Great place for a pit-stop if you're driving through the Poconos. The store is well stocked, clean, and has friendly customer service. Ample parking spaces in the lot. This was the first Wawa I saw with tables inside. We stopped inside Wawa Saturday for snacks and drinks while on the road. The sandwich line was long so we opted no this time. Coffee is good as always. This location has self-check out stations. Side note: Wawa and business in the area here have out plastic bags. I was surprised after being so used to the plastic-bag-ban in NJ. Useful to reuse if your traveling through or vacationing in the area, but try to reuse or recycle these bags afterwards. read more

It's amazing! I only come for the coffee and service. Every state I've been to WAWA you've made me love you more. My coffee made it from Pennsylvania to Brooklyn. I nucked the leftovers again and was so upset I didn't order two cups. I had the vanilla coffee with half and half and one brown sugar. The location is clean and there are distance signs on the floor and mask requirements notices at every door. I left with a smile on my masked face and my well deserved hot cup of coffee. My only complaint is food preparers not using a mask, especially when they are having personal conversations and spraying their DNA while making my food. These are great little stores that are not in New York but I stop occasionally when I go to Pennsylvania. It's very similar to an upscale 7-Eleven. It's a chain store and they are bright, and welcoming. And provide a convenient and safe place to stop when traveling. It's an easy on/off from route 80. The prices are about what you would expect from this type of store; moderate. Parking is also adequate, well, and convenient. All in all, I would recommend them for travelers. read more

OH MY GOSH! I am not joking, I drive up from NYC IN TRAFFIC to get to this Wawa. That might sound insane, but trust me. WAWA IS LIFE. Okay, so there is this Wawa, and another one on 940 (near the Turnpike exit). This one is WAY better. The manager, Dave, keeps the place as clean as can be. Every single employee wears gloves (and I know that should be expected, but trust me, its not that common). The food here is SUPER fresh. They even have people going around the store, throwing out food that has been sitting out too long. That's just unheard of in the "gas station" industry. Get the stuffed pretzels near the register, they are bomb! So are the non-stuffed pretzels and the lattes (the ones you order from the touch-screen kiosk). Pro tip: If you ask for fresh coffee, they will literally grab a fresh container for you. read more

We seemed to have wound up here multiple times during a week's stay in the area. We live in a part of the world where we don't have regular access to Wawa, so we make a point of stopping whenever we're in PA, Delaware or NJ just because. WAWA convenience stores are generally similar. This location is clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed a hot grilled ham sandwich, which was good but could have had mustard on the side instead of spread on it in a sloppy manner. We also enjoyed the pepperoni and cheese grilled sandwich, as it tasted like pizza. In addition to the sandwiches, we had tasty, spicy buffalo chicken bites and bottled beverages. Both food and beverage chooses abound here. Gas is reasonable. I pretty much dig WaWa's. Usually has fairly clean bathrooms and a nice convenience store selection. I even order a sandwich from time to time. Their quality surpasses Subway at even a better price. Some also have gas stations connected to it. Prices are fair and parking lot is well lit. read more

This Wawa literally saved our Pocono's vacation. So on my recent weekend ski trip, one of the "friend of friends" insisted she would cook. If you're going to INSIST on cooking, especially on a ski trip for 11 people, I'm expecting a banquet, especially if you send out an email asking about allergies. I expect you to stop skiing at 12 and go straight to Walmart to buy a turkey so you can start basting. I don't need a 7-course, but I'm expecting a 5-course menu (maybe with wine pairing). Well that didn't happen. The person in question brought some homemade bread and her own butterknife. After a perilous journey through a PA national park filled with shady skinny trees and threats of bears, we finally found the right way to our vacation home. Diana C., Lily Y. and I were all starving so we were lucky to find a Wawa, which happened to also be the first signs of civilization in over an hour. Stumbling in, we immediately loaded up on liquids and attacked the self-order sandwich counter. I ordered the Prime Rib Eye sandwich with a whole lot of fixings, got my receipt and paid for everything. Then I got a little greedy. We were all curious about the sides, so I decide to pursue the meatballs. After putting in my order for meatballs, the screen asked me if I would like to have it over anything. I'm thinking sure...why not? Well, the only option it gave me was Mac n Cheese. Whoa. Meatballs over mac and cheese? Am I about to gain all the weight back from snowboarding? Yes, so why not order three so I could goad Diana and Lily into this as well. Well the small little plates were heavenly, especially in the civilization starved Poconos. Italian chicken philly. Mmmm. The way you melt in my mouth with your cheesey cheese and your chickeny chicken. Wawa's sandwiches totally pwn Sheetz. The store is big and bright with a good selection of sodas and energy drinks. And chips, can't forget the chips. When my cousin was 51 cents short and had to run outside to get change from me the guy wasn't a jerk. And when I was throwing up in the car the people were more than happy to hook us up with some plastic bags and paper towels for the ride home. You also save 5 cents a gallon if you pay cash. CROOKS! Crooks I tell ya! I don't know man...smh. For years, I've had a love affair with Wawa in general. The peach iced tea, the icees, the made-to-order sandwiches... what's not to love? Well, I'll tell you what. I was visiting this location this past weekend and there was shady stuff going on at the gas pump. I went to pump some regular gas at pump #8, mind you I've been coming here for years so I know which button to press for regular, and they charged me for premium. Worst part is I pressed the regular button, left the latch on the gas nozzle, and got back in my car while my tank filled up. It wan't until my tank was full and the receipt print that I noticed the discrepancy. After a long ordeal with the attendant inside, where she at one point disappeared to "check" the machine and then called us over after she "tested" the machine, I called customer service and was reimbursed with a gift card for the difference in gas price ($5, big whoop, but its the principle of the thing). I also reported the incident to the department of consumer affairs. Moral of the story: I still love Wawa but I got my eye on them (especially at the pump). read more

We live about 30 minutes from our nearest Wawa, but don't mind taking a drive to get their coffee. During the fall their pumpkin coffee is the absolute best and we're not even huge on pumpkin flavored things. We end up stocking up on their pumpkin coffee kcups and are super sad when we run out. But really, most of the coffee is great. We think it's better than Dunkin, Starbucks and definitely better than Sheetz. The food can take a while to get when they're busy. They tend to be extremely busy in the morning for breakfast and also during lunch. They have an awesome bagel w/veggie cream cheese that comes with cucumbers and tomato on it. We usually also grab a hashbrown during breakfast and take a pretzel home to have later that evening. We wish we had a Wawa closer because we'd probably go every day! read more

I stop at this Wawa almost daily. Their coffee is delicious, their store is always immaculate, and their service is always phenomenal. They have some cashiers here who genuinely can brighten your day up - Whether you're a people person or not. Maureen in particular is a gem. Their food selection is pretty top notch - as far as gas station food goes. I love their egg salad, and their fresh shortie rolls are great. I don't find the breakfast food to be to my taste, but judging by the huge amount of people purchasing it I may just be the off one. Most people see Wawa as a pit stop place. I however will go out of my way for their mozzarella sticks. Honestly the last place I would think had good sticks was a gas station, but Wawa you've done it again! They are deliciously breaded, properly fried, and the marinara sauce is solid. The intro: Wawa is a great convienience store/petro station chain based outta Wawa, PA. I've always loved their stores no matter where I go [They are better than the Gas Stations and 7-Eleven in a general comparison]. This is one of the spots that should recieve a 5 because of it's great staff, freshly made food, from hoagies to hot sandwiches, to their own coffee and more, however some bumps knocked it down a notch. The review: Convieniently located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 940 and Pennsylvania Route 115, and few seconds away from Exit 284 on I-80, the location is obviously great. The overall presentation when you pull up is great as well, clean gas pumps and well lit store is awesome! The restrooms are super clean, you won't even feel like your in a gas station/convienience store, the store floor is presentable as well, but I'd hope they simplify some stuff so I can know the price, overall the missing prices aren't a big deal however I have to round it down to 4 stars instead of 5 because I as a customer should recieve better and clearer signage. As for the overall spaciousness, it's great despite a slightly cramped petro pump area as compared to other rural/suburban setting petro stations. But really, this is a must stop if you want to grab some stuff and go, or just fuel up or take a break on a long road trip... Short ones/Local ones are definitely a must stop as well! read more

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at this Wawa location on 05/24/2020. I was sexually harassed by 3 men upon entering the store, and before attempting to communicate my concerns to the sales representative at the counter, I noticed he was friendly with the men harassing me, so I avoided making any complaints on the basis that they would be dismissed, or that it would have fueled the flame. The wawa was busy at this time and I could not locate another individual whom could help me in the midst of my dismay and confusion as I was attempting to get to safety as quick as possible. Thankfully, my friend was present and was able to help me exit the situation before any further advances were made. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate anyone else whom could have assisted me at the time due to my great discomfort and panic. It is disappointing that the resources were not at my disposal to successfully circumvent the situation. read more

I love Wawa but my last visit has left a bad taste in my mouth. One day me and 2 of my friends were going to Wawa to get sandwiches first we were waiting for our sandwich's for about 20 minutes. When we finally got our sandwich's they were tiny me and one of my friend got a 10 inch hoagie they were tiny so small I asked the guy who made our sandwich if they were 10 inch he said yeah but they look like 6 inches. When we got home we ate our sandwich... they basically messed up everything first my hoagie was basically meat all I saw was cheese meat meat meat and no sauce or anything else I asked for. Second my friend got a spicy buffalo sandwich it was no hung spicy it was chicken no buffalo sauce. My third friend got the most garbage one it was actually meat and bread he ordered the sauce and basically all the vegetables and what does he get meat. What the hell I saw with my own 2 eyes he got a lot of vegetables my other friend even saw he got it and he said he saw some dude making his sandwich and was moving back and forth looking for something that guy was the one who made our sandwich and messed up everything. Wawa never disappoints me but after this I don't know if I even like them anymore pretty disappointed when we wait for 20 minutes for nothing but crap. And I don't even want to know if we were charged the ones we didn't even get when we ordered them. Tbh I don't know if I will ever visit Wawa ever again after this experience. read more
