I CAREFULLY planned out my order and even wrote it down and read it to the person at the drive thru microphone. She read it back to me TWICE after she got it right. She was Totally correct! 1 (ONE) DOUBLE WHOPPER JUNIOR NO CHEESE NO PICKLES In other words Only tomatoes, lettuce, onions, ketchup, mayo, NOT CHEESE! NOT PICKLES!! and 1 (ONE) WHOPPER JUNIOR WITH CHEESE NO ONIONS, NO TOMATOES, NO LETTUCE. (In other words ONLY PICKLES, KETCHUP, MAYO AND CHEESE!) NOT LETTUCE OR TOMATOES!!! And 4 mozzarella sticks and 1 medium Coke. They were fine. I was5th or 6th in line when I ordered. We waited a long time to move even one car length toward that 2nd window goal. Another 5 minute wait as the next customer was served and moved ahead in line; i don't know how long between the next 2 cars but 5 minutes while the car in front of us got to window 2, and another 7 til they got their order and drove away. When I pulled up, The guy at the window was just taking over for a girl who wanted out of the drive thru. I guess i don't blame her. They were REALLY busy! After I got to that 2nd window to pay and get my food, I waited 5 minutes just til he got the orders straight that she left him with. Then he was able to take my money. I watched or heard several orders get bagged and ready -- another more than 6 minutes until they got to mine. I heard someone give him a bag, saying "here, it's for them." He asked who and whoever was talking said "I don't know, them I guess." The guy repeated the order exactly as I had given it. He then repeated it to me correctly. I had been waiting in that line over a half hour by then and debated making everyone wait while I checked my order. But what he read me was correct so I was OVER-confident it was right. I LEFT WITH MY ORDER AND got to where I was going only to find out the double whopper jr DID HAVE CHEESE AND THE WHOPPER jr w/cheese DID actually have lettuce, tomato. It was for an elderly couple who couldn't eat just any food. Especially cheese. I've encountered this too many times at this very Burger King. I avoided it for YEARS ..... AND I'm SORRY I HOPED TO TRUST IT AGAIN!! Everyone I have brought this up to agreed and haven't gone there for quite a while. You've lost our family - and it's pretty big!

I stopped off at Fat Mike's Texas Weiners where I got his Texas Chili Cheeseburger which has cheese, his homemade chili with onions. This was so delicious, juicy, and tasty. I cannot stop at Fat Mike's and not get one of his famous chili dogs with mustard and onions. Now unlike most other places these dogs are deep fried giving Fat Mike's unique flavor and taste. Now his fries are pre-frozen, not a deal breaker in anyway, he cooks them to order to give each customer hot and fresh fries. Mike also offered me a piece of zucchini bread which was homemade by his family member. I was also informed by Mike that this past Memorial Day he was visited by another content creator which I posted about Mikes on his channel was @vacationeducation, yep, the Vaca J was here. Until today when I ordered a Gyro from The Greek Shack. They showed fries on the Gyro in the picture but did not mention them in the description, while providing an upgrade option for fries, so I assumed I would not get fries on my Gyro. In my very strong opinion, fires don't make a Gyro better. In my even stronger opinion overcooked fries that were cooked in very very old oil and smell rancid and are nothing more than mush don't make ANYTHING better. The fries were gross. I picked them out of my food and gave the Gyro a fighting chance. Gyro meat should be freshly sliced off the spit for the best results. The gyro meat at The Greek shack is pre-formed and frozen. They even made it worse in the reheating as it was also overcooked and tasted off. Nothing authentic going on here, they just reheat frozen meat that came from a factory. This was hands down the worst Gyro I have ever tasted. Not close. There are no competitors. The Tzatziki, which I ordered an extra side of, is also the worst Tzatziki sauce I've had. Just tastes dull, no pop from the lemon or garlic and no discernable mint or dill. I mean the sauce is pure white, so I'm pretty sure they do not use mint or dill in the recipe. I'm so incredibly disappointed. I worked a long day and thought I was taking a safe bet on one of not only my favorite food items but one that was also my father's favorites. I've been eating Gyros on the regular for more than 40 years now and I travel for work so I eat them all over. I've had them in Coronado, CA, Denver, CO, SLC, UT, San Francisco, CA, KC, MO, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Boise, ID, Billings, MT. And more. I love Gyros. This one was gross. I could not eat it.
