Potato cakes
Valerie S.

We stopped in for a quick lunch before getting on the turnpike for the last leg of our trip home. We just ordered a couple of beef and cheddar, curly fries, potato cakes, and drinks. Everything was hot and hit the spot. The service was great as well.

Wife and I on our way to Pittsburg to look at houses had to stop for gas and a bite to eat. Got the gas and then saw Arby's out of the corner of my eye. I said to my wife oh boy have not had that for at least 20-25 years maybe more. I remember it being great so We decided to give it a shot. Oh boy old age must really be kicking in as my memory must be shot as far as remembering food from way back when. I had a Arby's roast beef classic and fries. The only thing edible were the fries. I had about half of the roast beef sandwich and tossed the rest. Totally disgusting and terrible food. If I remember in my old age I will never go to an Arby's again. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The place was big and clean. Too bad I would never want to eat here again.

I love getting Arby's curly fries. Their milkshakes are also pretty good. I wish they had more gluten free options though.

The server was nice and I enjoyed my fish flatbread. I recommend the curly fries, and the location is great if you're at Mountain Laurel.

Apparently, they're now serving beer at Burger King. I mean, who would've thought, right? I was driving back to Philadelphia and decided to stop and charge my phone, but little did I know, I was in for a surprise. I placed my order for some chicken fries and turned around to find myself face-to-face with a whole case of beers. Talk about a plot twist! I kept walking, trying to process what I just saw, and guess what? There was even more beer! I don't know what's going on in Scranton, but they sure know how to have a good time. And let me give a shoutout to the genius owner of this Burger King because they've mastered the art of impulse buying with their product placement. I mean, who can resist the temptation of grabbing a cold one while waiting for their chicken fries? It's like they read our minds! So, if you're ever in Scranton and craving some fast food with a side of unexpected beer options, head on over to this Burger King. It's like a party in a fast-food joint! Just remember to enjoy responsibly and maybe grab some extra napkins because things might get a little wild. Cheers! In other news, the place was clean, bright and so was the cashier.

Lots of really comfy booths. I wanted to try the molcajetes with the shrimp, chicken, and steak. It's big enough to share! That thing comes out steaming and gorgeous. Honestly, I loved the sauce and queso best. The chorizo is nice. Of the others, I think I liked the shrimp best, though the chicken had great flavor. Nice fresh smaller tortillas are the real deal, too. We had the side of guacamole. Very nice. I want more next time. We ordered the rice a beans side. So good, I think we'll get two orders next time. We added the carne asada to the nachos. That green sauce on the side is great! I prefer the carne in thin slices. Yea, we still had leftovers! Nice brews on tap.

Obviously, we chose Diego and it was the right choice!! A mid-afternoon Sunday in May is not a busy time for Poconos restaurants so the parking lot was empty but we were greeted with warmth and smiles as the rain water dripped from our clothes and hair (Thank goodness for their cloth napkins!). Since tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo and there are plans for feasting on the holiday the choice for this rainy day was Diego's "Goat Burger." It was an AWESOME and flavorful burger the goat cheese melted throughout the huge burger patty only enhanced each bite. It's the best burger I have had in some time covered with a really great sesame seed bun (Looking out through the window as the rain poured down I could see that familar yellow arch thinking what a fantastic relaxing experience this was compared to burgers in a bag ). Service was great throughout... our waiter did his best to add dessert to the order but the road called however I cross this intersection periodically and next time ole... I will try one of their Mexican options.

I called 15 mins before going asking if there was a wait for a party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) and since there wasn't a wait, we headed over hoping there wasn't going to be a brunch rush or something, especially on new year day. We got here and were greeted by every staff and sat down right away in the back (which was perfect). Our drink orders were take right away and our waitress was so friendly and patient with us when we started ordering our food. Food came out fairly quickly and it was SO good, I didn't even take pictures! All I have to say is that my group ordered different things from the menu and no one was disappointed with what they got. I don't remember the name of my dish, but it was basically sausage on biscuits smothered in gravy and a side of home fries. This is definitely a place I would come back to if I was ever in the area again. The place was a little dated but I loved the open kitchen and the friendliness of the staff. My husband had pancakes with lemon curd and loved them, and the two kids with us loved their kids meals from the breakfast menu. We didn't bother sending it back, no big deal. The place is fun and cute with a lot of decorations. We came on Valentine's Day and it was very festive.

Needed a place to eat and we were sort of a captured audience - didn't see any other places within walking distance. Having grown up going to the Poconos for vacation weekends for the last 30 years, I have come to lower my expectations. You just don't get as good food or service in the area as a large city. That said, I would like to add that in the last 10+ years the area has gotten much better, more options. I cannot recommend this restaurant. First, the place smells dank. I can only assume it is because there is carpet in the dinning area - why someone would put carpet in a restaurant is beyond me. It just gets wet and grungy over time, no way to clean it out. The service we awfully slow. We sat down, and we did get water and bread pretty much right away. However after that no server for 10-15 minutes. Had to ask twice for someone to come over. This is a very long wait, especially when you have little kids. The place was not yet super crowded either, this was early like 6pm, maybe it was 1/2 full. Our server was a nice kid, very friendly. He did a great job once he was "told" people were at his table. Our drinks (beer / wine) came out slowish too. Otherwise he did an excellent job and was tipped 20+ % So the how is the food? Not great. I'd give it more like 2.5 stars. Fries were cold and seemed to be sitting out, not fresh cut. My chicken sandwich was tiny and not very flavorful. Bun was soggy too. My sisters like their chicken quesdillas, but again I thought they were tiny and not much chicken. Cesar salad was decent. My kids Mac and Cheese was actually pretty good just needed salt. The view from the dinning area is beautiful though. If you want to come in for an amazing view, some beers and some bar food then you probably will be happy, so long as you can stand the mild dank smell. One last thing, the mens bathroom was absolutely filthy. Yes, it was a holiday weekend and the outside area was packed but still no excuse. They need to have a kid in there every hour cleaning it. With the right manager and some tweaks this place could really be solid but for now we won't be back.
