Delicious banana ice cream. Big ass waffle cone - $5.30! This is easily a PINT on this cone. Couldn't finish it all.
    Mike R.

REAL ice cream is appropriate. I love good ice cream. Always have. This stuff is thick, rich, and super dee duper DENSE. I couldn't even finish the entire cone. It has to easily be a pint+ of ice cream + a good sized extra large waffle cone. This stuff is hard-hitting. Not for the faint of heart and definitely not no Baskin-Robbins or Dairy Queen. Not cheap either @$5 a cone. Lately I've been buying Blue Bell pints from Walmart since scoops of ice cream from most places I find kind of uninspiring these days. Even if I was interested in fast food soft serve like from McDonald's, for example, everyone knows their ice cream machine is always broken, lol. I sometimes go to a small family farm in Southern Maryland that does it fresh and that makes me happy. They're very seasonal though and have limited variety. I had banana from Bruster's and loved it. The ice cream isn't super syrupy sweet (at least mine wasn't) which made for a perfect complement to the waffle cone - which was very sweet. Certainly less sweet week than the Banana Pudding ice cream I get from Blue Bell. Still decadent though. I've been passing a few of these Bruster's locations forever and finally decided to stop since I had some appointments in the area the other day. Glad I did because I'll be going back. Gotta be careful because this ice cream is definitely a potential waistline enhancer.

Yes Please! DELICIOUS ICE CREAM!! The place does not look like it would be high end ice cream - a simple walk up window lacking in the vibes. But they really do it right! The Almond Chocolate Coconut is out of this world! Best part - free ice cream for your pup!!!!!

Love this Bruster's location. It is closer to home and less busy than the one up in Glen Burnie. The staff is always friendly and quick. I have made several special orders in the past and the process was always super simple. A quick phone call to put the order in and tell them when you want it and then it was always ready when needed. The banana ice cream is my absolute favorite and I have bought it by the gallons in the past to keep at home. Brusters is dog friendly (even though they are only a walk up store) and even offers a complimentary puppy sundae when you bring your dog along. It is the tiniest scoop of vanilla ice cream with a milk bone on top. Reaper approves of it =)

This is our go to place for ice cream. Whether it's blistering hot or ice cold....we will always get ice cream at this location. Plenty of flavors to choose from and very in different days. They have an online option and are able to order and pick up instead of waiting in line. I go her so often they already know my name when I go there. Highly recommended!

Coffee Oreo ice cream - like heaven on earth 5/5

Coffee Oreo! Best flavor on earth! Thanks to the SP location for notifying us so we didn't miss out on carrying out some tubs of my favorite ice cream! Just heavenly!

Bruster's is great. I always know I'm going to get good ice cream when I go. I got a small waffle cone with toffee crunch ice cream. A small waffle cone comes with 2 scoops of ice cream. Quick service. The cashier was friendly & always good ice cream. Highly recommend!

My professor bought this delicious ice cream for us. But why Bruster's Real Ice Cream "

The menu with lots of glare (sorry). Options include bowls, cones, sundaes and shakes.
    Courtney K.

Bottom Line: A walk-up window where you can get ice cream cones, shakes and sundaes. In my mind Brusters was a cute old-fashioned ice cream parlor where I could sit down and enjoy some summertime ice cream in the air-conditioning. I'm not sure where that imagery came from as Bruster's is just a window that you walk up to to place your order and receive your ice cream. The only places to sit are on the curb or at some wobbly picnic tables in the grass surrounded by bees. Having said that, the staff was friendly, service was fast and the ice cream was delicious.

This is my favorite place for a scoop of birthday cake ice cream. Their birthday cake ice cream is to die for! It has icing and sprinkles swirled in and they give you like 3 scoops in a waffle cone. It's so delicious and it came out within 2 minutes of me ordering. The service was friendly. Their other flavors are okay but this one is the one that keeps me coming back.

This is the second time I have visited this place and I love it! I wanted the Birthday cake milkshake but they ran out by the time I got there. instead i got the vanilla with cookie dough and it was so good! I finished it in the car before we even pulled off!

The first time I stopped by, I grabbed a cookie. That day they had the banana pudding cookie. Since I love banana pudding, this was a no-brainer. I don't know how they got this cookie to taste like banana pudding, but they did. Adding the white chocolate drizzle took it over the top for me. The second time I had the sweet potato cheesecake. I love sweet potatoes and I have not had a sweet potato dish or dessert that I didn't like. This cheesecake kept the streak alive. I'm assuming this is a seasonal dish, but I really wish it was a permanent item on the menu. If there was a way that I could eat this every day and not gain weight, I would. I'm hoping I can catch it again before the season changes and they moved on to some other cheesecake flavor. I'm pretty sure I was helped by the owner both times. I can't remember her name, but she was pleasant and gave great recommendations.

The place is bright, colorful, really fun energy the second you walk in. They've got a Street Fighter arcade cabinet and a soccer table, so you can talk trash to whoever you came with while sipping your drink. Pretty hard to beat that combo. My wife got the pineapple coconut piña colada slushy and was raving about it the whole time, she used her favorite word: refreshing, describing it as not too sweet, and that it hit the spot just right. Me? I was too busy losing at Street Fighter to focus. The staff were awesome too, friendly & helpful without being overbearing, actually seemed like they enjoyed being there. Just a fun spot. It might look tiny, but don't misjudge the coffee and other drinks they are making here! I actually went back after my first order to try another beverage, it was that good. I started with a Fall-flavored 'refresher,' though I can't honestly remember the name. But, it was amazing! I was down the strip a few shops for an event, so I popped back to The Big Bean before they closed for their "Not Ready for Winter" coffee concoction. Another winner! I also picked up a couple of biscotti for later. When we did finally get around to trying them, they were incredible! Very hard and crunchy as a biscotti should be, and perfect for soaking up some coffee for dunking. And the flavors are perfect. Other people were ordering their breakfast sandwiches, which honestly looked and smelled incredible... I just didn't have room for food that day. Or, I would have totally ordered one just based off of others' orders alone! The real five-star facet here, though, was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, despite how busy they were. They still found time for friendly and cheerful banter while ringing everyone up. I don't think team members get enough credit when they go above and beyond, but please take the time to tip or at least acknowledge the fantastic folks here! Overall, it's a wonderful coffee shop that I wish were closer to home! And... had more parking! The number and orientation of spots here isn't ideal, but it's worth an extra walk (huge lot across the street) for the drinks, snacks, and people at The Big Bean. Outstanding overall experience!
