We were traveling through town and were so happy to see a Captain D's here. We don't have them in our city (although we've stopped once in a different city) and my husband doesn't eat meat, so it was a welcome sight. It was a Sunday, so there was an $8 special that included 10 fried shrimp, and 2 sides for seniors! I chose a baked potato, and freshly steamed broccoli. It came with 2 hush puppies and a drink, and you get all the condiments you'd need for this. The gentlemen working were patient with us and enthusiastic, describing how the chain is expanding. They bring your food to the table so you don't have to wait around up front. While we were there, they were wiping down the tables so everything was very clean. I know that should be the standard, but so often in fast food places, the tables rarely get cleaned. Kudos to this Captain D's location/employees that made it an easier travel day. read more

Honey, they shrink the fish. Ordered fish and got pencils instead. After a long day you just want to enjoy a nice meal but guess it wasn't in the cards today. read more

Tried to eat here but no one acknowledged me for about 2 minutes. They were out of what I wanted and instead of a simple substitution, wanted me to pay $5 more to get something I really didn't want. Ended up going to Zaxby's instead because the manager was so rude. By the way, it was lunchtime and there was only 1 other patron in the whole restaurant. The frustration shown to the customer by several staff members was stunning. First, they told me my credit card was not working - but it worked at the gas station 1/4 mike away. Next, they said the machine told me I owed them $0.12; not sure how to respond at this point. After several attempts with a manager's master keycard, they processed the transaction. Just called the restaurant talked to the Manager stated I ordered a Seafood Feast That the fish was over cooked and the crab was also over cooked alm to the point of burnt. I was told Ed he could realized the crab could understand that but the fish he could not understand the fish being that way. My wife and I tried to eat at the White House Captain D's and was very upset with the food, service, and the way we were treated. My wife had ordered a baked potato and the server gave her 1 very small butter we asked the counter person if we could have another one and with a dirty look she gave us another one. when we had set down I noticed my fries were old and cold so I went back to the counter told the counter person my fries were cold and she asked for fresh fries and I also asked for another butter and she turned around and told me that she gave me more than she was allowed. I told her that she could charge me for more that 2 butters were not enough for the size of the potato. I said can I make a suggest something she said sure. What I said was if you guys are going to limit how many condiments that some one could have then post a sign so the customer would know because my wife would not have ordered the potato if she knew she would not have enough butter for her potato. She went nuts ran to the back of the restaurant yelling at the manager telling them that there is a very rude customer out in the lobby and he had to deal with it. He came out telling me that they are short on supplies and waiting on a truck and he was being conservative. I told him I understand but it would have been nice to know that before we ordered our food. He then told me that a customer just came to the drive through and wanted 8 tarter sauces for 2 pc fish dinner and wanted to know what he should have done about that I said charge him for it and I guess he likes tarter sauce. I also told him that's not my problem and it looks like I have my own issues. I'm not going to lie it did get tense and heated. The manger was one of the worst I have ever had to deal with very rude and told us to never come back. This all started over a butter and I was very nice and it did not end up that way. We will never be back to this office this loser of a Manager should be removed or something, but I guess due to the way the world is that a warm body is better than nobody and we are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. What a shame to go through all of this over a butter. I have since called the main office and I am trying to get someone's attention. If you don't believe me read some of the other reviews. Fish tasted good but the breading was sooooo greasy. Be sure to ask for a load of napkins to put your fish on the help drain out the grease.

I just went through their drive thru tonight in White House and there was a sign stating the wait time may be longer than normal due to being short staffed (as with most restaurants right now). I just wanted to give props to the store and the employees. There was a line when I got there. The girl on the speaker was very polite and happy in her tone. The line moved very quickly and the staff was very friendly at the window. I was extremely pleased with my experience tonight. The food was fresh as usual and I have zero complaints. I'm very pleased with my choice for dinner tonight and will be back very soon! Thank you for stepping up and working in a time when most people don't want to work. read more

Worst Captain D's I have ever been at. Every time I go it's always something. Wrong orders or waiting 20 min for my order. These things have happen multiple times. The last visit tops them all. Go to get a chicken dinner from them and they tell me no chicken. This is the worst managed Captain D's ever. Keep it up you will close as fast as you opened!! read more

Stopped to pick up supper 09/10/21, the wait was ridiculous, 40 minutes!! They were not doing grilled food and you could only have one sauce, bc there is a nationwide shortage!! Every time I stop here they get the orders so screwed up and I get screwed out of food I pay for!! I order a kids chicken strips w/ okra and corn, she said that comes with one side and a drink! I replied I know I want okra a side of corn and No drink! I got chicken, fries and corn! Next order deluxe seafood plate okra and fries, guess what it was right! Next 15 count shrimp with broccoli and coleslaw, I got broccoli but No coleslaw. They are a damn joke I don't know why I keep going there. On yes my grandson always wants red fish! FYI the drive thru line was all the way to 76 no room for anymore to pull in. Ordered a shrim skewer, didn't get it in my meal.. called and spoke with a manager about it. Came back two days later and gave his name and asked for the skewer. I was even going to buy another skewer meal.. but was treated like a liar. Save your money. LISA the night manager is very very rude and has very poor coustomer service. WILL NOT BE BACK. As a customer (who also works in food service) UP YOUR COUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS. If I hadn't paid for my meal the first time I wouldnt have known the manager on duties name!!!!
