So we pulled into Richfield and saw Arby's. Usually good food at Arby's. We went in. It took them at least 20 minutes to take our order, and there were several people in line that turned around and walked out because they never got their orders taken. Then we stood there for almost 45 minutes while they put out two orders ours and one other one and they never finished ours. Then they had a kitchen fire And we left without our food if I could give this less than one star it would happen. Disgustingly dirty also. read more

Only one person for drive thru, and only one person at the front, with a couple of employees cooking in the back, and this Arby's is doing a good job of moving people (and cars) along. A sign at the cash register asks patrons to be patient due to small staff, and another sign urges folks to apply for employment. Kristina was hustling, and when she took care of us, she was sweet and efficient. She even gave us the senior discount, which we forgot to request. Our Classic Meal and Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich came out quicker than expected. Husband was disappointed that they ran out of Arby's sauce for his sandwich. I was pleased with mine. Looked and tasted great. Husband said his sandwich was dry, and it was okay. I was tempted to give four stars, for lack of Arby's sauce, but everything else was 5 stars. read more

The Arby's in Gardendale, Al was always a great experience until June 8th 2024. The employee handling the drive thru at about 1:00 was one of the nastiest human beings I've ever encountered. The service was awful, the food was sloppy and I won't return to this location. Steer clear!! read more

The SLOWEST line in the history of fast food. We entered the line at 12:07 and waited in a four car line for 20 minutes just to get to the menu and be told that we needed to wait longer. Then we were asked two different times if we had ordered yet and, after saying yes both times, we were told that we needed to wait again. O my......what an AWFUL experience. Stopped by one evening late maybe around 10pm. Had not eaten all day. Was on the road and had just checked in to the Holiday Inn Express nearby. Ordered the chicken wings (with the honey sauce) and regular fries. Had about a 15 minute wait. Took it back to the hotel (5 mins away) to eat. First bite into chicken.....I pretty much gagged......cold and truly tasted NOTHING like chicken. Threw it in the trash. Fries were doused in salt............................Are u kidding me? CAN NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE!!???!! They are Assholes all the way! Here is a quick story. About 3 years ago we came and got some quick takeout in the drive through, Just 2 beef 'n cheddars and a large order (8 peices) of jalapeño popper. We sat in the car for 30 minutes before we got our food my friend literally took a nap while I waited! I remember this so vividly because of how wrong it went our order was even wrong! We were too tired to care. This year (2024) I was in Richfield with my family this time we were looking for some shakes and an order of jalapeño poppers. We decided we should go to a Arby's I told my family about my experience and they told me they had had a similar one. I told them I thought we should go 15 more minutes down to a town called Salina since it was on the way home anyways. We were too hungry. So we Decided to stop. We walked in and told them our order. They were unkind and acted like everything was a hassle when we finished ordering we waited 25 minutes for our food. After waiting we received our food as I went to grab the tray. I noticed the man dropped one of my jalapeño poppers on the floor. it was OK since accidents happen. After picking it up and throwing it away without acknowledging that it even happened, he did not give me another one or even apologize. I found this insulting after we had already waited so long for our food. if there was a 0 star review they would have it! Nobody deserves to eat there. However, I would recommend going 15 minutes north to a town called Salina and eating at their Arby's. They are much quicker and much friendlier if it is on your way do that if not eat anywhere else in that town. read more

Being a parent of a handicap child of my own It was great to see that he was there he greeted us with a smile at the counter. the young man walked up to the cash register as if he was going to take our order so not realizing he was handicapped we started to order but he just looked at us and stepped back and tried to get the attention of the cashier a blonde heavy set girl she snapped at him and said I'm busy right now and the young man took a step back from her and just looked at us confused and concerned about us then another man walked passed the register and said nothing we even had the drive through girl pass us with no words so we have rude inappropriate treatment of the handicapped person and poor customer service I will never come back to this establishment due to there reactions to customers and staff they need to be retrained in customer service and sensitive to people with disabilities my husband was so upset we left . I hope to never see the treatment of a person in the way she treated that young man if anyone treated my son like that.......... read more

We received the absolute worst service we've seen at a restaurant in sometime. It was unorganized chaos, employees yelling at each other, our order was received and typed in incorrectly, our entire order was not correct. The staff was rude and unattentive and unprofessional. It took almost 15 minutes to get our order. Noone was friendly, said hello or Thank you. We filed a complaint with Arby's Corporate as the Manager was so rude and acted as if we simply didnt deserve good service. We were in with our family and noone wants the go there again. Stopped by the drive-thru on Christmas Eve. The young girl who greeted us on the mic was so kind and so delightful. Seemed happy to be there and helping out. She went above and beyond for the three cars we noticed while in line and made sure to end each order with a happy 'have a great day, and merry Christmas'. It's not often you see such lively people in the drive-thru (especially on the holidays).... we were just traveling through and she certainly made our stop memorable! Her pink hair was fun too! Rudest service ever!!! I asked if i could have a refill or a new lemonade and was charged. Ok great so no refill i am getting a new one. Nope cant do refills. Well them i would have paid for a new one why did i get charged when i asked for either or. Try and explain to employee and she started yelling at me. This Arby's location is in a very accessible location right off of I-70. Right out the window is a scenic view of snow capped mountains. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my brisket sandwich and it was ready in a timely manner even with low staffing issues. Caught a couple judging glares from other customers and the music was uncomfortablely loud. That is why I cannot give it 5 stars. read more

I went with my extended family. We placed 3 separate orders. All 3 had multiple things wrong with their orders. The cashier was incompetent. He obviously didn't know the menu. He rang us up for the wrong sandwiches, which we didn't know until the food came out because they don't give you a receipt-- they put it on your tray and give it to you with the food at the end. They took food back behind the counter to add bacon to a salad they messed up on, and then gave it back to my mother in law. That violates health code food handler policies.
