It was so sweet and heartwarming! I usually do mobile order drive-through. There is no separate line for a drive through mobile pick up. It's all one line. Food has been pretty consistent. I was welcomed by a nice lady at the register who took my order. She helped me with a couple of questions I had because I wanted to try something new but also wanted to get one of the Mozzarella Corn Dogs. I ordered a couple of tacos this time. Both were on the spicy side but not a lingering, hot spicy...just a quick "bite back" spicy, if you know what I mean. One was a Spicy Pork and the other was Chicken Teriyaki but both had a similar amount of spice. Might have been the sauce used. Hubby ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box. It was really good as well. I like this location as it's closer to me than Troy but both have great service and food.

I grabbed a menu and began my search for my fated dish. Having always been a fan of teriyaki chicken, that's what I went ahead and ordered. The staff, in the little interaction I had was friendly and the food came out promptly. Unlike some teriyaki chicken, this was thankfully not fatty and made for a pleasant dining experience. The avocado was fresh, and the bottled sauces that were included offered incredible flavor! I would say, from the meal, my favorite dishes were the chicken itself the kimchi (which was extra) and the noodles pictured in the bottom right (which I do not know their name). They were cold, which I believe is how they are served but they were really good and meaty! The kimchi was delicious and paired SO well with the dish! My only complaints were with the rice and the drinks. I was not really a fan of the texture of the rice and the soda was a bit flat. Overall I would rate Kimchi box a 4/5. A charming and clean establishment in its own right and I would gladly go back, especially to have some revitalizing food on a cool rainy day!

My favorite sundae hands down is always the cashew caramel, they put so many toppings in it, it is fabulous every time. Last time we came, a few weeks ago, I got their flavor of the day, chocolate with chocolate cake, so amazing add cookie dough and so did my child. We also order so many other things. I've been to the one in Troy, it's not a location based issue. We were debating between Shake Shack and another Midwestern burger destination. The other place would have a better flavored burger, basically the same crinkle fries, and custard - all for a lower price point. I do like that the Big Shack I had had some thicker patties with some pink inside. That was the only virtue though. A Big Mac with the special sauce would have had a better result, even with its meager patties. I had the seasonal Sticky Toffee Pudding shake. It wasn't that great either. I had high hopes, they were not fulfilled. Maybe you just can't shoot for an eclectic option like that. It was nearly $42 with tip for two burgers, two shakes and one shared set of fries.
