Self-proclaimed America's Favorite Yogurt Store™, Yogurt Mountain (YOMO), comes to Arundel Mills (Hanover, MD). This will be their first store opening in the Baltimore/DC-area. On Thursday, May 5th, YOMO opened for business! Serving up frozen yogurt (FROYO), sorbet and tarts, the options for yummy add-ons are endless. Delish toppings include everything from cereal and candy to nuts and fruit and fat-free, low-fat and sugar-free options (where available). They even have Pop-Tarts as a topping! The yogurt itself is really good...good enough to fool ice cream lovers. The toppings are a nice touch, but the yogurt is great enough to hold its own. YOMO shares a space with Books-a-Million, which is convenient for yogurt-loving readers needing a sweet (or UNsweetened) fix. At the register, you can get three nice-sized sample cups and take yuor pick of the various flavors. I tried sugar-free strawberry (which didn't taste sugar-free at all, which is great), New Orleans praline (some crushed Pralines would've been tops, but I didn't bother looking for any) and cake batter (the cashier's fav). All flavors were really good, so I decided on pre-packaged ($6.99) strawberry and New Orleans praline. The regular price for a yogurt cup is $.49/ounce. Its self-serve, so go nuts -- or fruit -- or candy -- with it. **While you check out, enter your phone number at the register to up your freebie chances. FREE 10oz treat for every 6 check-ins. Yum! The store was very clean, the staff was nice. Since I work and live nearby, I hope the newness never wears off.

Good frozen yogurt. Convenient location inside the Books-A-Million bookstore at Arundel Mills Mall. Good selection of toppings. Friendly service.

    Mochi overload!

The workers are very kind. Unfortunately, the yogurt just isn't very good. It has an artificial taste and is also way way too cold.

I ordered a 4 pack of cupcakes for my husband's birthday two weeks ago. I orders a cosmic brownie,…read morestrawberry funnel cake, key lime pie and a banana toffee. While the cupcakes were good, they were not spectacular and I found that two of the four did not accurately meet the description listed online. Two said they had a flavored filling inside the cupcake when they did not. My husband really enjoyed the strawberry funnel cake one as it had strawberry filling, strawberry in the cake batter and has flavorful toppings. This cupcake was 1.00 extra as it was their premium option. The key lime pie was disappointing as the only lime flavor was the drizzle on top, nothing incorporated into the cupcake itself. While I appreciate the beautiful presentation of these cupcakes and those from other similar bakeries, I just find that none of them stand out in flavor beyond what you can purchase at the store and bake at home. I also order the "pupcakes" for my dog and he really enjoyed them. They were carrot cake with a frosting and a tiny milk bone on top. They presented beautifully and smelled delicious. I almost ate one myself!

The reviews were promising, so we decided to pick up a dozen mixed cupcakes and a slice of butter cake to celebrate his birthday. The cupcakes were moist and full of flavor--our dinner party guests loved them. Not a single disappointing flavor and certainly not one complaint. We'll definitely be back. 4.5 stars
