My husband and I went there tonight with our family. We waited for over an hour for our food…read more Our son in law had to go back to work so we had to end up getting our food to go after both he and my husband went back up to the counter and waited patiently several times hoping that they would hurry. When we finally got our food they were told that there was some sort of a mix up with the online orders... We didn't place an online order. We ordered and paid for in person and we still were there for more than an hour waiting. Once we were finally able to eat, the food tasted good, but not good enough for two overpriced burgers, some cold fries and onion rings and a small shake that cost almost $50 for the two of us and a not great customer service experience. I'm hoping this is an isolated experience as I like to support local businesses and would like to give them another chance sometime but not sure when.

On the first day of 2026, my wife and I decided to venture out and try something new…read more A random recommendation from YELP popped up on her phone. Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Olskool - Ol Skool burrito

My husband and I were invited to an exclusive brunch at Ol Skool to introduce their new breakfast…read moreburrito called The G. The event started out with a bang on a Sunday morning with endless mimosas! The guava went quick, but my husband and I were happy with the orange and pineapple mimosas. While enjoying our mimosas, they brought out the appetizer. It was freshly made guacamole topped with a chili crisp, and it included a flight of their sauces. I'm a sucker for a good guacamole...and their guacamole is great! I loved the chili crisp on top (it reminded me of the Foo Fries they had one time). The chips were salted perfectly and had a good crunch to them. The green sauce was so good, and we liked dipping the guac in it to give the guac a little bit of spice. The salsa had great flavor and I saved some for the main course, but ended up taking the salsa home (I'll touch on that later). The main course was their new special called "The G" which consisted of crinkle cut fries, scrambled eggs, basque chorizo, cheese, Inca sauce, onions, and their new Hood sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. I took one glance at that burrito and I knew I was going to love it, and boy was I right! That sauce mixed with the chorizo and crispy fries really took this burrito to a whole new level. Dare I say it's my new favorite? That flavor and the crunch of the fries really made my tastebuds happy....so much so that I didn't want to change a thing by adding the salsa I saved. The side of fries came with a small container of Hood sauce. With each bite, my husband and I could taste a familiar flavor, but we couldn't quite put our finger on it.....and they wouldn't tell us their secret. We understood though because it's good! After a little bit of digesting, they served us some dessert. It was called "Churros Foster" and it consisted of churros, vanilla ice cream, and it was covered with bananas foster. This dessert was to die for! The cinnamon...the vanilla....the banana....I wanted to lick the bowl clean! I wish this was going to be a new addition to the menu, but for now it's not and I understand. I still really enjoy the churros on their dessert menu. Mimosas, delicious food, and good company! This was such a fun experience and we were very grateful to be invited.

I feel really bad that I never updated my last review but now is as good of a time as any…read more This is my mom's most favorite Mexican restaurant, and although she was unable to leave her house, I could deliver her her most favorite meal on her birthday. Her favorite is the #11 Enchilada (she prefers them because of the shredded chicken and "soft on her teeth" aspect). I personally ordered one of their Taco Salads (Asada, because I love steak)! It was absolutely delicious and loaded in ingredients. We also ordered a side of their medium size French fries and they were cooked exceptionally well and came with plenty of ketchup and mayonnaise (just in case you might want to make "fry sauce"; the Utah favorite out of them). I had kindly suggested to make the birthday meal "extra special", and the employees went above and beyond to do just that! Got a few tasty unexpected treats along with the sweetest note that can still bring tears to her eyes! The attention to detail, friendly and accommodating employees, along with the freshness of food and good portion sizes is the reason why this place deserves over a 10+ rating! Thank you ALL so very much. And if you're on the fence about this place, I highly recommend that you give them a shot!

It took a while to get the food, but I figure they prob just now had to make it fresh because it was a slow time to visit. But my kids were craving icecream, and I wanted a burger, so we tried it out again today. I came with 4 kids and we got our food under 10 minutes so that was awesome. The guy at the register was kind and patient with my kids who couldn't decide what they wanted, and we were all happy with our food. We came at around 1:30 so it was mostly empty. The best part about this place is how much icecream you get. It's a lot for the price. When I try to get creative with my order it's usually wrong but my kids wanted cookie dough and cookies and cream and it was just what they wanted! My only complaint is they crush up the add ins. I wish you got chunks of cookie dough instead of tiny pieces in your icecream. The rodeo burger was really good! Love the thin bun and the massive onion ring.

Yeah, I'm stopping here again without a doubt. -Crown burger: 5/5 Pastrami that still has my mouth watering paired with a burger that's not over salty, and some fresh veggies. Extremely well done, considering I was having this burger after a steak sandwiched it was such a good burger... there's unique burgers in the world and this is one of those that it's good until the last bite. Pair it with some fry sauce to give it some more mouth watering goodness, yes. The fry sauce compliments it beautifully. Try it's you won't be disappointed. -Ribeye Steak sandwich: 5/5 They asked me how I wanted the steak cooked.... Hands down. If you ask how I want the meat cooked. It's getting a higher rating. I will recommend. Don't take this one to go, the steak continues to cook as you get the chance to eat it, so if you want a medium rare sandwich, eat it right away. Fresh, and just simple, it was a basic sandwich but it was done right. So I can't complain, just enjoyed the fact that you're not forced to eat it how they prepare it. You get the chance to taste the beef how you want to! That's a win in my book. Also, make sure not to wait too long otherwise bottom bun gets soggy. Fry sauce: 5/5 Get extra. Need I say more?
