Wawa is, as a company overall, by and far, the absolute best convenience store/gas station i have ever encountered. It is true I may hold a bias to them as I ask originally from NJ. In NJ they are as common as stoplights in a city. If you can find one who still brews fresh coffee they are the best coffee around. Their fresh made sandwiches are the best and to get them and a soup at any time of day is a delight when you work late or ultra early. Their personal brands of tea and fruit drinks may just be a generic but they never seemed to taste better than when coming from the WaWa. In NJ you get your Pork Roll n Bagel sammiches hot and wrapped, a half-0decent cheese steak, and... and... YUM!!! But WaWa is scarce because they have pride in their quality and community. They partner with nearby farms to ensure much of their dairy product is a fresh as can be. They are not here in Ohio and this makes me sad... we have the low-class WaWa called Sh33tz who try to put tots on everything and that's just "No!" in fact, that is my ONLY bad thing to say about WaWa... they Are not in Ohio and this makes me sad. read more

One hopping place!!! It was like a party in the parking lot. You'll find it's your normal run of the mill gas station/convenient store. The potty was NOT up to par. Hopefully you have extra eyes while in the parking lot, it's an accident waiting to happen. And watch where you're walking, I watched 3 different dog owners have their pups stretch their legs and have a potty break in the grassy area off the parking lot and NOT pick up the doody. They were able to redeem themselves with having delicious frozen coke! read more

Some of the best gas station food that I've had. I had a roast beef on a toasted sub with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, roasted peppers, sweet peepers, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and Mayo. I opted for double meat and it was a lot. I think sandwich would have been fine with the standard serving. I complimented the sub with some classic lays chips, some seltzer, and Reece's. Stopped to get some gas before heading back to Boston. It was early morning so it was pretty quiet and fast. We still went inside the store to grab some coffee for the drive home. The location is convenient and it was pretty close to where my friend lives as well. The convenient store beside the gasoline station is a good sized store with a lot of selections for snacks and drinks to have when you're on the road traveling. My husband got some bacon egg and cheese for me. It was pretty good and a good size too. read more

Stopped at this very busy Wawa on 476/80 exit. Ordered Mac and Cheese with bacon. Picture shows small pieces of bacon mixed in to the Mac and cheese. When I got it, the Mac and cheese had 4 full size pieces of bacon sitting on top! What?!? I have a fork... why did they do that? Lazy workers, that's what. Check your food before you leave! Disappointed, although they are so busy I'm sure they don't care. read more

This location is very easy to access from the Turnpike. It offers gas pumps, bathrooms, coffee, sandwich station, etc. It is easy to move about inside to get the items you need. The only disadvantage is not enough parking spots since sometimes this places gets crowded quickly. There are spots behind the building if you cannot find spots out front, if needed. I never had a problem here, and I will continue to stop here. read more

The previous reviewer had a problem with the bathrooms ... they are back in order and up to Wawa's normal standards. He complains about the portajohns, but the other option is an out of order sign and the woods. Stop complaining, things break, deal with it. Other than that it's a pretty standard Super Wawa. Conveniently located at intersection of 80 and 476. So its ALWAYS packed. I think they create a frustrating environment by letting people park at the pump and then go into the bathrooms and restaurant. We stopped for gas and lunch. Wife got a chicken salad sub. Was robbed at this wawa. Someone broke into my car and stole my backpack that had my brand new laptop, birth certificate, passport, and journals that I'd been keeping for years(to name a few things). When I asked them if they could check the security cameras they said they couldn't check. A cop finally showed up an hour later and the manager was like "okay fine I guess I'll check". The other workers treated me like I was inconveniencing them for standing in the wawa talking to the cop about what i could do about my stolen bag. This Wawa is recently remodeled. It was closed for several weeks while they did extensive work inside. This is a very busy Wawa as it is immediately off two different interstates. On busy summer and winter weekends, the parking lot can get a little crowded. Wawa is the crown jewel of convenience stores. I enjoy this Wawa or though when is very busy it can be very sloppy at the coffee bar and the bathroom is always clean. The customer service is always friendly. I have never ever tried their sandwiches or hot meals so I can't comment on that. But whenever I am in town I stop here. read more

This place is kind of unavoidable if you're coming up the northeast extension to get on Route 80. There are a few fast food chains, but Wawa is hard to pass up after several hours of driving. My biggest gripe about this place used to be the women's bathroom, but they have renovated and now it's more than sufficient to handle the crowds. The parking lot can be a wreck at times (many, many cars -- just not always enough spots) but they couldn't possibly fit more spots than they already have. Like an oasis in the desert, this Wawa appears at the intersection of Interstate 80 and the Northeast extension of the PA Turnpike. I have been here often as I switched highways. Although they have put most of the other businesses at this interchange out of business, that has happened because of Wawa's typical quality and convenience. Particularly during ski season, be prepared for parking lot wars to rival the busiest shopping mall on the Saturday before Christmas. Raising the level of difficulty is cars coming from multiple directions as autos move from the gas pumps. There previously used to be outrageous lines for the bathroom here, but in a proactive move, Wawa actually dedicated more space to the bathrooms and enlarged them to handle the crowds - great job, Wawa! As usual, Wawa has a great selection of freshly prepared, grab and go, and packaged foods. Of course, they also have bottled drinks, fresh coffee, and cheaper gas. Skip Hickory Run service area and come here instead. There is also a McDonalds, Arby's, and A&W at this same exit. read more

This Wawa is adequate. I only stop here because it's literally the only Wawa for miles. Location really is everything here. The coffee machine for iced coffee is often low or totally run out. The inside of the story is dirty and grimy. The bathrooms are a DISASTER. But when you have to go...you can go here. I would stop elsewhere, but in this neck of the woods pickings are very very slim. We stopped in here for gas and a bite to eat during our 3 hour drive. It is very easy to get in and out of and provides easy access to the turnpike. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and pleasant. While it was busy our paninis came out quickly. The store has a great variety of items at low prices. I am a wawa lover. I would literally love for sheetz to go out of business for wawa, and tonight I had my first bad experience. I drove 30 minutes with friends just for a wawa hoagie because we don't have any where I live, and I grew up on wawa. The employees working the food were extremely rude. Not only that, they made my meatball sub, said they called my number and I waited too long so they gave it to someone else...then they were out of meatballs. I got something else, still had to pay, & they talked shit on me while they made my new sub. Worst experience of my life. I will always love wawa but these employees obviously don't have the wawa spirit. Every other one I've been to has the happiest employees because they know how important wawa is to people, and these employees don't care. I will never go here again, no matter how badly I want wawa. read more

Stopped by here on my road trip to full up the car, grab a snack and use the restroom. The rest station was very bright and we'll kept which was important to us because rest areas can sometimes be dangerous in desolate areas. The price of gas was cheap, which was good & they had an abundance of pumps. The snack shop had a lot to chose from and the cashier was nice and helpful. The restroom was CLEAN which was all I cared about because usually rest stop restrooms are disgusting. This is a good place for a quick stop, no complaints. read more

Wawa is consistently reliable and this location is very convenient off I-80 or 476 (Wilkes Barre / Allentown). Like all Wawas, this place is amazing from top to bottom. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the restrooms are clean. The only negative about this location is parking. Since it's located between two major highways, it can be very difficult to find a place to park. If you're traveling on 80, a better idea would be to stop at the Blakeslee location further east. It's a bit further from the highway, but the lack of crowds is completely worth your time. read more
