I wanted to stick with something lighter from JJ's and ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap Unwich, replacing the bread with lettuce. It was stuffed with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and sprinkled with cheese. It was made well with balanced flavor all the way through. I didn't miss the bead at all! It was the best option to have the indulgence of Jimmy John's without the carb guilt lol. I will definitely consider the Unwich option for some of my other favorites, like the Club Tuna or Turkey Tom. I have a new job in the area and have used this Jimmy John's 3 times. Very slow. Not freaky fast at all. One time the order was wrong (after calling they gave me a $7 coupon for next order) all the orders took more than an hour. One order was placed on the phone, not the app. When the driver finally arrived he made sure to remind me that I didn't have a tip on the order yet. I haven't used this location in years, and now I remember why. First of all I used the website for a group order and it took almost ten minutes for my team member to get the email. Took approximately 35 minutes (which is hours in Jimmy John's time) for them to arrive. Apparently the delivery driver wrote down my number wrong? The store called me (attitude, no pleasantries) and said the driver is trying to call me. I said my phone number is correct. The store called me two more times and I confirmed obviously the driver has the wrong number, and someone is downstairs to get my order. The store calls me back not even one minute later to say "no one is there" when I said "I just sent someone down there", she starts talking to someone else then hangs up on me! I open it up and I said no Mayo, which they got that part, but I like guac and spent the extra $1 for more and got NONE on my sub. I went to this JJ at 7:30PM on Wednesday March 15, 2023. When I walked up to the register the cashier literally screamed at an ear-ringing level, then said "sorry sorry" and proceeded to do it again. My partner and I were stunned and I almost walked out. I'm not sure if they were on drugs or just messing around, but even when they made my sandwich it wasn't quick. Freaky fast? This Jimmy John's was pretty average - I could have done without the lackadaisical attitude offered by the employees, as well as the clear cutting in line that was allowed for a "regular" customer who edged his way right in front of me as I was about to place my order. Gripes aside, the interior had ample seating and was very clean. Music was ambient and made the ambiance casual and inviting. Parking lot was easy to access from two separate entrances and at dinner time during a weeknight, there was no shortage of parking at the Auburn Pointe shopping center. Bonus star added for the employee at this JJs and all other JJ pros who can wrap me up a lean, mean "unwich" lettuce wrap. It takes mad skills to wrap up a breadless sandwich that neither leaks, nor unfurls, nor doesn't contain the inevitable extra load of veggies and avocado spread I've requested. Bummer there's no outdoor seating; I went next door to Biggby Coffee to order a beverage so that I could enjoy the crisp evening al fresco dining in the parking lot on their chairs. read more

Big place, limited parking spots - competing with Biggy's for the lunch crowd. Its a young crew behind the counter - more interested in their own banter than speeding up the line of customers. Typical for Jimmy John;s - menu and speed - its a little easier to find than the Subway down the street that seems to be hind in their strip mall. When my boyfriend and I are being especially lazy, we order JJ's from this location. It is literally a 5 minute drive away, but we have found it to be the slowest Jimmy Johns delivery experience. I don't get it. Order on one end, pick up on the other. Every Jimmy John's I've been to (and there are many) is set up this way. Why the Auburn Hills location isn't, is a complete mystery. Thankfully, I had ordered online. When I arrived, the employee area was virtually packed with black-shirted employees, who seemed lost. Great sandwich, bad service. It's clearly tailored to the lunch rush crowd. When I went there were a ton of employees behind the counter and none of them actually wanted to talk to the customers. Efficient assembly line set up, but a bit discerning if you're not expecting it. Then when my sandwich was ready it was just plopped on the counter and someone called out the sandwich number. I didn't know the number because I ordered by name. The girl behind the counter just stared at me blankly and didn't respond when I asked the name. I checked the menu, figured it was mine and left. I will never return to this one again. I have been to this location twice so far, and both visits were my worst visits to any Jimmy John's. I love Jimmy John's and have been to many locations all over the Metro Detroit area. My experience in all of them besides this location has been extremely positive. This store is TERRIBLE. The layout is confusing and the staff is rude and very slow. Called to have lunch delivered only to be told that the delivery time would be an hour to an hour and a half???!!!??? I thought one of the main selling points is how fast delivery is? I've order from this location many times and for a quick sub at a decent price it's good. Today the delivery driver couldn't get to the room in the building I was in so just set my order down on a table near the building door and left and called me from their car saying they couldn't get to me then explained where they left my food. Absolutely rude unfortunately I put down a tip when I placed the order. Maybe if I didn't they would have hung around until I walked out to the main door. Then when I opened my sandwich noticed the back looked like old leather and tasted just as bad so that part of my sandwich went straight to the trash. Decided to call and let the manager know what happened I wasn't looking for a refund or a replacement sandwich as I ate the rest of mine minus the bacon but wanted to let them know about the quality of food and service and the response I got was in looking at our bacon now it looks fine to me. Who designed the drive-thru??! If you come from the south side of the building, the location of the finger pointing that says drive thru is just confusing, it may make you enter on the wrong side. Then, there is the actual drive-thru lane... What the...?!! It is like Lombard street in San Francisco. Delivery took one hour and I my work is only 2 minutes from the location. The were very confused when called to ask where my order was and I got a "we are very busy" attitude. When the order finally arrived to my work I was told that it is a lot quicker if you order before 11. I guess the commercials should be changed to "we are freaky fast.....if you order before 11" if you are after 11.......well we are kind of FREAKY SLOW!!
