This company is run by emotionally immature children. Maybe they do good work (electricians and generator companies are a dime a dozen in Houston) but the woman running the customer service for the company is extremely immature and overly emotional. I asked for a generator quote for a Kohler generator, very simple. They responded back and said immediately and unprompted "we are not the cheapest." I said ok just give me a quote (since I'm getting several.) They responded back and said they hoped to have a quote in 1-2 days. No problem. Well fast forward over a week (and I had to re ask them for the quote while waiting.) I get an outrageously expensive quote (significantly higher than any other quotes I've received) and it's for a Generac, not a Kohler. On top of that I had liked the page and witnessed them CONSTANTLY blasting and getting into drama with anyone who leaves them an unfavorable review or does anything they deem unfavorable. I've always been put off by companies who engage in constant drama in the public eye. Says alot. If you're confident in your work you'll let that do the talking. Anyways, I told them about the error and was met with excuses about how busy they are. EVERYONE who deals with generators in Houston currently is I mentioned I was unhappy with the delays, the mistakes and the constant drama I was witnessing and they immediately removed me from their list. Ok great. There are literally hundreds of generator companies with amazing reviews selling the same products with great track records who don't argue back and forth on Facebook with their customers. The immature drama and back and forth they engage in just makes me lose all faith in them as a company. None of that is remotely necessary. Not to mention they are over charging in a time of high stress and peril for most who dealt with the extended power outages in the Houston area. I've also seen on other reviews they threaten to sue you for leaving negative reviews. Who does that!!?? I don't wish ill will against them just sharing my experience to hopefully save someone else my headache. read more

Arc is extremely helpful and responsive on the sales side of the deal. But after your generator is installed, good luck getting in touch with them ever again to service your generator or answer any questions. Tina does not return calls and her mailbox is full. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Arc Electric. They were easy to schedule with and the attention to detail that their technicians apply to jobs is outstanding. Armando did such a meticulous job with installing our Gemstone permanent Christmas lights. We've had so many compliments from our neighbors and our kids love that we can change the colors, speed of the lights, etc. Arc Electric also installed our new chandelier in our 2-story foyer. They used a lift, made sure to not damage our wood floors and left the install very clean and symmetrical. I highly recommend their services. Hired them in October of 2024. Paid their fee that would either be applied to my balance if we worked together (within 30 days) or paid for "their time." I called twice before the appointment to reschedule, nobody called me back, but I did leave two messages for Elizabeth. They came, did their walk through. Two weeks passed, nothing. Called, left a voicemail for Elizabeth, nothing in return. A week passed, no estimate, no call, no work. I called again, left another voicemail, they said I CANNOT speak to anyone else. I asked if this women is even in the office or are they lying. Left a voicemail AGAIN, sent an email demanding a refund because 1.)they did not send an estimate and 2.)they never returned my call to answer why they hadn't sent anything and 3.)it could no longer be applied to any balance because the 30 days was already approaching. Got a text that said "we will refund you. not sure what happened, but I will find out." Ghosted, for another 3 weeks. CALLED AGAIN . Elizabeth not available, left a voicemail, never returned-- AGAIN. By December I had called NINE TIMES and left 6 voicemails. I was never refunded, I was never called back, I was never sent an estimate and they never completed any work. I've been using this great, family owned and operated business since 2020 for numerous projects. Most recently, they installed a whole house generator. They began work less than a week after we agreed on pricing. They showed up yesterday with 2 plumbers to install gas piping, and 5 electricians, including Armando, the owner. They completed their work in one day. Very organized and efficient. They have it down to a science. Straight shooters. No surprises. Very neat and clean at a fair price. I needed them on short notice twice for installing ceiling fans and running Network cable and adding electrical outlet above a fireplace. They came a second time to rewire a dryer. They did a great job both times. They work safely and quickly. Very polite, knowledgeable, on time, and the work done exactly as promised. While they were here, I found out my son was in a jam and needed some electrical work done right away, so they took care of that immediately which helped a lot. Great people. Typical that a business would say they've never serviced me as an excuse. My Yelp profile doesn't "scream" who I am, by design. But this company, instead of inquiring or trying to fix their blunders they just say, "It wasn't us." This mentality is why I'd stay away from Arc. I had another electrician come out to look at the issue since Arc was so horrible. The other electrician found the issue in 10 minutes, fixed it in an hour (after going to get a part), and charged me $60. read more
