It actually fell out of the machine and onto the employee's non-gloved hand. I really should've taken a photo, but it felt really disrespectful. I saw another guy order an ice cream cone and the employee tried molding the ice cream with his gloved hands to have it sit properly. That should've been recorded. Why are you guys selling ice cream when clearly your machine is not working and the ice cream is not holding shape? I felt bad for the employee because I'm sure he wouldn't eat the ice cream he was handing out. Also, I think the baked goods next to the cashier should all be under glass and not sitting out in the open like that. I was so turned off by the experience here.

As you would expect, the smell was delightful upon entering, and the staff were so friendly. You were able to sample as many flavors as we wanted, and we could literally create whatever we wanted. I wasn't ready to eat it at that moment, so I actually got a quart of dark chocolate and cinnamoo bun ice cream with cookie dough mixed in. They have cones and bowls as options too. After experiencing this, I later learned that you can make custom pints and more with mix-ins at Coldstone, I had no idea! But definitely feel better supporting local local. Delicious!!! For my taste, Tous les Jours edges out Paris Baguette. Both bakeries are clean and bright and spacious. I find the offerings at Tous les Jours to be in better shape -- generally less dried out. We got: a mango and cream filled croissant, an egg custard, a croquette, a spinach/feta danish, and a hotdog in pastry. They all tasted pretty good. The croquette has a bouncy dough and a crunchy outside as well as enough stuffings on the inside. TLJ sufficiently heated the savory pastries up for us (unlike the PB equivalent that was still cold on the inside). The team working at the bakery are mostly friendly and helpful -- the young guy at the cash register may be new -- he seemed more easily flustered, but the other servers were all very efficient.
