I had high hopes, they were not fulfilled. Maybe you just can't shoot for an eclectic option like that. It was nearly $42 with tip for two burgers, two shakes and one shared set of fries. The kale slaw was good but not a true slaw and a bit dry for placement on a sandwich. The seasoning here vs HHC; has a bitter finish if you dont use the DHC sauce. However, the bun was better with DHC and held up well on the sandwich unlike HHC. The service was top notch, the cashier managed my party of 7- different orders patiently and was very pleasant. I honestly felt like they were grateful for our patronage. Dont see that too often! As with the competitor the pricepoint on these high end fast food joins is just too high. $20 for lunch is pretty high. Oh and of course they have the tipping option on the kiosk. I'd say the sauce in the cups was the only thing better than the competition but it, too, was almost indistinguishable from the other guys. But none of it was extraordinary. Nor did it have the zip and flavor and heat that you'd get with the no kidding Prince's Hot Chicken in Nashville. Also, the drink selection, short of buying the eclectic frozen drinks is a little less than wonderful. Pretty sure the competitor has iced tea which is a better choice than soda for this. One thing I did like was the decor with lots of automotive art including a Lamborghini Miura and a Porsche 911. I had a special request from my Dad, who lives an hour and a half away for his birthday. He requested I bring him coney dogs from Berkley. Although there are A&W's closer to him, he stated they are nothing like the ones from here. I'm very grateful that they took my order for four footlong coney dogs 20 minutes before closing. I zipped over in 15 minutes and they had them ready. They also packaged the chili and the onions separately for better reheating once I made it to my destination without the buns getting soggy.
