my husband went through the drive in. we were charged full price and didn't realize my grandson did not get his burger until we were on the highway. The washroom, on the other hand, was horribly messy and had a really foul smell. I came in right after a janitor left and it was still in this state of chaos. I really like this 24-Hour BK and that it is part of a 24-hour Exxon mini-mart and gas. I noticed some dislikes for the dining room but I always use the drive-thru so I don't know about the inside. I do know they get buses every hour, sometimes 2 buses at a time. I think they do the best they can since it seems to be busy constantly. Personally, I always get quick service. They have always gotten my order correct. Their fries are fresh and their apple pie is really good. This BK is the only one within many miles open 24 hours a day and I travel home very late sometimes. I know their hours listed on this site say 7-12. But it is 24 Hours. Burger King employee Says "GET OUT" in front of Manager and Customers I was driving from Buffalo to NYC last night (8/18/2014) around and I stopped at the burger king at 17th Main Street, Gouldsboro, PA 18424. There were around 3 employees in the restaurant and none of them were at the counter. I walked in looking to get some coffee to help in the drive back to NYC. I saw an employee mopping the floor, his name is "Stan" according to the Manager. I wasnt sure the restaurant was open so just asked him "Are you open?", I was shocked by the response I got from him. He was standing a few feet away and started yelling at me for absolutely no reason saying "YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT, WE ARE JUST THREE WORKING HERE AND CANT LEAVE EVERYTHING FOR YOU, SO JUST WAIT THERE. CAN'T YOU SEE WE ARE BUSY HERE". I couldnt believe what I heard and responded with "I was just asking if you are open" Again to this he responded by yelling "YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT". After this another employee came over to the counter and asked me what I needed, to which I responded with 2 coffee and paid the money. When I was making coffee the same employee who shouted at me came outside and told me "YOU BUSTED OUR BALLS JUST FOR COFFEE, GET IT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE". I was so pissed at this but tried to calm down, went back to the car and dropped off the coffee. I couldn't have ignored this and came back to ask name of the employee and wanted to speak to the manager. When I told the manager what happened she said she will put the coffee on the house but all I wanted was some respect and not treated like this. When I said I don't want the free coffee another employee shouted "GET OUT" in front of the whole store with customers , my family and kids with me, I couldn't believe my ears!!! I just left the store completely appalled and shocked with my kids asking me about the insult and arguments. I have never felt so insulted in all my life. We are not eating for free, and are paying customers, how can you treat us like this. This can happen to anyone. I want to know from Burger King is this how you treat another person? How can you say "GET OUT" to someone who comes to your Restaurant and pays for your jobs! This is inhuman treatment on part of the employees and the Manager and they deserve to be punished or at least apologize. I have a feeling this is linked to my being Asian. I moved to Gouldsboro about two years ago and live down the road from this "place". I thought at first this would be nice, to be out in the rural area, and be able to get a decent sandwich from time to time. Much to my dismay, this "place" is a HUGE disappointment! The "place" is filthy, the staff are awful, and the food????, well I think if you eat the wrappers you may be more satisfied. I hate to be so critical but I am actually being nice here. I can't believe that Burger King would allow whoever owns this place to let this happen. I have eaten at many Burger Kings around the country and this one is by far the worst! I think the only reason this place survives is because of the bus traffic it gets. I am sure it can not rely on repeat business. This is truly a ONE-STOP joint. There is absolutely nothing about it that would make you want to enter it again. For the locals like myself at least there is a convenient type store called "On the Run" connected to it. You can get drinks and sandwiches there and it is open 24 hrs. If you do happen to stop there and you are on a bus, use the bus bathroom no matter how bad it may be, because I can assure you it will be much cleaner than you will find inside. I used to travel quite a bit years ago and had to stop at some places to look for something to eat and use the restroom. I can't think of any place that I have been in that is as bad as this hole. When I first moved near it, I thought well maybe I just hit it on some bad times and it really isn't usually like this. WRONG!!!! I went in the girl behind the register rang up extra items that I didn't ask for, the wait time was over 20 minutes and when you have 2 little ones with you that's like and eternity!! Had to listen to them manager carry on how she wasn't going to make something someone order cause it was going to make her gag!!
