I've always liked this spot and have been begging t for them to get vegan options. Finally, after the merge, they offer vegan ice cream here. It's strawberry and it's good, kinda wish they offered another flavor like the other always shops but a victory is a victory. The service was okay, you could tell the kids didn't really want to help, but then again, the service is always a bit better for other customers, but I digress. I went into Daily scoop to get my weekly vanilla cone. When I went in the place had a peculiar smell almost like a dead animal which affected my appetite. I wouldnt have written a review if the events that followed never occurred but, this teenage girl kyra (as said on her name tag) gave me rude stares and then I heard her call me fat and sweaty. The cookies and cream flavor is out of this world. It's definitely the best version of that flavor I've ever had. The waffle cone wasn't great, so I would get a bowl/cup next time, but the ice cream made up for it entirely. This place is insane! There is no order whatsoever ...............it gets crowded with screaming kids and good luck in even trying to figure out what ice cream flavors they have! Nothing is posted on wall and kids are all pressed up against the display.......no room to move. Servers don't really seem to have any system either and definitly all look like they would rather be anywhere else! Don't blame them...............that's exactly how I felt after 2 minutes......... They really should move to window only order/serving..............would be far more organized and efficient. Will not be returning anytime soon............only thing I left with was a major headache. We tried this place on a hot Summer Saturday evening. The ice cream was very good and tasted great . They had about 24 flavors with a nice variety which they seem to alternate . The prices were fairly reasonable but with the recent COVID-flation , everything is more expensive these days. A small scoop on a waffle cone runs about 5 bucks plus. One drawback- No inside seating and a lot of people were sitting in their cars with the hot humid weather. They have two sidewalk benches outside but not the best place to enjoy your ice cream in hot weather. This little shopping center was very busy and the parking lot is insane. read more

I love how efficient it is here and all the options to choose from. the last time I went I got an apple fritter ice cream sandwich and an ice cream cannoli. I should have asked for clarification, but I assumed a brownie sundae would have the topping, whipped cream, and cherry like every other sundae on the menu. Came here on a whim one late night and found a hidden gem. This place has some of the best ice cream I have ever had. It's is thick and creamy, with loads of different flavors. I had the chocolate peanut butter swirl ice cream. It had just the right amount of peanut butter to chocolate ratio. The service was efficient and friendly. After a day in the hot, Summer sun, Daily Scoop was just what we needed! Hungry and in search for food, we somehow settled for ice cream to tide us over before dinner at home. With a quick Yelp search, I recognized the Daily Scoop from a friend's recent check-in and we decided to check it out. Due to the pandemic there is no trail tasting of flavors, so I went for a scoop of Toasted Coconut and Mississippi Mud Pie, nestled into a classic waffle cone. YUM! I now have a family of my own and this is where we come for a sweet treat. The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable about what's in 'stock' and prepared to let my son try almost every ice-cream before he orders- they pack their patience. My husband is type 1 diabetic and it's rare to find an ice cream shop that sells true sugar free ice cream. They offer sugar free by the pint in chocolate and vanilla. I got a large with Oreo & chocolate Carmel swirl, while my girlfriend got curious George (banana) and raspberry. All 4 flavors were great. The place was busy, but the line was fast. Tons of flavors to pick from, but I do wish they had a slightly better setup inside as you couldn't see the flavors at the end where people are standing and still ordering. After reading the reviews I had to try this place because of my extreme love for ice cream. The shop is cute, clean and well organized. As mentioned by others, the customer service is a strong 5! The employee was friendly, professional and driven to please consumers. As for the ice cream, I only tried 3 flavors: chocolate (very basic and uneventful), mint chocolate chip (tasty but not as minty as I like), and soft serve chocolate with nuts and peanut butter drizzle. Of the 3 ice creams I'd order the mint c-chip and the soft serve but I definitely wouldn't drive out of my way for the ice cream here. read more

This used to be the best fresh ice cream in the state. I think the original owner sold, and customer service went down, and prices went up. I called to ask if they had Black Cherry. The guy who answered sounded annoyed by my question, and he sighed and said, "You can get our flavors on our Facebook page," and I said "well what if I don't have Facebook?" No response. So I said, "Well, do you have black cherry?" He said,"black cherry with brownie bits. " Ewww. Doesn't sound good at all. And the guy was rude. I'm not going out of my way for overpriced ice cream. I don't... even... know... where to... begin. I was out one day with the family on a lazy day. We didn't have much to do, and just really didn't want to be sitting at home. So we went out for lunch, and strolled the mall. After getting a few things at the mall we still weren't ready to call it a day. I suggested that we check out a shoe store that I had Yelp'd, but that didn't end as I hoped. So with no options left we were just about to call it a day, when my lady looked over and whispered....iccccee creeeam? From our location in Glen Burnie we Yelped ice cream and found The Daily Scoop, which had a glowing 5 star rating. Since we were only a few miles out of the we chose to check it out, and now my whole family are huge fans. The lady took our orders, but the best part was she asked my youngest daughter what she wanted. to to which she replied strawberry. The lady the asks if she wants that with sprinkles in a cup with a smiley face. i'm thinking okay that cup will have a smiley face, but no she made a smiley face with candy and sprinkles, and it blew my daughter away. The ice cream was really good. They had a bunch of flavors, that they change up daily I believe, but if you like their facebook page they post the flavors on there. The lady who helped us was very friendly. All of the treasts that they had displayed looked ridiculous. We actually ended up getting two cannoli's to go. A small shop, but very clean and organized, with a real friendly vibe. Coming here really made my kids day, and there smiles are priceless. Definitely worth the hype! Daily Scoop is another place that has been on my radar for quite some time. I recently came across an article on the best ice cream places in each state of the US and Daily Scoop was the pick for Maryland. I can clearly see why. I went here a little after 9 pm on a Saturday night and the line was practically to the door. The staff were very friendly and efficient, giving each customer personal attention. The line moved quickly enough for you to finally settle on what you're going to get by the time it was your turn to place your order but didn't move so slow that you were getting annoyed. Daily Scoop offers a variety of different flavors as well as sundaes and milkshakes. They even make their own waffle cones and bowls. You can also find ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and a variety of other treats here. As for my visit, I ordered the pralines and cream ice cream in a waffle bowl. I took it home with plans to enjoy my ice cream while catching up on one of my favorite shows on Netflix. Needless to say, the TV never got turned on. That ice cream was soooooo good....rich, creamy, and delicious. It reminded me of another one of my favorite ice cream shops, Island Creamery in Chincoteague, VA. So good! As I was leaving the shop, the owner was leaving out behind me and he thanked me for my business. He seemed very appreciative of his customers and I must say, he's doing a darn good job! The ice cream is great BUT I need more than one scoop a day. I have tried reasoning with them, waiting until shift changes, and I even tried a disguise. None of it works. They saw right through me. Security is tight and when they say "Daily Scoop" they mean it. I don't know if it is really a drawback, since the ice cream is so good, but when you miss a day you get punished. I signed the daily scoop contract in good faith and I try to adhere to it. And most days I am there buying a scoop of cookies and cream. However, somedays I am running late or following my doctor's advice. I want to eat that scoop more than anything, can you start a 3 strike rule? The ice cream at The Daily Scoop is excellent, but today's experience will make it hard for me to return any time soon. I pre-ordered & prepaid for a birthday cake four days ago and arrived to a crowded store to pick it up this afternoon. I walked to the register and quietly informed the young lady at the register that I was picking up a cake. She said, "I'll get that after I take care of these customers." I figured she may have meant the person who was paying, but it became evident that she meant everyone in the store who was in line. After the next family was served and paid, I asked if the person in the back could bring out the cake. That is when she lectured me that the person in the back was decorating cakes and she was alone in the front of the store. She would get my cake when she finished serving the people ahead of me. It would have taken her less time to get the cake than to lecture me. At this point, another customer even offered to let me go ahead of her family, but I declined since there were others in line behind her. I even had to wait for a person who had not preordered a cake to have it decorated! If you are going to require people to prepay when ordering cakes, there is no reason to make them wait. In fact, I waited the first time when I placed the order originally. Could have been handled much better. read more
