Store has gotten a much needed facelift and upgrade. Easier to navigate in the produce aisle while sipping on your Starbucks...yes, they have a Starbucks there! Clean and stocked well with many employees on the floor to answer any questions and they will take you to what you are looking for. Prices are still on the high side. Plants are cared for and I have purchased many from them. Pharmacy is the best...Amy rocks. Questions answered and time spent explaining. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Went in to get some homemade donuts. This had been at least my 5th time going, ( and left without any) because the donut area is so dirty. Floor and crumbs all over shelf, for getting boxes. That area was a mess as well. Took some pictures. Girls behind bakery shelf had no care in the world. Seemed like her cell phone was more important. read more

This is not the first time something like this has happened to me at this location. I frequently shop at the Weis in East Stroudsburg and also at the one on 611 in Stroudsburg and rarely have any issues. It just seems to be this location that I have problems with. While watching my carbs i'll often to go a weis, shoprite, giant, etc. type place and get a pack of lunch meat and maybe some shrimp or another pre packaged item that is low in carbs for a meal while on the go. This here, was a huge mistake, and I was so angry at the level of care given by this place, I didn't even go inside and say anything because it would have ended up in me yelling. Whoever was working in the deli simply doesn't care about their job. As you can see from the photo of the Roast Beef I spent $12 on, all of the cartilage was in there and wrapped it up as is for someone (me) to waste their money on. It wasn't very good quality RB to begin with, but having to throw half of it away because you can't even chew it really tends to ruin your lunch. You can't tell from the photo but the shrimp was rancid. I am a chef of 20 years, it was rancid. I believe they cooked old shrimp, froze it, and thawed it in shifts to lay out day by day for purchase. Who knows how much shrimp was actually inedible that they had sold that day, but unfortunately I definitely received one package. I pass here nearly daily for work, and I will never go back there again. I've spent a lot of money there. Congratulations in losing yourself a steady customer. read more

This is an ok local grocery store. Has all the essentials and a little more. The store set up is nice and the staff is super nice. You get all the basic groceries from here, and they also have some shelves for specialty items, such as gluten free, vegan and paleo products. However, all produce is not always the best (recently all kale was yellow) and you have to find other alternatives. We go there for the proximity and friendly staff. read more

I've been coming here forever. It's the smaller of our two local markets. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger organic section but it's a small store so they do what they can with the space they have, I guess. There produce section can be hit or miss as well but for the most part it's a great store. read more

This market used to be my place to go but not anymore the management has gone downhill extremely. No more customer service. If you buy beer you cannot get anything else just to be here at that register. It takes her longer to explain it than if she just rang up the tomatoes avocado and bananas. Just a regular super market .... the one in broadheadsville is a lot cleaner and bigger ... and a lot less crowded. Run in frequently on my lunch break to grab daily groceries, but would not come here for my regular food shopping. They really need to improve their breads in the bakery area. However they do have a nice variety of cakes for a quick grab. read more

Reasonable grocery store, stopped by after visiting the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap

We rented an airbnb in Henryville for a few days and needed some things from a supermarket. Weis Markets was conveniently located so we gave it a try. We were so pleased. Weis Markets is sparklingly clean. Both staff and patrons were wearing masks. The store has an efficient layout making it easy to find items. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best of all, the deli foods and fruits we purchased were fresh and tasty. Folks who live in the area have a wonderful supermarket to patronize; visitors to the area can be assured that this supermarket will more than meet their needs. read more

I find it a little disheartening to walk into the store this morning to see a manager (based on uniform) standing at the entrance without any mask or face covering. Does the rules not apply to everyone? His employee standing next to him had a mask. read more

Place your order online, choose your pick up time, drive up to the stall, press the button and the fabulous Dawn appears with your order. (The staff here are super friendly. Dawn will call you with substitute suggestions if your item is not in stock! Carmine is the general manager whom I stopped to tell him how impressed I am with the online shopping and he thanked me and also added that he will give Dawn a gift card- glad to see they take care of the staff!) I never post complaints. but the hot foods section in this store is Horrible. They are very slow, and lazy. They have no interest in making something for you, that they run out of. Which is made in the store and is on the menu. I will NOT be going back. read more

great supermarket..open 24 hours....a lil bit on the pricey side

This is the closest supermarket for me but I will only get my essentials there like bread and milk. Was in there recently with my 83 year old mother. She wanted to get a sandwich from their take out counter. So I left her their with the shopping cart while I went to grab an item I needed. My Mom has sever problems with her legs and has problems walking (the reason I left her with the cart so she could hold onto). I went back and couldn't find her. I walked the entire store and went back to the deli counter to find her and she told me she had to walk over to the bakery to get her own roll. How does a deli that sells sandwiches run out of rolls? BUT more important how do the make a handicapped 83 women who has problem walking to go get her own bread? They also do NOT always honor their advertised price. There is a disclaim on their fliers that does say they do not have to honor their items listed. How many people have paid for items that they thought were on sale until after they get home if at all. They refused to honor their own misprints. read more
