They probably should have said so immediately and not have taken so much time to complete the job or offer to help move boxes around when they noticed there was still some time left. They both also lingered after to converse with me, both of them shook my hand and asked me to keep them in mind for future moves. Clearly, no one was flirting with anyone and no one felt uncomfortable. Joe, you just don't know how to act professionally. Update: After a rude message from their manager, Joe, implying the damage to the stuff they moved was possibly my fault, I have to lower their star rating. It's not as if I was requesting compensation for the damage, I just wanted to leave an honest review and still he felt the need to act combatively. When the first moving company I hired failed to confirm their services 48 hours before the move date I was forced to call around to find another company who could do the job on short notice. Well Move You 4 Less stepped up and they even showed up 30 minutes early. Which I appreciated because I wasn't forced to wait around. However, I can't honestly say that all of my belongings made it to my new place in one piece. Some items were damaged and because of that I cannot, in good conscience, leave them 5 stars. They were professional and worked quickly.

Plus you can provide the truck or they can. They arrived, surveyed the apartment and got to work, how they managed to fit everything into that truck I will never know but they did! And really fast too! They made sure to wrap up out delicate furniture and make sure our glass doors were safe. Brought our stuff up to the 2nd floor (at no extra charge!) and put it just where we wanted it. They were a third of the cost of a large moving company!! And very funny and polite, really really great guys! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great moving service at a great price. Thanks guys!!!

They took 4 hours on a two hour job. I caught them taking smoking breaks in the truck where my items were. I asked the lady on the phone to inform me of everything I need to know so I'm not surprised by any hidden fees. She left out the part that they charge $25 extra to move your tv if you don't have the box. They damaged my bookshelf, and made my ottoman dirty. When I told the so called highly professional mover that I was not informed about the tv extra charge his coworker said loudly to the other co worker she's being a B****. I was told there was going to be 3 movers but the 3rd mover showed up 30 minutes late. They took their time wrapping all my items I strongly felt that that was on purpose. I ended up paying 2 times more then what I was quoted. I ended up helping them because I could not afford to pay anymore extra money. When I helped them they moved a lot faster. When it was time to drive to my new place they took a longer route. My GPS said the fast route was an 8 minute drive the route they took was 16 minutes I followed them. I've been trying to call and text the lady in the office who upon booking was very responsive and friendly and now won't respond to my texts or calls which is very disappointing. I've never been the type of person to write a bad review if I had a bad experience I just simply won't use that service again or visit the place again but this I just had to write a review because of them not responding back to me.

Moving is stressful for everyone and of course as a client we are worried about our things and the costs of everything but it's no reason to be rude to the people who are literally making the move happen. Yes, with any moving company there are fees that come up and in order for them to move your stuff without breaking it, they will use tape and plastic wrap that THEY purchase to ensure your things don't get damaged and then they add the cost to your bill, just like ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY. On the day of the move the movers arrived a little late but it didn't bother me, my move was scheduled for 9-11 and they arrived at 930 and still I was out by 11, I had a 1 bedroom apt on the 4th flr. My entire move was done by noon!!!! Clearly this difference made a huge difference though I'm not sure why. Setting up and arranging was easy, they were polite and provided a great quote of $650 for 3 men for 5 hours of move of a 2 bedroom. This sounds great to me and I book. Day of move goes okay however they took a very slow time moving things downstairs, acted surprised I had a flight of stairs when I told them multiple times in the arrangements, and dropped several things one being an inherited framed tapestry from my grandmother. This would all be fine except when we got to my new location they were clearly exhausted (2 of them are not in "moving guys shape") and almost irritated they had to finish the job. Like...that's literally what I am hiring the service for. However, what really tipped the scales was by the end, because it took them 2 hours longer than anticipated they doubled the price to a bit over $1200 and then had the audacity to ask if I was going to tip! I was, and had the money ready but how dare you flat out ask for it! To add insult to injury after they left and I tipped I found the broken tapestry. Additionally, they put heavy boxes on breakables and though I inventoried and labeled each box with the room it should go in they threw them literally in the almost opposite direction. The littlest mover, was the best. He was friendly, professional and darn strong for being so small. He worked his butt off and if I could've given everything to him I would have. Asking them about the tapestry I inquired if I should go through my insurance or theirs. They suggested theirs and then led me on a goose chase for a week before reverting back and saying I should go through my own insurance. For the fact that I didn't really save any money here by going with Crescent I would say absolutely choose another vendor.

This review isn't so much about the men who picked up and delivered our items (they were great) but…read moreabout the management and owner of the company. We were moving from Illinois to South Carolina. We closed on the house on June 29th and notified Maria of this. Because we are moving so far, we asked them to give us a 4-5 day notice so we had time to get there, get hotel rooms along the way, in order to make sure we would be at the new house. We put down July 4th as our first available date. We heard nothing from the Moving Crew so we started calling asking for not a specific delivery date but for which week they were planning on coming so we could make arrangements on our part. Anything of value, such as jewelry and keepsakes, we moved ourselves but needed to rent a U Haul to get everything to SC which was another reason we needed a little advance notice. Despite numerous calls, Maria was unable to help. The Moving Crew had until July 16th to get our stuff to us per our contract. Finally, that week we headed down, secured hotel rooms on the way as well as a hotel to stay in at the new location. We kept being told that they had no information and Maria would call us back. She never did, despite several promises to do so on their end. On Tuesday, July 14th, we called again and were told that they were going to pack the truck on Wednesday and would call us to let us know if they would be here Thursday or Friday of that week. No one called as was the norm evidentally. On Wednesday, we reached out again and Maria said that the driver was suppose to have called us which of course he didn't. Because we were given the impression that Friday was the most liely delivery date, we had to extend our hotel stay one more day. At 5:30pm that same Wednesday, we received a call from the driver saying that they would be there in an hour! We rushed over there and the 2 men arrived at 6:30. We suggested that they unload the following morning but they wanted to do it that night which went well past midnight. I've heard of people moving out in the middle of the night but not moving in. The driver also told us that this was an unexpected trip for him as he was scheduled to make a delivery to Texas but was told to deliver our items instead. All of our boxes were marked as to what room to put them in, but as the time got later and later, boxed were just put anywhere. In addition, Moving Crew combined small boxes into large moving boxes of their own so items items were all mixed up. It took 5 days to find our silverware for example. Then, there were a few damaged items but 2 large ladders were missing. Again, we called Maria on Thursday, July 16th and informed her of the missing items, She said she would check with the driver and call us back. Well, it's been a week and we have heard nothing. We are working on filing an insurance claim with Safe Ship which I also do not recommend. I hate leaving negative reviews but we paid over $10,000 for this move but when you cannot have a call returned or dates narrowed down, I had no choice. Their customer service was terrible. I would have rated them one star but the men who picked up our items were very careful & efficient. I also didn't like that the head of the crew at pick-up, when we gave them a tip, asked us to put down a smaller amount on the document, I'm assuming for tax purposes. Maybe Maria thinks we only gave them $100 and that's why we couldn't get any assistance? I have no idea.
