    Taco John's.

Putting this up front: I Freaking Love Taco John's. In a world where Taco Bell is the king of fast food Mexican, and as much as I love Taco Bell, it's nice to have options that aren't Taco Bell. (that's the last time I'll reference Taco Bell). The thing is, we don't have Taco John's in Louisville, so when I get Taco John's, you can be sure I'm going to get it. I'd been by this location on numerous trips between Louisville and Brentwood, but the timing was never such that I could visit. This time I planned for it. Located at the end of the Love's Travel Stop, I could tell Taco John's was relatively new when I walked in the door. It had a new, updated feel compared to the rest of Love's. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with "HELLO, and welcome to Taco John's!". (A great way to start my visit.) The first thing I noticed was how amazingly clean and bright this restaurant was. I've been in easily over a dozen locations and they all felt...lived in, so to speak. This place sparkles, it's so clean. Very white with red accent colours. There was actually someone on a ladder cleaning a wall when I walked in, it's that clean. I love the menu options at Taco John's. The tots Potato Olés® are a nice touch that's not exactly fries but still, in a round about way, are fries, are different from just about any other fast food Mexican. The Taco Bravo is my favorite menu item, but to be honest I've never had anything that wasn't awesome. It went like this: -Order food and pay. -Take drink cup to drink machine. -Fill drink cup with ice and Dr. Pepper®. -*FOOD DELIVERY* -Put lid on Dr. Pepper® -Eat food Seriously, it was that fast. The food was hot and accurate, the staff was great (they even joked around with me!), and the restaurant was amazingly clean. Now that I've finally made it to this location I can't wait to go back.

We love this place! It's become a regular stop when we travel!! They have chicken quesadilla tacos, a nice chipotle sauce, plenty of options for lunch or breakfast! Recommended stop for sure! We eat at the picnic across the parking lot next to the dog park to let our fur babies run around.

Passing through the area and thought I'd try this place out. I've never heard of this restaurant chain before, so I was curious to try. I ordered the Chicken Grilled Burrito Combo. Interesting that the side chosen for tacos would be tater tots, but I have no complaints. I was actually quite shocked at how seasoned the tots were. Would definitely eat here again!

I've had better microwave tacos at home. This chain clearly has quality control problems. One star is generous--won't be back!

The burger was well made with good flavor, and the fries came out crispy and salted just right. The service was friendly and pretty quick considering it was fairly busy. The staff got the order correct and made sure everything was good before we left, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself was clean and had a comfortable, casual fast food atmosphere. It's a good stop if you're looking for a reliable burger meal without a long wait. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait was a little longer than expected during peak time, but overall still a great visit and I'd definitely come back again.

He was so kind, and there was a very rude customer who was complaining about his order and I saw the staff remake this man french fries fresh and when he received them for the 2nd time he complained again said they were stale , Wyatt was so accommodating he said we will make fresh ones again and bring them right out sir, and then this rude customer says no I dont want them and then he says hes writing a letter to corporate and then he says just give them to me at the drive through, Wyatt should have called the police for disorderly conduct and my husband saw the whole thing too. Some people are really ridiculous not sure what his problem was but Wyatt was very professional, good for him hes going to make it big in life with such a wonderful outlook in life. God bless him

The space is small, but they have it laid out well with tables and booths lining every available inch coupled with a small bar tucked in the rear of the room. Staff was super friendly. My server was sweet and helpful, and then another server checked in throughout my meal as well. Not too overwhelmingly so, just enough. Food was solid. Menu has all the classics and a few house specialty dishes. I stared my meal with a small queso and went with the lunch order of Chilaquiles. The Chilaquiles had chicken and a red sauce that was perfection. Not too thick, but also not runny or watery. It stuck to the chicken, cheese and chips very nicely. It was a pretty tasty lunch! The queso was standard, nothing special, but it was exactly what I was after. Only thing keeping it from a full 5 star is value. While the Chilaquiles and rice were well priced and worth the $12.99, the small queso coming in at $6.50 and the side of sour cream pushing $2.00 was a bit surprising. Overall, solid Mexican spot that I would happily swing back by when in White House!
