It was a quick easy stop while I was on my way home from the Winter Garden area this weekend. They specialize in fresh baked Tigelle sandwiches which is an Italian flatbread. As someone who is watching my carb intake, I really like this thin, light bread. So far, I've tried the Bella Vita and the Picante (spicy) sandwiches. Both are amazing! They use super fresh Italian ingredients like soppressata, mozzarella, mortadella, prosciutto di parma, burrata, and pesto. The to-go packaging for their sandwiches is also on point. They have the cutest little yellow boxes and it's like unboxing a present. One of my absolute favorite things on the menu is their pistachio tiramisu dessert. It's probably one of the best desserts I've ever! I would drive here just for this alone. A MUST! The staff are all super friendly and happy to offer suggestions. Gabriel was so kind and I learned that he's actually from Italy. The cafe itself is small and cozy with some additional outdoor seating. It's a mix of spring greens with corn kernels, black beans, tortilla strips, and a jalapeño avocado ranch dressing. I did opt to put chicken on mine so that does increase the price a little bit because you do have to pay for protein. Overall, the salad was really good very fresh and the chicken definitely tasted like it was cooked fresh as well. I will say the bathroom situation is a little odd as they are unisex bathrooms, but there are only two of them in the building. One of them each time I went up to try to use the restroom was consistently locked, so I'm not sure if it was out of order but it was locked each time I went up. On a busy day - having just two bathroom stalls seems like a design flaw. My biggest complaint is the parking situation. The small strip mall has not only this location but a coffee shop and a tea shop in it as well as a Pilates studio and the parking lot is just simply too small to support all of that business. I ended up parking on the side street because it was so much easier versus trying to fight to find a parking spot.

With fall officially here (and the new seasonal drinks calling my name), it was the perfect excuse to finally stop in and get into the autumn spirit. Foxtail Coffee is tucked into a lovely spot in Bridgewater, right near Bridgewater Middle School and Keene's Crossing Elementary. The area itself is charming -- complete with a great park for kids and pups of all sizes. The plaza has everything from ice cream and pizza to nails and even a dentist (though I'd recommend coffee before the dentist chair). The shop itself is small but mighty. Inside seating is limited, but they make up for it with a cozy outdoor patio that fits the neighborhood vibe perfectly. The menu has plenty of coffee classics, seasonal specialties, and even some light breakfast options. Service was excellent -- the assistant manager was super friendly and even made sure I got my reward points. I'm a sucker for a good rewards app, and Foxtail's definitely hits the spot. For drinks, I went with the Maple Pancake Latte (iced) -- sweet, cozy, and fall in a cup. My wife ordered the Vanilla Cream Cold Brew with Cold Foam, which was smooth, creamy, and equally delicious.
