*** Pitstop Review (Rancho Cucamonga) *** This is a really nice looking Arco AM/PM to pull over to get some "business" done (ha ha ha...) and pick up some snacks. Let's be real, I need the bio-break more than the snacks. I'd rather they have a coin operated lock then have to buy sugary crap that totally bad for me. What can I get... hmm.. Monster? Frapachino? Here's what liked... * Really nice clean looking facility. Probably one of the better looking setups I've seen. * Looks safe to pull over and park where my vehicle won't necessarily be broken into. * In a recent "boom town" of the new mega construction zone off of the 210 fwy. Here's what I didn't like... * Bathroom is broken. * Bathroom smells like 100 people pee'd in the back stairwell of the public bus and it has never been cleaned. If you've been to some of the buses back in the old days going into downtown LA you'd know what I'm talking about (before the Staples revitalization era). * The dude at the front counter is like the "soup Natzi" in Seinfeld :-) ha ha ha... * Looks are deceiving. Nice looking area, but people have a really poor ghetto-ish attitudes. Shopping area = clean and organized Service = hmm... Restroom = looks clean, but smells like and open sewer. read more

Bathroom was clean and the attendant was nice and helpful. Unfortunately the air wasn't working but that's not their fault.

Pretty disappointed with this car wash. Went through for a quick clean and ended up with deep scratches on the back of my car, and the mental on my bumper left with a gouge in it, both definitely weren't there before. Super frustrating to pay to have your car washed and leave with damage instead. Won't be coming back. read more

My experience was good at this gas station. It's clean and spacious gas pumps. It's well lit during the evening hours. They also have diesel fuel! Overall a good experience. read more

I really can't give them more stars just because in this competitive market, they don't accept credit card and why the hell service charge of ~36 cents for each debit transaction. Filled gas , payed service charge. Wife bought some Mexican confectioners from the store and they charged service charge for debit card transaction. Go here only if you have cash, otherwise prefer some other store. read more

Pretty solid ARCO. They do have a lot of good stuff.

No way to contact the store number is not in use. Had a problem with a double charge and I was not in the area at the time.

Had a flat tire. Came here to put air in my tires (Mind you everyone knows that California law stays they cannot deny anyone air for their tires, not even by purchase) and they denied me air if i didn't purchase gas. Lol. It's no wonder these people work at gas stations. Embarrassing. read more

I was just at the arco, i walked up to pump gas as there was two employees behind the register. One was friendly and attending to the customers. As the one that i got was not. She saw me standing there and didn't address me at all. I had to ask if she was open and she responds with " give me a min" which technically did not answer my question. I failed to get her name but she was a big round girl In Resemblance to the size of tonka truck. She also had Halloween nails. Freddy Krueger ones to be exact, (which she should get her money back for) My 2 year old cousin could have done a better job. Any way, if you are in a bad mood just stay home. Don't go to work and ruin other peoples day. Thank you. read more

Came here to get air in my tire as I come here almost every three days to get gas I have no change only have my phone on me no wallet ask if they can turn on the air one standing behind the register stared at me while the other one said it's up to you. As I continue to stand there with my eight-year-old daughter asking if they can turn on the air I said I was just here the other day with $100 and you couldn't break it so I graciously went to Ralph's waste of time buying something to break my bill to then put gas in to make their job easier and today I simply asked can you put it on because I only have my Apple Pay and $.50 in change and they just stare at me. It's not hard to hire people that actually know what they're doing and care about what they're doing. Please find better employees to help your customers. read more

It's a nice day for a car wash, I didn't feel like taking my car to a real car wash place, so I figure I try my local gas station, it cost me $10 for the wash more expensive than the self wash but I need something quick. It was a bad mistake, my car still was dirty and I tried the vacuum for a $1 and it was broken. So I walk inside to get help, the cashier Italia says it's not are machine and I can't do anything about it. I ask so you can't give me my refund, she than said leave your number and a manager will call me Monday. Wow, it wasn't like I was asking for a free tank of gas or a free car wash. It's all about principal and she made me feel like she didn't care. Avoid this gas station, the gas is overpriced and you can go to citrus arch and there always $.20 cheaper. read more

Rainy stormy day, went into the Arco to put air in my low tire. The tall African Lady said I had to buy gas first. I've never heard of that before, where she so sweetly responds, I don't make the rules! When I respond I never said you did! Bought 1.00 of gas plus the friggin .35 fee for using you're card! How inconsiderate & rude this b_____ was!!! read more

Cheap gas and good selection of snacks and drinks. The gas at this ARCO always seems to be the cheapest gas around and being right next to the 210 freeway makes it very accessible. The car wash seems to be a bit expensive for only a machine wash and the vacuum costs extra. The window cleaners are always full and the station itself is very well lit and clean. The service inside is always friendly and courteous. All ARCO's are only debit or cash, so those of you wanting to use credit cards will have to go elsewhere. read more

I paid for my gas with cash and the pump wasn't working, so I went back inside to address this with the guy who made me the sale. This sad excuse for an employee tells me he doesn't remember me giving him money for the gas but I was literally in the store 5 minutes earlier and show him my receipt. He then calls the manager and it turns out the idiotic employee, who was clearly high as a kite, put the $80 I gave him on the wrong pump. The manager then questions me to make sure I paid for the gas and compares my receipt with a different one to make sure it matched the store location. He even went to the back to check the security cameras. In the end I eventually got my gas (which didn't even fill up my tank) and they successfully wasted a total of 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back. read more

$9 Wash actually costs $10!!! Beware I've lived just around the corner from this ARCO station for the past 14 years. I've seen a sharp demise in the level of quality as well as service over the past couple of years. Over the weekend the only thing they had to offer was 91 Octane fuel, and when I went in for a receipt (because half the time the pump does not provide one) Moe (clerk) said something about American politics, sanctions, yada yada yada. How about making sure your supply of fuel gets to the station on time. The restroom, although very convenient is dirty, and smells foul. But this brings me to this morning, and thought I'd fill my tank, and get a car wash. The LCD screen on the pump allows you to choose from 3 choices of Car Wash. $7, $8, $9. I opted for the $9. Pumped fuel, and again, had to go in to obtain my receipt with the car wash code on it. The station charged me $10! I asked the clerks, and neither one of the 2 employees were willing to help answer the question of why the difference in advertised price, and the amount paid. They stated that I should talk to Sam (not sure if he is the manager), so I tracked him down, and asked him about it.. He stated that there are numerous signs (which is true) that they offer 7, 8, and 10 dollar car washes. I stated that I understood this, but why would the pump menu give offerings for a $9 wash?? He explained to me that it USED to be $9, and that it is almost impossible for them to change the menu screen on the pump, so I should just consider that it is the "Works Wash" and the $9 portion is just the "NAME" of the wash. I agreed that they could name the wash whatever they like, but if he thought is was a good idea to put a dollar value in the name??? So, the "Works Wash $9" actually costs $10. Sam did not see any issue with this. We agreed to disagree on that point. So, I asked if I could get a $1 refund on the wash with the knowledge that the wash is indeed $10 from here on out. He flat out refused. He did offer to refund the entire $10 ( I guess there is no mechanism in place to credit a dollar, but there is to cancel an entire order). I stated that just myself alone represents $3500 on average a year ($70 a week as I driver to/from Anaheim from R. Cucamonga daily) and if he was willing to lose that business over a $1. He shook my hand and said, "Have a good day, my friend." Well, I know its just a dollar, and I know that my $3500 may not even affect them in the least, but for a station to not even be willing to settle this over $1 tells me all that I need to know about how this station is run and why there has been such a decline in the service, quality, and convienience. Bye Bye ARCO, Hello Shell (just across the street). read more

Arco - $9 Car Wash for $10? - Gas Stations Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

On my quest to better find easy on/off locations to top off with gasoline, it's always great when you find a good source that offers a abundance of amenities management continues to maintain. For what ever reasons, vandals seem to always hit air and water services by removing heads. I don't blame management when they decide to stop replacing missing equipment because the loss adds up in cost and even though by law, these services are free of charge, you can bypass a fee by requesting to have services turned on. So yeah, if you see a fee posted, it's probably because management is trying to make up losses. This location offers a full mini mart with restroom services and a ATM machine from a major bank. A brushless car wash with (3) different options and multiple islands of pumps with (3) grades of gasoline and diesel. Full air and water with vacuum services after your done running your car through a quick carwash. Property itself sits on the S/W corner of S. Highland and Day Creek rd on a large lot shared with a fast food restaurant, you know the girl in ponytails and freckles LOL. This lot is so big, you won't hit any delays trying to access or leave because a tanker truck is attempting to deliver a load of gas. If you can get past paying a additional fee of .35 cents to "british petroleum" for using a debit card, I think you're getting a good mix of gasoline despite those that swear BP sells cheap gas. If you're bypassing pumps and dealing directly with store, they have many parking stalls directly in front and more parking stalls to rear of lot. Handicap ramp with ADA designated parking. Fully automated power sliding doors which I think is a great idea and other's should follow as oppose to your standard swinging doors ready to fall off from so much foot traffic and dirty push/pull handle loaded with germs. Be on the alert for scammers with a car parked at pump trying to collect money to get home. I offered a guy $5.00 in gasoline and he refused to move his car to my pump. The mind boggles . . . . . . It was weird they can't accept credit cards in the store. I went in the store to get a drive-thru car wash, and the attendant said they can't accept credit cards (only debit) at the cashier, but he said the kiosk at the entrance of the car wash does. So I got in my car and drove into the thing and tried to use my credit card there, but it was "authorizing" for about 3 minutes. Another lady drove up behind me, so I cancelled my transaction and went back into the store. I tried to warn her that the credit card thing wasn't working but she was on the phone and wasn't looking my way. Back in the store, I just paid cash and drove back to the carwash entrance. The lady who was behind me was still there, apparently trying her credit card as well. She eventually left. Got my carwash, it was decent, as drive thru car washes go, but the dryer stopped 10 seconds before it was supposed to. Meh. So why 3 stars? Apparently while I was at the store I dropped my freaking credit card. The dude at the counter chased me almost to the street to give it back to me. That's worth 2 stars right there. Thanks! read more

Girl with dark hair working on sat the 5th at 1:09 is extremely rude. Dismissed my problems and even walked away . Never again.

This gas station is conveniently located right off the 210 freeway, and incidentally it is right across from a Shell gas station. The reason I choose Arco though is because the gas is cheaper, the only down side is that if you pay though anything other than cash they will charge you. What I really like about this gas station is their fully equipped convenient store and Chase ATM. Definitely will be back, over and over :) read more

Paid 10 dollars for a car wash because I wanted to treat my car for a much needed wash. When I drove out my car was still soaking wet, soap on the car, and still had dirt on my car. I went inside and spoke with a Middle Eastern man named Moe. He blamed the issues on me and I asked for a refund politely. He told me no and that they don't issue refunds. Today I went there after speaking to a manager saying that he would refund me my money. Once I get there I tell him the story after he calls Moe and tells me no. The manager refuses to give me my money back and claims that my car still isn't dirty. read more

GOOD: Cheap gas prices (using cash). Its a great option for those that bank with Chase Bank. You can go withdrawal cash from ATM and use cash to pay for gas. This will stop u from having to pay atm fee. There are many gas units and the convenience store has many options. BAD: I've always disliked the cash only business model but hey, it results in cheaper gas prices for us. The bathrooms are not as clean as I would like. Coffee options are sub-par compared to 7-11 UGLY: Sometimes there are young solicitors who claim to be out off gas and need money to get home. I just think they want money for drugs or alcohol as they generally look fishy. Overall: solid place for cheap but would avoid the coffee unless in a hurry. read more

I'm filing a complaint with corporate and my wife has contacted the manager. My wife and I literally go into this gas station every single day and know all of the workers there. I'm a chef at a restaurant got off work last night around 12am with my chef attire on and stopped bought a drink the total was 3 dollars and some change I then gave her 10$ and told her to keep the change and only give me the 7 dollars back. The lady then steps back and says what and holds her hands up , I then repeat myself (confused) and she then says oh I thought you said give me the money! Wow really then she at that point acts like she doesn't speak good English and surprise I'm half Mexican so that I excuse went out the window. I then ask her if she is racially profiling me and she gives this dumb ass look ! I walk out angry and confused and then the next morning talked to a manager that was no help at all and gave me the number to the store manager manny who said he will handle it today! This is unacceptable and discrimination and needs to be heard ! I've also contacted corporate read more

Cheapest gas around! Gas is $3.73 today. Across the street at shell it was almost .20 more a gallon! This location is convenient, well lit, and pretty safe for the most part. I would have given this place a 5 star, because usually all the attendants are nice and polite. However, this one incident was enough for me to give 1 star, to drag down their score. I had used their car wash system for the first time today, and of course it malfunction a few times. That along would not make me drop the score, but when I went inside to bring issue with how I waited too damn long already, and then when my car entered, the machine didn't work, forcing me to leave since no one came to help, the attendant inside was rude and blame me. I had already asked him, after he helped the guy in front, if my code would have issues now, since I already entered it. He said no. And then to blame me later. Anyway, I've written a complaint to corporate as well. So yeah, I would not use their car wash again. For gas, as long as it's anyone but that one employee, then it's fine. read more

Cheap gas for around this area, but you'll have to wait. It's usually pretty busy here since it's right off the freeway on the way to Victoria Gardens. The car wash isn't half bad here, and it's fairly cheap. They have the worst car wash around here! Paid $9 for the works wash and it left my car looking worse than when I drove in.
