Their portions are HUGE - I got a small and I could still only manage half of it. It's shaved ice so it's not gourmet but the syrup flavors are pretty nice. I would have loved to try one of their sundaes but that seems like a two person job lol. Next time I go back, I'll plan to split one and try the pizza next door.

I found out about crushed velvet from TikTok and thought it looked super cool. I went on a Saturday…read moreso it was pretty lively. There was live music and dancing which I think was part of a kids program or class. You can play pool or just chill under the tent and watch tv. There was a baseball game playing when I went. The checkered spot was there serving brews as well. This is a dog friendly environment as well as kid friendly. When I got there they had just taken a break. Probably to clean the equipment and refresh the supplies. So although I did wait a long time on a very hot day I can't say it was because of bad service. The staff was actually pretty nice and kept apologizing for the wait. Prices are average. They offer custom made syrups which I will try on the next trip. This trip was to get the rainbow that I saw in TikTok. The snow ball itself was really big. What I didn't like was the container. Although it was perfect to display my rainbow, I feel like it wasn't big enough to hold the contents. And my snowball melted fast so it was a little soupy in the bowl. Silver lining is that the container is eco friendly. Parking is difficult here. There is a tiny lot but only 5 cars can fit at once and it seems tightbto get in and out of there. I did get lucky and found street parking very close. But if all else fails, there is a parking lot across the street if you don't mind paying or plan to be in the area a while.

Located right off German Hill Rd. in Dundalk, this snowball stand is beautifully lit at night with bright neon so you can't miss it. Since it's only a stand, there is no inside dining, however there are a few metal benches adjacent to the building where you can sit and enjoy your order. The menu is located on the side of the building next to the window at which you order. Service: 5/5. Staff is always quick to take orders and is always very pleasant. The stand can get pretty busy during peak summer hours, but luckily the staff at Icy are efficient at turning orders quickly. I have waited in lines 6-7 parties deep and have only waited 5-10 minutes to get my order. Food: 5/5. This is my go to stand for a classic Baltimore snowball. They do a good job crushing the ice to a fluffy consistency as well as evenly distributing the flavor syrups. Also, when administering the mandatory marshmallow fluff, they put half in the center and the rest on top for perfect mallow distribution from start to finish. On my last visit we opted to try the new Banana Cream Mega Shakes they have been advertising and we were not disappointed! Reminiscint of the IG famous Black Top Milkshakes in NYC, these are a scaled down version but equally as tasty!

It was delicious, and absolutely large enough for two. It was loaded up with toppings and even had another layer of the toppings at the bottom. The workers ask if you want condensed milk added to it, allowing for sweetness modification as desired. Amazing dessert, would definitely return for another bingsoo and to give their lunch menu a try!

Toppings in the bowl include mochi, mango jelly, and mango cubes. On top is some mochi, mango slices, and a scoop of passion fruit sorbet. There is mango sauce and condensed milk throughout the bowl. The staff spent a lot of effort to make the bowl pretty and did a nice job of mixing the ingredients so that you don't have toppings on top only. The shop seems cute and there seems like there would be more things available when the owner is in. They have lunch boxes that look good. They also have takoyaki on the menu but the machine is currently down. One thing that I didn't like is that the item was different from the menu description. I was expecting mango snow and mango ice cream or sorbet. It's not the end of the world but I picked this one in particular because it was supposed to be mango snow. While the bingsoo is large enough to share, I also feel it is priced a bit high for what it is. Might be because there aren't many other laces like this in the area but bingsoo is usually bigger or less pricey. Overall, a decent stop for dessert if you want something a little different. Street parking was not that hard to find when we went.
