Excellent ice cream place! It does sit heavy as it is full fat, but the taste is incredible. Definitly recommend going for a summer event treat. Super friendly staff and very willing to let you sample. Only outdoor seating, walk up counter only. read more

The only thing better than the ice cream is the staff who ate unfailingly courteous, cheerful, friendly, and make you feel like they ate genuinely happy to see you - even when we show up eight minutes before close. What used to be an occasional summertime treat has become a twice weekly excursion that we (and especially our dog!) look forward to every several days! Tell Maggie Winston says, "woof!" read more

Just some good quality ice cream right here. Grabbed a late night treat on the way home from Kent island. The ice cream was smooth and delicious. Line was a bit long when I arrived but they had a few windows open so it went by fast. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Severna Park, Maryland

REAL ice cream is appropriate. I love good ice cream. Always have. This stuff is thick, rich, and super dee duper DENSE. I couldn't even finish the entire cone. It has to easily be a pint+ of ice cream + a good sized extra large waffle cone. This stuff is hard-hitting. Not for the faint of heart and definitely not no Baskin-Robbins or Dairy Queen. Not cheap either @$5 a cone. Lately I've been buying Blue Bell pints from Walmart since scoops of ice cream from most places I find kind of uninspiring these days. Even if I was interested in fast food soft serve like from McDonald's, for example, everyone knows their ice cream machine is always broken, lol. I sometimes go to a small family farm in Southern Maryland that does it fresh and that makes me happy. They're very seasonal though and have limited variety. I had banana from Bruster's and loved it. The ice cream isn't super syrupy sweet (at least mine wasn't) which made for a perfect complement to the waffle cone - which was very sweet. Certainly less sweet week than the Banana Pudding ice cream I get from Blue Bell. Still decadent though. I've been passing a few of these Bruster's locations forever and finally decided to stop since I had some appointments in the area the other day. Glad I did because I'll be going back. Gotta be careful because this ice cream is definitely a potential waistline enhancer. read more

Yes Please! DELICIOUS ICE CREAM!! The place does not look like it would be high end ice cream - a simple walk up window lacking in the vibes. But they really do it right! The Almond Chocolate Coconut is out of this world! Best part - free ice cream for your pup!!!!! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Our fur baby loves her ice cream with a bone!!!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Severna Park, Maryland

Love this Bruster's location. It is closer to home and less busy than the one up in Glen Burnie. The staff is always friendly and quick. I have made several special orders in the past and the process was always super simple. A quick phone call to put the order in and tell them when you want it and then it was always ready when needed. The banana ice cream is my absolute favorite and I have bought it by the gallons in the past to keep at home. Brusters is dog friendly (even though they are only a walk up store) and even offers a complimentary puppy sundae when you bring your dog along. It is the tiniest scoop of vanilla ice cream with a milk bone on top. Reaper approves of it =) read more

I consider myself an ice cream snob lol self proclaimed and I love Bruster's like I crave it! I always get something different because the flavors change so often but everything I've had has been great and they do not skimp on toppings or scoops you get your moneys worth and the price is not crazy. Milkshakes are great sundaes are great just all and all wonderful. Friendly and quick staff as well. read more

Great local ice cream place around the corner from the house. Have had a few of their blasts and my favorite is EXTRA REESES PIECES or the butterfinger one. Always smells like sugar when standing in line and just makes my taste buds start salivating! Love, love, love it! Jake n kev read more

This is our go to place for ice cream. Whether it's blistering hot or ice cold....we will always get ice cream at this location. Plenty of flavors to choose from and very in different days. They have an online option and are able to order and pick up instead of waiting in line. I go her so often they already know my name when I go there. Highly recommended! read more

This is in my humble opinion, the best ice cream that I've ever had. Today was a great example. I just got a single dip of the chocolate peanut butter with the buckeyes. It was just outstanding super creamy. Lots of candy lots of chocolate, lots of peanut butter, what a treat! Love this place. read more

Let me preface this by saying it's not the ice cream. I love Bruster's ice cream... Friday evening, I made an online order on my way home for myself and my 1 year old grandson. I was about 1/2 mile away when I received the call that my order was ready. After parking at the front of the store, I walked up to the window that stated online order pickup and there I stood. I was never acknowledged. The 3 employees had taken orders from both windows and then kept their backs turned to the customers. I waited about 10 minutes. Still not acknowledged. I literally had to slide open the window and ask them for my online order. My grandson was crying his eyes out. No apologies or anything. Service was horrible. read more

Had the sugar free option. Some sort of fruit swirl maybe raspberry. Chemical taste profile, due to artificial sweetener. There are Other options for sweeteners like stevia that don't have that flavor profile. Regular items on the menu are awesome. If it's hot out expect a long line. The parking lot is fairly large and having a couple missing tenets in the strip mall allow for more parking spaces. It is across the street from the fire station. You probably will hear a fire call or two while you are there, loud. read more

The nicest people run this store! And today I had THE best ice cream I have ever had in my entire life: Southern Banana Puddin' - SO good!!

Bottom Line: A walk-up window where you can get ice cream cones, shakes and sundaes. In my mind Brusters was a cute old-fashioned ice cream parlor where I could sit down and enjoy some summertime ice cream in the air-conditioning. I'm not sure where that imagery came from as Bruster's is just a window that you walk up to to place your order and receive your ice cream. The only places to sit are on the curb or at some wobbly picnic tables in the grass surrounded by bees. Having said that, the staff was friendly, service was fast and the ice cream was delicious. read more

Visiting friends in the area, ordered an ice cream cake to celebrate birthdays, would do it again.

This is my favorite place for a scoop of birthday cake ice cream. Their birthday cake ice cream is to die for! It has icing and sprinkles swirled in and they give you like 3 scoops in a waffle cone. It's so delicious and it came out within 2 minutes of me ordering. The service was friendly. Their other flavors are okay but this one is the one that keeps me coming back. read more

We stopped here last night and there was no line and I got the Twix explosion regular waffle cone. It was great and they give you a good amount of ice cream that I wasn't even able to finish it. I'm hoping my husband and I just experienced an"off night," but we were given exceptionally small portions for what I'd consider an expensive price. My flavor, chocolate peanut butter chip was ok at best and the workers were a little spacey. We'll drive the extra distance to go to the daily scoop in Pasadena read more

I owed my kids some ice cream and being new to Glen Burnie we made a trip down Ritchie Hwy to find a spot. My daughter spotted Bruster's, a place we have not experienced yet. It was in a small shopping center next to a 7-11. No seating just a store front you order your ice cream from. single scoop waffle cone was $4 which was pretty good price for the amount of the single scoop. My wife and I shared the double choco chunk, which was pretty darn good. Friendly, fast service with a smile! read more

Best ice cream around - hands down! We have tried so many and this place rocks. Get the waffle cone! They are great!

Ice cream was disgusting, taste store bought. Customer service was horrible. Never going back

This is a different kind of Brusters. They have a walk up window and the only seating is outside with a few tables and chairs. We were simple, we got a sugar cone and waffle cone. The ice cream was delish. I was carrying my 1 year old daughter and the staff asked me if I wanted the free baby cone. We said, "yes." I didn't know that was an option. The baby cone was adorable. They covered the small scope with sprinkles and made two little eyeballs with some candy. The staff was great and so was the ice cream. read more

WOW THIS IS GOOD ICE CREAM! Bruster's Real Ice Cream recently catered a party I attended. Me and my wife got some samples of their New York Cheesecake Ice Cream and Salted Caramel Ice Cream. I'm addicted. read more

I ordered pints to pick up from their website and I was sadly not impressed. I opened the container and was greeted with a big melted mess. Half of the ice cream was cold. We stopped for some ice cream because we heard so much about Busters. Wife got a cone, son got a scoop and I got a chocolate milkshake. Everyone was kinda happy with their choice but me. I know they had trainees working this day but my shake tasted like a watered down chocolate milk. In my 68 years I never tasted and worst shake in my life. Word to the wise, if you see a sign saying "dippers in training", get the cone, they can't mess that up I hope!!! read more

This place always has great ice cream but the best part is the customer service. The last time we went here it was raining really bad and our kiddo had a bit of an accident. Love this place and it's only 2 blocks from the house which makes it dangerous. Ice cream is great, staff friendly and they have a walk-up window. What more could you ask for? Ordered a cake in advance for a birthday. Paid for it when ordered. Went for pickup when they said it would be ready. Did not make the cake at all. Said they forgot. Offered a refund - yeah thanks - you didn't have a cake we paid for. As a result we were still without a cake at 3:30 on a Sunday leaving few options except a super market cake. Very disappointed. They acknowledge the error but did not offer even a pint or cone as consolidation for their error. Note this was the second time they have done this on a cake. If you order a cake - call them two days before pick up so they don't forget. They apparently "forget" often. read more
