This pharmacist filled the first at 27 days, and the second. Come the third refill, it got weird. When I put in for my refill he decided that I was to wait 11 days after the refill date. My refill date was the 14th. He arbitrarily said the 26th. When I asked why, he told me that my doctor told him not to fill it till then. Thinking this was a mistake, I called my doctor. My doctor said he had no such conversation, however he had his nurse practitioner call to explain that I was to fill it no later than the 16th so I can travel for work. In a normal world, this would be no problem. But the pharmacist dug in his heels, saying to her "She should have plenty left over." His words. Eleven days. My doctor suggests I find a new pharmacy. I call Giant to recap exactly what happened to the pharmacist. He denied none of it, but for some reason he is pretending that it wasnt him that actually spoke to my nurse. He lied to me by pretending it wasnt him who spoke to my doctors office which was totally bizarre until he made a mistake, exposing his lie. He lied to my nurse, stating she told him to wait till the 26th which she didnt. He gaslit both of us. He claimed "responsibility" while insisting on filling a prescription 11 days late. He accused me of stockpiling, insuinuating -what-? I have a giant Suboxone cartel? He discriminated against me because I am in recovery. He had his knee on my neck and he liked it. The man is a twisted sister. I cancelled my refill and I'll be going to a different town with a pharmacy that doesnt treat people who are trying to do the right thing like sh*t. People are people, whether you have cancer, diabetes or are in recovery. Noone should be treated like this. Eleven Days. A once a month prescribed suboxone refill is not a line at the methadone clinic, sir. Not to worry, weird lying pharmacist guy. This past weekend, we decided to go to Walmart for our grocery trip and we were so glad we did. Maybe it's because I'm from Philadelphia, but I found the prices to be extremely affordable and was genuinely shocked by the quality for the cost. The produce section was great, things were very fresh and bountiful. The staff was helpful, when asked. The store in was well organized, with plenty of check-out options and an easy to use self check-out.

My experience at the CVS in Effort, PA was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I needed a…read moreprescription transferred from another pharmacy, and when I asked for assistance, I was simply told that my pharmacy needed to call CVS directly. My pharmacy did exactly that, but the process became a nightmare. It took multiple phone calls, a faxed transfer request, and repeated follow-ups because the calls were not being answered. I even informed the staff that my pharmacy was trying to reach them and that the incoming calls were going unanswered. While I understand that pharmacy staff can be busy, there were approximately six employees present, many of whom appeared more focused on laughing and socializing than helping customers. Throughout the entire ordeal, I remained patient and respectful. Instead of receiving empathy or assistance, I was made to feel like my issue was an inconvenience. At one point, I was even asked, "Why are you still here?" which was both shocking and unprofessional given that I was simply waiting for a resolution to a problem they had the ability to address. After several attempts by my pharmacy, including multiple phone calls and fax requests, my prescription was finally filled. The lack of communication, customer service, and professionalism made this one of the worst pharmacy experiences I've had. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this CVS location for future pharmacy services.

Stopped by CVS today, first to go to the Pharmacy area, since my family doctor gave me a…read moreprescription for the Shingles vaccine, stating that my insurance wouldn't cover me to receive the vaccine in her office, but will cover it, if received at a pharmacy. Very weird, but she was right, I had a $4 copay, the Pharmacist was very pleasant , and followed all the guidelines for administering the vaccine, she notified me, that I will need to come back in 2-6 months for a second dose. Then I needed to pick up a few things, and had coupons downloaded on my CVS app, total came to $76, and went down to $43 when all coupons came off at the end.

Approximately 35-40 people at 5:00ish. The entire line was waiting for self checkout because there wasn't one register with a checkout employee open! I did not have time to wait another half an hour to self checkout. I left my cart in line and headed out of the store. I saw one young employee trying to monitor the self checkout. I tried to call the store on my way home several times to let them know I left my cart. No one ever answered the phone. I won't be back to this location. It's a an unorganized train wreck with barely any employees and poor customer service. Not a manager in sight.
