The burger was well made with good flavor, and the fries came out crispy and salted just right. The service was friendly and pretty quick considering it was fairly busy. The staff got the order correct and made sure everything was good before we left, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself was clean and had a comfortable, casual fast food atmosphere. It's a good stop if you're looking for a reliable burger meal without a long wait. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait was a little longer than expected during peak time, but overall still a great visit and I'd definitely come back again.

For the price, it was a decent amount of food, but overall the meal was just okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. The food was pretty average and, honestly, I thought Taco Bell was better. The chips and cheese were probably my favorite part of the meal. It was worth trying, especially for the price, but based on this visit, I don't think we'd choose Taco John's over Taco Bell next time.

They bring your food to the table so you don't have to wait around up front. While we were there, they were wiping down the tables so everything was very clean. I know that should be the standard, but so often in fast food places, the tables rarely get cleaned. Kudos to this Captain D's location/employees that made it an easier travel day.

The burrito had to be thrown out: the tortilla was ripped all to pieces and the food was completely cold, the eggs wasn't even completely cooked. I was afraid I would get food poisoning.
