Yesterday, Archer's helped me move to my new place. My scheduled time was at 1:30pm. The driver called around 11am to see if I would ok with them coming early and they told me an approximate time they would be there. A crew of 3 arrived at 12:06pm. I showed them around and told them which pieces where coming. They got straight to work. Everything was wrapped up nicely. Boy, they are super quick! It took them about 45 minutes. We then headed to my new place. I showed them the doors they could use to unload everything and what I envisioned. They got right to work. Again, they were super fast! While two of the guys were finishing up putting my bedroom together, one guy was going over the contract and collected payment. They let me look around the place to make sure everything looked good before they left. Amazing service from start to finish! The move only took less than 3 hours to complete (including some slight traffic getting to my new place). The guys were super friendly they provided some good recommendations on how things should be placed. read more

I've never written a review for a company I didn't even hire! But they're worth it. They were recommended by a coworker as a great moving company for my 1 way long distance move. After reviewing every item they cost was fair but I realized I needed to just rent my own truck to save money. I have no doubt they would've been excellent. Then Sean Archer called me to offer advice on doing it myself. How to load the truck and strap the items. Even what to look for in hiring guys to load the truck. Just so nice! If I had the money or this was company paid I'd hire them in an instant! It's really hard to find decent companies in the moving industry on your own. read more

We have used Archers 3 times so far. Once to move our 1 bedroom apartment and 2 times to remove large furniture items(They work with some donation centers that will take your couch or coffee table). In all 3 instances they provided effecient service while also being personable and timely. For our full move they actually beat the time estimate by almost a full hour which meant less money for us to spend. I can't really ask for anything else from a mover. We are moving out of state and I wish we would have checked if they did long distance jobs(they do!). I would have felt much more comfortable with their services for this cross country haul. read more

The 5 stars came after the move: I used Archer's Moving on 5/2/2020. Long story short, the guys were professional but took entirely too long loading my studio apt furniture onto the truck. They moved the furniture into the new apt fairly quickly. A move that was quoted for 2-1/2 - 3hrs took about 5 and some change. Now the reason for 5 stars: I was upset about the moving process so my next step was to call the company and then write a review. Before I could get to it the owner Sean called me. He asked about my concerns with the efficiency of the move and was reasonable enough to reimburse some of the cost. He let me know they were fairly new in business and he is identifying thestrengths and areas for improvement.Their customer service follow up game is I would recommend Archer's and I'm likely going to use them again myself. read more

Whenever someone asks you "How was your move?" They are usually bracing themselves for some horror story that reminds them that they may as well live in their home forever and ever. This is along the lines of what my department VP said when she asked about my moving experience on 5/17. Imagine her and all of my colleagues surprise when my response was "It was an awesome experience made that way by Archer Movers!" Sean, Jade and Fernando were AMAZING!! The arrived early(thank you!), assessed the situation, broke down my bed frame for me, and moved no less than 70 boxes from a third floor traditional walk up in less than three hours. Less than 6 hours after arrival, they moved ALL these boxes, two queen beds, two desks, AND an elliptical machine into my new home. They did it all with smiles and joy--even though my buddy Fernando had a few spills to boot. Did I mention it was POURING DOWN RAINING while this was happening?!?!? Hire. Them. I originally left a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review because my TV was damaged but the service was otherwise perfect and they offered to repair the TV. Sadly, my experience since then has been terrible. It's been 4 months and my TV is still not repaired, which is disappointing, but is not why I'm changing my review. I'm changing my review because I have been lied to and strung along almost this entire time. I won't leave names here, but most of this communication has been with one person via text/phone. Timeline of events: June 1st - My TV is damaged in the move (the attached stand was broken). They apologize and offer to repair it. I provide the model number so they can order the part. I'm not at all angry and tell them I understand it was an accident. June 9th - They tell me the part was ordered and will arrive on June 18th. I acknowledge and thank them. June 15th - The part arrives and they offer to stop by to install it that day. They stop by, but it is the wrong part and they say they will have to order a new one. July 22nd (OVER A MONTH LATER) - I have to reach out because they haven't contacted me since they stopped by with the wrong part. I get no immediate response. July 23rd - They tell me the part should be arriving that Saturday. August 19th (NEARLY A MONTH LATER) - I still haven't heard from them so I call and am told that the part arrived a week prior and someone should have already stopped by to replace it. When I say nobody has stopped by, they say they will look into it and call me right back; not surprisingly, they did not call me "right back". August 20th - They are now saying they are having trouble ordering the part, which tells me they lied the prior two times we spoke when they said the part had been ordered/delivered. They say it will be another week or two and offer a table top TV stand instead, which I decline. I tell them I just want to fix the TV myself at this point and ask them where they ordered the part from. They do not respond. October 3rd (OVER A MONTH LATER) - Still no response. Still a broken TV. Now I'm wondering if they really even ordered the part since they won't or can't tell me where they ordered it from. Really disappointing. If they had just been honest and said they wouldn't be able to replace the part, I would have understood. I don't even want anything from them at this point, I just want people to know what kind of experience I've had. read more

Fantastic service! My husband requested a quote for a last minute move, and within minutes of speaking with Jade she had a quote emailed to us. On the day of the move she, Sean, Edgar and Stevie all showed up and got 175 sq ft of storage emptied in about 90 minutes, and when their truck arrived at our new apartment it wasn't long for all of our belongings to be inside. I called approximately 15 moving companies that didn't have availability before I came across Archer movers. They were able to solidify my move, that was less than one week away. The movers, Jose, Eric and Amir(sorry if I got that wrong), showed up on time and made it their personal mission to pack up the truck as quickly and efficiently as possible. Ok so let me start by saying this was last minute request and they were so nice for my request! I literally booked them a day before and it was ok! They arrived fast, and called me before! My load didn't not take 2 hours, but they opened all my furniture and threw the packing away because I had them for 2 hours. They were so nice and prompt! I recommend them! I only needed help unloading the truck and they asked questions and put things where they belong! I would use them again! They also recommended me other services I needed! We contacted Archer's to move a large butcher block. They moved the block well and delivered it. Sean, the owner (?) was driving the truck. As they went through the gates to my house I saw him stop the truck, back up slightly and swing the truck slightly wider to drive through the gate. A few hours later I took the trash cans to the end of the driveway. No vehicles had gone through the gates since Archer's had been through them. The gates were damaged and one of the pistons had been broken off and was leaking on the ground. We left a message on their voicemail 3 business days after the delivery and a note through their website. After several days and attempts we finally reached Sean who admitted he was the driver, stopped and backed up the truck to go through the gates (claiming he wanted to see if he should shut them as he entered) but denied causing the damage. He refused to contact his insurance company about the accident. read more

He is meticulously efficient guy and aware of action items to keep a 170+ unit condo running smoothly amid a multitude of people in and out. I didn't even bother to get a second quote due to his confidence in Archer's. As expected, this company exceeded all expectations during my out-of-state move on June 23-24, 2020. Although I did harbor a bit of hesitation initially when learning a husband and wife team were going to move all my stuff. Jade is stronger than she looks, though! And handy with tools when reassembling furniture. These people are professional, receptive and not that it necessarily has anything to do with work quality-very NICE and caring folks.
