant/bar was not great. Service was not good and our dinner food took about 45 minutes to come out. The breakfast buffet of bought with check in is only $10 and is worth it. There are some interesting things on it like a really honey comb. It wasn't great but definitely a buy. The location besides the bus being a little ways down the street was ideal. Right where the bus stopped was a huge shopping center. Amazing. There was a diner across the street with a Starbucks and a great coffee shop the other way. Just stayed here our last night to be close to the airport. Front desk was nice enough and the rooms were decent. Had a horrible time at the bar/restaurant for dinner. Service was one of the worst places I've eaten in a long time. For the price ( which was not cheap) we had to chase down multiple folks to just get seated, order and eventually pay. Even at one time the Supervisor came over but it was if no one cared. As we sat there I noticed we weren't the only ones with that problem. For a Hilton property I'm embarrassed for them. Shuttle in the morning is a few and is not as close as you think so give yourself time. Plus they charge if you're not of a certain status and you must make reservations. read more

Surprised at this average overall rating. I arrived early on a Saturday morning - one of those classic overnight flights form the US. The staff did all that they could to accommodate me. Landed around 7AM. Next Shuttle was at 7:25AM and then 8:10AM. I wasn't able to make the 7:25AM. Once you have your bags, you walk to Zone 16. It's over the bridge and down a level from where you come out of baggage claim. It's a bit of a hike but just follow the signage. The bus is mostly yellow and not obvious that it is for Hilton. Zone 16 has a lot of BIG busses - like tour busses. The Hilton bus parks just across from those in a few smaller spaces. Shuttle ride is about 10 minutes and drops you right out front. I "killed" time by going straight to breakfast. If you are familiar with a typical European breakfast bar then you know, its a lot of food and options. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. :-). Breakfast is free for HHonors Diamond members. I used the free WiFi during breakfast and in a comfortable sitting area just off the lobby. It was fast and stable. The staff was able to get me into my assigned room by 12:30!! I cannot tell you how much value that brings. Room was very nice. 1 queen bed and modern with refrigerator. Also has a standard 110 receptacle so if you need to charge more then 1 device, you only need 1 adapter. I did not see any USB ports in room but there were USB ports down in sitting area off the lobby. Great hotel. read more

I have to say; this hotel was a dream. Not only did they have great rooms and service, but you could eat inside during the pandemic. The customer service was terrific, and even though they could not provide an airport shuttle, they went out of their way to pay for our cab ride to the airport and back. We had gone up to Northern Ireland, and needed a hotel to stay before our early morning flight back to Newark, so we choice the Hilton. The location is close enough to the airport, and while we didn't need it, there's a Tesco Extra and restaurants across the road. Indoor parking is free. Our room was fine, although every hotel we stayed at in Ireland had a very hard mattress. We had a queen sized bed (the other hotels we stayed in, including another Hilton in Belfast) all had Kings for us. The bathroom was small, but functional. We were near the airport, but we didn't hear any plane noise. There is a bar/lounge off the lobby that had a young man singing standards (think Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, etc.) and he was very good. Service was slow and I felt that for the price of my Bushmills 16-year Whiskey, the pour seemed light (after waiting 30 minutes for it). read more

Can't find anything positive to say about this hotel. As a hotel airport, one usually assumes that a shuttle to/from airport is included. The shuttles don't run very often, and instead of waiting almost an hour for the shuttle, we opted for a cab. They have their times listed for the shuttle and note that there is a charge to use the shuttle. Check in was done by a supervisor who was neither welcoming or friendly. We asked if she knew the hours of the nearby Tesco and she couldn't really be bothered. Room was very basic and not what we typically expect from the Hilton Brand. When we called to reserve our shuttle to the airport the next morning we were told that there was no room on the shuttle. When we showered we realized the towels had giant holes in them. Stayed in a 1Bdr + Living Room Suite for 1+ wk Negatives: - Room was either too hot or too cold; air con did not work properly & there was no ability to open the windows - Bed was rock hard and you could feel the springs in your back, left us with severe back pain for days, even after checking out. Staff told us all mattresses were recently replaced and there was nothing they could do. - Room was dated, fixtures were falling off the wall. Sink faucet was loose. This is an airport hotel, so right off the bat that's a clue to not expect anything fancy. However our room felt old, like it had not had a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint and furniture upgrade in many many years. The chairs and carpet were stained (see photos) and weirdly, both chairs were made up as single beds (in addition to the king-sized bed for me and my husband.) Did they accidentally put us in a room meant for a family? We couldn't use the extra beds and wanted to sit in the chairs, so we folded the chairs back up, but the back pillows were nowhere to be found. Odd. Also the layout of this room is strange....it's very long but not wide, and the window is super high up. Maybe it was originally meant for a different purpose? The bed was comfortable enough. The main reason for the 3 stars (besides the fact that the room didn't feel the cleanest) is that TONS of people were milling around the lobby and elevators unmasked, and staff did nothing about it. We are at the surge of Omicron and this really isn't the time to slack off on COVID measures. It did not inspire a lot of confidence in the safety protocols taken by the hotel. (In other chains, high touch items like the phone and tv remote will be covered in plastic after being cleaned. No sign of anything like that here.) Airport Hotel but the drive does not seem very close to the airport. The Bad about this hotel is it takes 15-20 min to get to and from the airport. The plus side is this hotels location is ideal for shopping. One thing I can appreciate is a hotel that places me in a good location. The gym was 24 hours another plus that I enjoy and was above average for an airport hotel property. Breakfast was buffet style hot plentiful and the seating area beautiful. Hotel restaurant was super loud and the service was awful. We had to wait almost a half an hour for our bill after asking for it. The Room was pretty basic and I got the least expensive room. The price was better than surrounding accommodations. The downstairs lobby restaurant was decent and quite relaxing and nicely decorated really. The service we received there was pretty excellent and the food was fine. The shuttle service worked well. You get it free if you are a gold or above. If not it's clearly stated on the website that it costs 3 E a way or 5 E rt. I would stay here again probably (if the price remains a value). read more

When you're planning your holiday this year, there are surely many variables to consider when you are choosing a destination. The Azores, maybe? (bit far away, though) The south of France (probably a bit jammers during August, mind) Fret no more, as the Hilton Hotel Group have solved all your problems by constructing a hotel in sunny Darndale, just a hop and a skip away on the outskirts of Dublin. The Darndale Hilton (whoops, I mean Airport Hilton, mustn't draw attention to the fact that it's in Darndale) seems somewhat of a folly, as who in their right mind would open a hotel in what is essentially a ghetto? Turns out that it actually was a rather shrewd business decision from Paris' folks, as the Airport Hilton is located right next to the brand-spanking new, but as yet empty, suburb of 'Belmayne' (horrible name, that). There isn't really anyone living there yet, and with the property market gone to shit, there probably won't be for some time, but when people do move in, the Hilton will be the only place with a bar for some distance. I was at a function at the Hilton - pretty much a standard hotel function room type of thing, which I wouldn't be terribly keen about at the best of times, plus, at the end of the night, you were left out in the fuckin sticks. It's pretty hard to get a taxi from Darndale in the middle of the night, even with the airport nearby. read more

Stayed here for a night since the layover from our flight was a whooping 15 hours. Looking at this as an opportunity to explore Dublin, we went right to the hotel after landing and asked the front desk where to go for an authentic Irish pub experience. Unfortunately, Tuesday at 10pm was just about the worst time to grab a bite to eat anywhere but the awesome hotel driver went above and beyond and offered us a free ride to the neighboring town of Malahide to continue our little search. We were able to make a pit stop to get a Guinness on tap (which should be on everyone's bucket list even if you're not a beer drinker!). Satisfied, we came back to our lovely spacious room which was upgraded since they had space and the view from the room was A+. The free breakfast also exceeded our expectations. They had a wonderful roll out of all your breakfast must-haves along with a great bakery selection and made to order omelettes, pancakes, waffles etc from the kitchen. Even their cappuccino/latte machine hit the spot for that much needed early morning pick me up. They also have a free airport shuttle that leaves a couple times every hour. We were thrilled to have this option and it made for a smooth check-in at the airport. Realistically, everything about our visit was phenomenal. They had loads of nice perks but it was the super nice welcome and authentic hospitality at this hotel that made us feel the warm and fuzzies. Definitely recommend this hotel if you need a nice place to crash for the night! read more

We were told they have transportation To the Hotel, however to get to the Bus you are required to take a long walk with bags across the airport. Then Wait 45 minutes for a bus once at the Hotel the printer to print boarding Passes did not work. I asked the front desk if the bus would Drop us off at terminal 2 in the morning and said it would. However in the morning The desk clerk said no . We had to Take taxi for an additional 20 euros. I would not recommend the Hilton at Dublin airport. As a gold member I was not recognized as a member. There are hotels at the airport that Would provide better service. As for the bar and restaurant I was Not impressed with with staff, rather Cold and not concerned. As for the dinner the server was not Concerned with taking care of us and The meal we had was a poor value. The front desk manager was not helpful and the hotel was not welcoming. I have never stayed here, as it would be completely pointless seeing as though I live in the city, but I've popped in here a couple of times to meet people who are on a lay over or whatever and I really liked it. I thought it looked a bit shabby from the outside and was a tad confused on how to get inside - for some reason we couldn't manage to find the front door from where we parked. The bar is lovely - very modern and the décor is really nice. I found the staff to be both efficient and courteous. Oh and they have free wi-fi too! read more

Due to the coronavirus and bans on travel, we were not able to leave the United States to stay at this hotel. We tried calling the hotel and the travel agency which is Travelocity to let them know we will not be able to complete the stay. we were not able to contact either place in a week! The hotel now refuses to give a refund because we did not cancel and were considered a no-show. WE LITERALLY COULD NOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY! There is a world-wide pandemic going on and this hotel is choosing to steal the cost of a three-night stay. This hotel does not care about is customers, only its good reviews and money. This is disgusting. They have not offered anything and the one time I was able to talk to the manager he was extremely disrespectful. I am appalled at the way they have handled this situation. I am attaching screenshots proving I tried to contact them a week prior. If you are considering ever staying at this hotel, remember they are greedy and will steal your money. This is a time of great stress for the ENTIRE WORLD and this hotel chose greed over its service. When we come to Ireland we will not be booking here and we will make sure no one we know stays here either. This was my first visit to the Hilton at the Dublin airport. My stay started out poorly as I arrived at the airport expecting to be met by the airport shuttle. I called the hotel only to be informed that the shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes and would be there in approximately 20 minutes. I went to the location where the shuttle was to be and waited for approximately 30 minutes and the shuttle did not appear. I called the hotel and was informed the shuttle might be broken, the person that answered the phone didn't really seem to have good information about that, come to find out later they have two shuttles I don't know whatever happened to the second shuttle, and they asked that we wait a little while longer. I waited another 15 minutes and called back in again at which time the hotel informed me that they were going to send a taxi. We waited another 20 plus minutes and a taxi came but it was too small to hold six persons and their luggage even though I had explained to the hotel that that was how many people we had, and then of course there were other people waiting by now so those other people literally stepped in front of us and confiscated the taxi, ( with my 79-year-old mother sitting on the sidewalk in her wheelchair with a blanket on her lap ....how rude), and took the taxi and we waited another 15 minutes for our taxi. All in all we waited for nearly 2 hours from the time we were originally to get the shuttle until the time the taxi pick this up which was unpleasant standing on the sidewalk in zone 14 pick up for that long. When you only have 16 hours in Dublin that is not the way you want to spend it. It was quite chilly outside and cloudy with a fine mist. There is no shelter in the location where they pick you up but there is a stand that sells coffee and hot chocolate. The hotel didn't really apologize and the desk clerk seemed quite frustrated by the entire situation . Interestingly enough the shuttle was fine two hours later when we needed it to take us into town for dinner. The shuttle driver was great he gave us a running commentary and engaged in conversation that was interesting and relevant. Also drove past the houser of several U2 band members . UnFortunately nobody was standing outside waiting for us to drive by. You would think that the hotel might offer us a free drink which cost them approximately $.25 in food cost to make us feel better about standing on the sidewalk for two hours but that definitely didn't happen. Extra sad because I am an honors advantage member and have been for many years and normally I am treated very well at Hilton establishments. This visit was starting off on the wrong foot. The taxi driver was great, although he doesn't work for the Hilton. We got to the hotel and were able to check in immediately which was nice and our rooms are ready, two rooms Adjacent to each other These rooms are called family guest rooms I think. The room has one queen size bed which is nice and fluffy nice bedding and two Sofa beds which are slightly larger than a twin bed but couldn't sleep two persons for sure and they were both unfolded in each room and made up with sheets and blankets. The bathrooms were adequate. They have nice toiletries. There were still hairs on the floor in the bathrooms and the rooms were not particularly clean but not gross dirty either. The room rate did not include breakfast or anything other than the room and we ended up paying US$500 for the two rooms for the night which I don't think it's necessarily out of line for the area exactly but it was very high for what you receive. As others have mentioned that they also charge you for the shuttle even if you don't use it. What's even more interesting is that they charged my card approximately $70 more than the bill they gave me at checkout. Hotel did pay the taxi fare to bring us to the hotel at least. There is a small mini fridge which is useful and a kettle to make yourself some instant coffee if you want. In the morning there was a pot of coffee and a pot of tea downstairs by the desk. There is no type of free breakfast or anything of the sort. I did not even turn on the television so I can't comment as to the programming. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant but it llooked like it was a nice place. I would probably stay there again but I wish I could get a better rate because 500 bucks is really quite a bit for less than 15 hours of use of two rooms. read more

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK HERE! First off, I had booked this hotel through Travelocity as one of four hotels during my stay in Ireland in March. Due to the Coronavirus, there was a travel ban from the U.S. I contacted the hotel on March 11th (my booking was for March 20th) letting them know I would not be coming for obvious reasons. They said talk to Travelocity about it. Travelocity had such long wait times that I could not get in touch with them for almost 2 weeks! The day of my booking I finally got through to Travelocity and the hotel manager said that I was a "no show". I told them in a message on March 11th that I would not be coming but he played this game so he wouldn't give me a refund. Bottom line, my other 3 hotels quickly refunded me with complete understanding. This hotel, far from considerate or friendly even when I talked to him on the phone. He just took my $300 because of their "policy". We couldn't leave the country and he knew that on March 11th!!! They offered nothing! Play it safe people, and do NOT book this hotel property. We chose to stay at the Dublin Airport Hotel for the last night of our vacation, it was convenient for rental car drop off and it have a free shuttle to the airport. With a AAA discount the room was very reasonable priced for a Friday night. The hotel was very new, the room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, but the shower was slippery (there is actually a sign that says you can request a shower mat if needed-request it!) and all staff from front desk to housekeeping was very friendly. I would not stay here if I wanted to spend time in downtown Dublin, but for our purpose and its price it was perfect! read more

I feel bad for them but how hard is it to train people basic service duties. Fish n chips were soggy and not very good. Edible though as menu is limited. Didn't have towels in my room, called and asked for ice...I'm still waiting for it. Room was clean but noisy next door, they did put on sky sports as I requested but the room TV channels are very bad. There has to be better options close by. read more

Famous lie -- "If you are not satisfied with your stay, we will make it right". The stay was totally messed up even before I left the airport. They are a ten minute drive from the airport but only run a shuttle at irregular 40-45 minute intervals. I showed up 30 minutes beforehand but was soon surrounded by a horde of geriatric types; when the bus came, I did not manage to out shove the people in wheelchairs & walkers and missed out on a seat - so I ended up taking a cab at my expense. Cab arrived at hotel about a second after the shuttle but this time I shoved past the seniors for check in. In my haste I did not confirm my AARP rate and only realized I was being charged something higher the next morning when I got the bill (which also included 2 Euros for the shuttle ride in --- WTF!!!). Went to front desk and guy erased 2 Euro shuttle fee but told me that my room rate was the AARP rate. However, when I asked why it was 104 vs. 94 Euros based on the booking, he said I needed to talk to reservations. After b'fast I inquired again about the room rate and after a bunch of key punching was told there wasn't anything they could do. When I asked about the motto to "make it right", I got Eastern European blank stares and indecipherable responses. Upon asking who was in charge I was told "Anne Marie Byrne" but they wouldn't/couldn't get her. What's the old saying? "Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me!" = I won't be back. read more

NOT the place to use as HQ for your Dublin trip, but a great spot to park on the last night and use the free airport shuttle. Nice rooms, nice staff, nice restaurant...and that's all good because there isn't much else to do in the area. Above average airport hotel, newer, good rate- 59 euro! read more

One of the most comfortable hotels I stayed at while in Ireland. Free Wifi, good restaurant and bar downstairs, has a gym. Refrigerator in room. Bed was comfy and slept really good. The food was delicious especially the cheesy fries. And of course its convisntly next to a shopping outlet, grocerie stores, cafe and the airport. read more

The service at the hotel it self was amazing! The front desk clerk gave us all the information we needed and helped guide us for our travels after our stay. I'm putting 4 stars because the restaurant they have partnered with, Burnells, is absolutely terrible. The customer service here was awful and did not leave a good impression on us for our last night in Ireland. We had hoped to enjoy our last night here and we were greatly disappointed. read more

This is a perfectly nice and comfortable place to stay after tramping around Ireland. The newish & clean rooms were certainly welcome. The location of this Hilton is rather poor, however. It is a long way from the airport and a long way from downtown Dublin, two big negatives as far as I'm concerned. The lounge & dining area can be a bit noisy and the dinner service we found to be slow. Sadly, there is no pub nearby that one can walk to, so you are almost required to eat in! These few negatives bring this normally 4 star review down to 3. Sorry, Paris! read more
