Muhammad was training a new employee, bought some water and gum . $20 dollar bill given , $15.35 given back. I asked for receipt because none was given. I asked him were are the 2 cents . He gave them to me and said "currency is getting hard to get" I assume he talking about pennies? My question is this , is that your excuse for not giving correct change back? How long has this been happening? See I really don't give a rat ass about 2 pennies, but the mere fact that he was hustling me for 2 pennies because I was paying attention really upsets me. Today it's 2 pennies tomorrow it's what? People pay attention to your change. This is unacceptable behavior from Muhammad. The real question is giw much have they stole from hard working people. I opened the door today around 9:50 didnt saw the sign that the store was changing shift and currently closed, an old balding white guy working along side a young employee, and made a grossed out face at me, then shouted at me saying read the f... sign. Afterwards i was trying to buy some soda from the store and he was really annoyed and wanted to kick me out if the store asap. Me and my friends were literally just trying to talk in the store and he called us jerks and wanted us to leave asap, what a terrible experience, this man is so old but still hasn't learned his manners. read more

I was on my way home from work. I saw my car gas gauge with one or two bars left. I had to find the next gas station quick. Day Creek Shell came to the rescue. It's located right off the 210 Fwy at Day Creek Blvd in Rancho Cucamonga. This gas station is bright and well maintained. It has a Food Mart and Jack in the Box (JIB). I'll have to check out this JIB to get my tacos one of these days if I haven't already... I don't remember LOL. I blame it on old age LOL. Anyway, I drove right into this gas station. Went to pump #2. Got my gas and left. I normally pay at the pump whenever possible as I prefer not to go inside if I don't have to unless I need to use the restroom. I noticed gas prices here are a tad higher than other neighboring gas stations. I only pump certain brands and Shell is one of them... it's all good. Funny, I have been to this gas station on a few occasions. I never wrote a review for it until now. Go figure! read more

I accidentally locked my car keys & phone inside my car at this gas station. I was stranded and the staff refused to let me use their phone. After walking for 30 minutes in 105 degree weather, I was finally able to use a phone and return to the gas station. Upon my return, the staff appeared as if they were going to tow my car away. As a single woman alone, I was put in a very dangerous and compromising position, when a simple phone call to AAA would have helped me resolve this situation in a timely manner. read more

Night worker George is incompetent! He doesn't know the reward system doesn't know how it works nor does he care ! So I said forget the reward system I just purchased some gas I purchase $40 worth of gas went out to my car to go pump it and it's not giving me any gas he goes I go back in and he says oh there's nothing I can do. They charge your card but it'll be refunding in about 10 days you'll have to pay for more gas. Why because you didn't do your job right that's why he's incompetent. He wasted my money that night. I have to wait for. it's absolutely ridiculous. A place like this should not have a place person like that working there if he's too old to do his job correctly, then he should retire. read more

Twice now I have had a negative experience with a white haired lady that works mornings here. The first time was when she told me I put my number in too late for fuel rewards and she wasn't going to re ring up my transaction so I can save using my fuel rewards on $6/gallon gas. I went in this morning and asked her to ring me up for some energy drinks and $70 worth of gas. There was no problem until I got to the pump, selected the grade, and went to pump the gas. None came out. I walked all the way back and asked her what happened. She immediately blamed me and said I must have taken the pump and put it back on the holder which cancelled the transaction. I told her none of that occurred and that the pump is literally still in my car waiting to be turned on. She continued to accuse ME of messing up and cancelling the transaction. I told her I don't even know how to do that I'm just trying to get gas. She said nothing further and started helping other customers. Absolutely terrible customer service and I will never go back to this shell because of her not learning how to take accountability for her actions. read more

I traveled to Rancho Cucamonga on the afternoon of Saturday, July 8th from San Juan Capistrano, a very long drive. During the trip my cell phone failed and I lost GPS directions along with the ability to make a call. More than stressed, I stopped at the Highland and Day Creek Shell station for assistance. The young lady and young man behind the counter were so kind to look up directions, write them down and assist me to get to my destination without having to turn around and go home and miss a special event. I tried to give them a tip and they declined. I just want to recognize these two kind people for going above and beyond to assist this senior citizen. It is so refreshing to see kindness in action in our world. Such a positive experience and I hope the station owner will receive this praise for two of his employees. 9/12/21 came to visit my Mom who lives down the street. My car sensor said I needed air. Asked employee to turn on the air. He said he could not unless I purchase something. So Reluctantly bought gas. He was then able to give me the code? I went to the air pump and it didn't work properly and the gauge was broken. Shell needs to have better service. The gas pump area isn't as spacious as most stations, but there are plenty of amenities, including a convenience store for all of your road-trip items, a drive-thru Jack in the Box for a hot meal, and a check-cashing service for your monetary needs.
