Will never use again and wouldn't recommend. Scheduled appointment after my ther-mostat screen went blank and wouldn't respond. Technician arrived and said the dis-connect for the furnace in the attic needed to be replaced, but he didn't have one in his truck and would have to run into town to get one. Couple of hours later he came back and installed the fuse box, but that didn't do anything. Then he said the capacitor needed to be changed, so he changed that. Total bill came to $556, which is ridicu-lous. I was charged 3 hours labor, 2 of which were for him going into town to get a part. BTW, there's a Home Depot 15 mins. from my house where he could have pur-chased one for less than $20 (he charged me $109.25). He said the furnace wasn't wired correctly, but he couldn't rewire it so he said he disconnected one of the heating elements. He said I would still have heat, but not full heat until the other heat-ing element was reconnected. Today, when I turned on the heater, there was no heat. I was just refused service after being upset someone other than the technician I hired to do the job showed up at my home. I was told I was hostile, the person sent was fearful, afraid I may not pay them or do something worse. The person sent to do this job also showed up when I as I received text they were on their way. I do not mind Wrigth AC not doing the work but I do mind being accused of being hostile and possisbly doing harm to someone. This is not professional. Had it been conveyed to me the person I hired would not be performing the job I would have been fine. I have spent a $1000 over the past 3 weeks with this company to find out I need to spend additional monies, set aside a day for this to be done and now it is not. My mother had Wright AC come out to fix her AC unit several years ago. They didn't properly size her home (not sure they sized it at all) and sold her a $7k unit for a 700 square foot townhome. The AC unit needed in her townhome should've cost $5k. I know this because my father-in-law is an HVAC contractor and let us know this after the fact. Considering we overpaid for this new unit you'd think it would have actually worked but we've now spent almost $3k to fix issues we've had with it, including leaking, completely replacing the compressor and now another leak. We have had to use a different company for all of these repairs because the owner did absolutely nothing to rectify it when my husband called to speak with him. After my experience with this company and feeling that my mom was totally taken advantage of and still having to deal with their faulty unit, I do NOT recommend Wright AC. read more

I hired this company to change out my a/c system for a Trane system. I found out later that they installed the cheapest equipment available [contractor grade]. The system only lasted 3 years before the condenser unit failed. The parts were covered by the company, however the labor to install would be over $1000. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

If you need an honest fair and reputable company for your AC and Heating needs, then Willie of Wright AC is your man. We had been given the run around by AHS the home warranty company after they had sent out two AC technicians. One of them wanted to replace old equipment that although not high efficiency, was still working. The second one, was only interested in quoting us to replace two systems. Willie came out and spent about an hour inspecting the system, showing me what he was doing and explaining everything to me. When he came out of the attic he already had one system working and blowing cold air. He gave us options to repair the existing equipment and options to replace part of the systems or all of the systems. Remember these systems in houses are split systems with half of the unit outside and the other half in the attic. It is not always necessary to replace all components to get yourself up and running. We elected to replace half of the units with a huge savings over what the Warranty company man wanted to charge. This will be the second system he has installed for me as he installed a complete heat pump system for me two years ago, that has worked great ever since. I highly recommend them to anyone needing an AC repair company. read more
