This Thai place had solid flavors and a clean spacious dining area. But the food is really not worth what you pay. Portion sizes were very small for the price. The steamed dumplings tasted great but there were only 4 tiny dumplings and it cost $8. (Most places I go serve six dumplings for $5 or $6). Pork pad Thai was average. The mango with sticky rice dessert was a joke, mango was not ripe and the amounts of rice served was about 3 tablespoons (cooked!). So good. I suggest coming early for dinner. Came at 7pm and waited about 20 minutes. Place got more crowded as night went on. I only wish they had bigger wine variety. Only one white and one red. And they won't serve you alcohol while you wait. Some silly Utah law. read more

The food was good and they have tofu options on their menu, which is awesome! The only reason I gave it a 3 stars because when we arrived at the restaurant we waited so long until they showed us to our seats. There were 3 of us who came here on a Sunday, but they only have 1 waitress. There were also 3 people in a group waiting before us... I asked the waitress if we wait to be seated she said "yes" but she never came back to help us. We waited for 10 mins. until someone showed us to our seats. This is authentic Thai, so vegans should be aware there are choices here, but not much (as with most Thai). If you request a dish without fish sauce they can guide you to two or three options. If you are okay with fish sauce there are many vegetarian choices. They seem knowledgeable about the menu & are willing to help if you ask. Nice atmosphere, wonderful service. read more

This is the perfect restaurant to stop in after visiting Arches National Park. Moab is a cool town and this place fits in really well. I had their fried tofu as an appetizer and the panang curry with tofu as an entree. The latter was the best I've ever tasted. Really. No joke. Stop here. You won't be disappointed. Solid service. Food was really good and authentic! The restaurant is still new so there were not much artwork and decor around but it was nice and spacious. However, they definitely need more workers. The service was extremely slow. People were waiting around for a long time when there were 3-4 tables empty that they could've seated. We waited forever for our food and just to even get a check. The people were nice but you can tell they were working way too hard. I have a feeling there's only one chef at the rate the food was coming out. Was in Moab in May and loved loved loved this place! Just got back from Thailand last month and Arches Thai food was as good as anything we ate in Thailand on our 10 day trip. I had Pad See Ew and it was incredible, the perfect amount of flavor and the right amount of heat. This was our first time in Moab and given the restaurant wasteland that we experienced the day prior in Bryce Canyon, our expectations were low. But in any location, Arches Thai has great food and friendly service. Their curries have wonderful depth and the proteins tasted very fresh. Decor definitely more Western than Thai but not unpleasant at all. Big bonus is that it's next door to the Tesla Supercharger. We came in for lunch after visiting arches. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived. Im usually a person who has low standards when it comes to service but our waitress was so rude that I'm compelled to write this one star review. The food was decent. Typical Thai place that's not too authentic but tries to sell it as though they are. However their food is good enough that I'd come back again. Our waiter was horrible. We came in as a party of 3 and ordered 2 dishes as my mom is a tiny eater. As soon as we told our waitress that we were only getting 2 dishes, she snapped at us rudely saying "only 2 dishes?!". I chose to forget about that incident and brushed it off as a misunderstanding. I am also able to see past that our waters were left empty our entire stay at the restaurant because to be fair they only had 2 waiters on deck. The incident that compelled me to write this one star review was when we asked for the check. Our server added a 18% "gratuity" for herself on the hand written bill. The gratuity part of the bill looked really sketchy as it was whited out. I then asked her how big a party has to be before a "gratuity" fee was charged she said everyone gets charged that fee no matter the party size. I felt ROBBED. I initially intended to pay 15% and be done with it but after all the abuse and mistreatment I've received for garbage service and mediocre food, I was forced to pay 18%, a premium? If you enjoy paying for abuse, I highly recommend this place. read more

Coming from Washington DC where there are more than a heaping handful of Thai restaurants and many Asian fusion cuisines- I was blown away by the glaciers and dish consistencies from Archies Thai. I highly recommend the wide noodles and don't worry the medium spice isn't too much! Arches simply isn't worth the wait when you can be seated, have what you want, and served in a timely manner over at Bangkok. Reasons I liked the taste of Bangkok better? the food here is delicious! exquisite flavor and unique appearances. the restaurant itself is nice and compliments the flurry of colors presented in the food nicely. however, once you walk to the back it seems like a totally new restaurant with a different design and a low brow appearance compared to the public part of the restaurant. price wise it is decently expensive, not too bad not too good either. Ordered take out while visiting Moab and was thrilled with the flavor and quality of the food. We had pad thai, spring rolls, gozas and green curry and I was so impressed. You could feel the love that went into each dish through a decorative carrot that looked like a flower, the curry was loaded with vegetables, including the most delicious eggplant i've ever tasted, and the pad thai didn't cut any corners, tons of peanuts and bean sprouts. This restaurant was really, really good. During a 2 week road trip we had tried to get Thai food 3 times and failed, in what was sadly becoming a seemingly insurmountable challenge. All we wanted was Pad Thai and we were being denied left and right! But lo and behold, a 5 minute walk from our hotel, was this awesome place! We had a 30 minute wait for dinner, which after our epic quest for Thai food felt like a price we were willing to pay. The waitstaff is awesome - you can tell everyone is working their butts off. We had the Golden Tofu and the Garden Rolls, which were both really good. I had the Pad Thai and it was everything I had been waiting for! Well my husband and I were in Moab for a few days and decided to eat Thai food. We were very happy to see they had Pho on the menu. We had the chicken Pho and it was so delicious, probably the best we have had(in the states) and we try pho wherever we go. We also tried the Tom Yum the next day and while it was good, did not compare to the pho. Too many pieces of herbs, etc (lemongrass, ginger? In the broth . If you're looking for thia food they give this place a try while in Moab. Service was quick and we orders the lunch special there came with small soup, entre and a wonton with cream cheese. This cream cheese Winton is not authentic. I ordered the chicken with vegetables. My chicken was a bit bland. Maybe I should've orders then Pad Thai or curry. read more
