I had a very disappointing experience at Conserv Fuel on Citrus in Fontana. The attendant was unnecessarily rude and, instead of helping me, chose to embarrass me in front of other customers. When I asked about purchasing lottery tickets, he loudly yelled, "Cash only for lottery tickets," in a way that felt disrespectful and intended to make me look foolish. I left the store upset and mentioned the situation to the young woman working with him, but I doubt anything will come of it. If he is the owner or management, that may explain why he felt comfortable treating customers this way. Customer service matters, especially in a local business that serves the community. On Citrus Ave. There's plenty of parking and pump stations. This place opened this past summer and still looks clean and brand new inside. Employees here are friendly. There's a large selection of food, fresh pastries and drinks. Plus, their prices for gas is even lower than competitors! read more

I came here with my girlfriend around midnight or maybe some time passed midnight awhile back, everything was normal when we walked in. There's two employees working as we entered the establishment, one mopping and another at the register. The only reason we came was to get snacks and beverages, we didn't even need gas. As we're picking out our snacks, I glanced at the guy mopping and he was staring me down HARD. After that, I make my way to look at the drink selection and all of a sudden I hear the guy mopping yell out to the cashier something along the lines of, "Remember the last guy that tried stealing in our store and what happened to him?" and then cashier responds with something snarky like, "Yeah, it would be really dumb for anyone else to try something like that again after what we did" and they just kept that going and insinuating to each other that they get violent with people who try to steal until we finally grabbed all of the items we wanted and walked up to the cashier. I didn't catch everything that was said because me and my girlfriend were just so appalled that they were doing this right now. I'm not saying I was racially profiled because I've never experienced anything like that in my life, but I am a black male and find it odd that they would think that I was planning on stealing considering I did nothing to indicate that I was planning on theft. I really felt disrespected after that and looking back on it, I'm mad that I didn't say anything to them in the moment. All I can hope is that they felt stupid after we left the establishment. I would say I'll never return, but I genuinely might just to see if i get treated so poorly again. Next time, I will gladly call it out in the moment and have video evidence of everything read more

Gas prices are great. They have a good car wash deal for $4.99. I purchased but there was about 4 cars in front of me and i waited 25 minutes and became impatient. Only 2 cars had left. Ended up backing out and leaving. Came back the next day and a big line again. I don't recommend getting the car wash from here unless you don't mind waiting. Car washes seem to take 5-10 minutes each car. Will come back for gas but not the car wash. read more
