The bagels here were amazing. I will definitely be going back again. I need to buy more in the menu to get a better deal. What's my favorite there but it is welcomed read more

Ordered my food to go. Didn't expect my small sandwich to be this small but it was actually extremely filling. For the love of all Reuben's ever, please add my sauerkraut to this sandwich! Don't get me wrong, the meat was delicious, the sandwich just needed a little extra of something. As seen in the photos my order was placed to go so I can't say much about service. The place did have a cozy interior though. read more

Delicious! I seen them on a delivery service and said let's give them a try. I ordered a small big mouth minus the Russian and it was a nice size sandwich. The meat, bread and cheese was all great together. I ordered fried and they were amazing. I really enjoy the type of fries and the amount. I could have ordered a small because of how much was in there. Only thing I didn't care for was the coleslaw. And I'm a big fan of slaw, but something was lacking in this one. I plan to try their dine in one day. But most definitely will order from here again happily. read more

Food and ambiance sub standard Ordered a sub. Stale bread and very little meat. Dirty bar ambiance

A perfect deli with enough seating for family and friends, A Bar with all the basic good stuff, Service that is both fast and friendly. Sandwiches go from classics to creative. They come with 3 weight categories, so you can really pile it on if you want to. I can also highly recommend their salads which I find to be delightfully fresh and of excellent portion. I've had delivery, I've stopped by to pick it up, (and enjoyed an excellent IPA while I waited) and we've sat in the restaurant. All of it was delightful.. read more

We ordered from Bronx Deli as a business expecting consistency and professionalism, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing. When placing our order, we were clearly told we'd receive a 15% discount, which was then changed to 10%, and ultimately removed entirely without any clear explanation. On top of that, there seemed to be tension because we didn't leave a tip on a pickup order--which shouldn't be expected in the first place. Instead of handling things professionally, it felt like the discount situation was influenced by that, which is not how a business should operate. If you're going to offer pricing or discounts, honor them. Changing terms after the fact and making customers feel uncomfortable is not a good look. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to trust ordering from here again. read more

Chicken matzo ball soup was awesome and I had the number three the Ginsberg bomber which is corned, beef and pastrami and Swiss cheese. I it them toasted and I had the coleslaw and the Russian dressing on the side. Sorry, but I ate the food before I remembered to take the picture so yeah read more

The Santa Fe salad will change your life. I'm not joking. Don't wait. Drive there now.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the fries deserved a star of their own. This is my first time ever going here due to it being recommended by an acquaintance. When I receive the food, I originally thought I got the wrong order because I've never seen cheese sticks look like spring rolls! When I tried the egg rolls, I was very impressed with how large they were, but unfortunately, after taking two bites of it, I started gagging and throwing up immediately afterwards due to the meat itself. I called the restaurant to discuss returning part of my order due to my dissatisfaction with the food, and the employee I spoke with agreed that I could do so. I had ordered six items that were packaged in two separate bags of three. Since I had already opened one bag and eaten one item from it, I chose to keep that portion, even though I was unhappy with the overall meal. When I returned the unopened portion, I also mentioned that I did not enjoy the cheese sticks. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me responded with a poor attitude. She rolled her eyes, took the food from my hands in an abrasive manner, and ignored my questions as I tried to confirm that returning the items was acceptable. From the time I initially picked up my order to the return process, the customer service was disappointing. I also was not provided with any receipt or confirmation for the return. Based on both the quality of the food and, more importantly, the unprofessional customer service I experienced, I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan to return. read more

The absolute worst corned beef sandwich I've ever tried. I can't believe I spent $12 on this. The bread was old, thin and dry. Nothing like a Jewish rye should be. There was supposed to be Russian on. It could barely taste anything. All I could taste was like a chemical smell on the beef. Don't waste your time or money on this Deli! read more

Amazing meats. All of them. Whatever you get will be better on grilled sourdough and with a mountain of fries, an "old" pickle and a Vernors from the tap. Service is consistently good, decor is downtown NYC vibes and the regulars are friendly. read more

Friendly staff ... ordered Italian sub and big mouth corned beef. In from Ohio, both where great, true deli sandwiches. No shortage of meat. Also they have dining area, was really nice looking, but we took ours to go. Definitely will hit it up again read more

The food is very good and I highly recommend it. I used grubhub for delivery. The food was not delivered and grubhub was useless in getting a refund or contacting the driver. As the driver left without a photo and we checked houses nearby, I believe this was intentional on the driver's part. I tried calling the driver and he refused to answer and his voicemail was conventionaly full! Bronx deli did say they would reach out to grubhub so they went above in their response to this situation. I highly recommend them but don't use Grubhub. read more

Thanks to the Bronx Deli for offering delivery! I am currently in town for a limited amount of time and trying to squeeze in as much as possible, including some quality time with my parents who are residing in two different places at the moment. So... when my dad told me he was craving a pastrami sandwich on rye, I immediately looked on yelp to find a highly rated deli to deliver and Bronx Deli is what I selected... I went with a large sandwich and had it split, which in theory would be great, but because my dad enjoyed the first half so much, he went in for more right away! He would have preferred old dill pickles, but what was sent was just fine, packaged well, and delivered in a timely manner. Happy dad = happy daughter! Needless to say, I would definitely recommend this deli and use them again for delivery or potentially go check it out to dine in too. read more

I was at the Deli a week ago and will NEVER go back. The food is great but when I got my bill - they charged me .50 for butter to grill my sandwich. That is complete crap and I cannot believe how cheap they are. Do they charge me for the oil to fry my fries?.. read more

Always can count on a great sandwich even if your eating in it's a very relaxing experience

Very disappointed. First time I thought my "Big mouth" corned beef sandwich was terrible. Shredded corned beef that was stringy and tasteless on very stale, dry rye bread. Not at all like prior visits. Nice people working there but hoping they improve on quality. read more

Da Bronx ya fuffernutter! Yo, youse guys need to come down to this New Yarwk style deli and get the Reuben! Bro, the Yanks come here after sweeping the Sawks! Grandmaster Flash and the boys DJ Bronx style, and don't forget to visit the Bronx Zoo! Good sandwiches as well! read more

I've tried the Bronx Deli a few times now and have tried a few different sandwiches, one being the Reuben and the other being Hectors spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich was the bomb!! Whatever the hot pepper mix is, makes the sandwich. The Reuben on the other hand isn't my favorite, not bad but not my favorite. You can order sizes small, large, and huge. When I inquired on what the difference between a large and huge is, I believe I was told a quarter more of meat, which really isn't much since it's not more sauerkraut, cheese, or thousand island. I like the Bronx but I found a closer deli that I would prefer their Reuben's over but I would get that chicken sandwich again sometime soon. I also like that this deli serves a handful of beer. read more

I am nothing but disappointed. I paid with a credit card and they said it did not go through even after I showed them on my end it went through. I then called my bank because I paid for a large amount of carry out, to confirm it went through. The workers were rolling their eyes and annoyed that I was calling my bank. I was then told I needed to pay again so I did on my credit card. Both charges went through, and I am very upset about how the entire thing played out with the rude workers. I will not be returning. read more

Food was great and came out quickly. was not busy which was nice. 2:30 pm on a Saturday. our server who was Sara I believe was so extremely rude. I even asked if she was ok. Still tipped 25% but typically would have been double that. This was my first negative experience there since about 20010. Serving isn't easy but your performance determines your wage. Be kind. Nothing beats a good sandwich on a frigid cold day. There weren't a lot of people here when I arrived, but they started slowly making their way in and it got busy. Thankfully Ana, my server, was very quick and attentive. Both the fries and sandwich I ordered were the smallest possible sizes, yet the entire order was large enough to feed 2 people in my opinion. Menu is robust and the dining room is inviting. My only real complaint were the fries, which didn't blow me away. I felt like they were delicious with the gravy or ketchup, but by themselves left a lot to be desired. Overall though this was a great meal and service and I think they're far more reasonably priced compared to other delis of similar quality read more

I was in town only 16 days. Family friends brought me here on the third night. The food and ambiance were so incredible that I came back twice more--for my husband's first night in town, and on his last. The corned beef WAS something to write home about. Or to Yelp, as you'd have it :P I rarely get to eat corned beef, so I absolutely ordered it on a sandwich. The meat was very generous; my table-mates gave me their extra slices of bread to make my leftovers as a sandwich. The most interesting menu item I tried was the corned beef egg roll. Like, what?! But, oh my gosh, more please!). My husband liked the corned beef so much that he vowed to come back that second time for the Meat Mountain! (And he succeeded in eating the entire portion of corned beef, without even being motivated by the challenge to get his picture on the wall.) Not only all this, but the service was incredibly welcoming, too. As a footnote to my 5-star review, my only comment on the menu is regarding the mac'n'cheese fries. These were billed as "but fries instead." Alas, they were more akin to extra-cheesy cheese fries. And while the melted cheese was good, it was all on the top and not the kind of cheese sauce you might expect for a mac'n'cheese inspired dish. Overall, I was extremely happy here. I didn't come here for 3 dinners out of 16 for nothing. Keep it up! read more

Best sandwiches around! Food is always great and if you order delivery it's the only place that always gets the order right!

One of my favorite delis! Friendly staff, and a great menu! When I am here it is all about the corned beef, but don't miss out of their fries and the various season fries (I like garlic parmesan). And also the matzo ball soup is fantastic. I like to come here on a regular basis. They are well set up for the covid-conscious diner as well. Partitions, tented outside areas (which the had before, with heaters so they were already in a good position. They also have a great carry-out system as well... which, well... it's a deli! Of course they have a good carry out system! read more

CORN BEEF!!! I love me some CORN BEEF and when it's good...God, I'm happy. Started out our "Food day" with my siblings here on the 16th of March. They of course, were gearing up for St. Patty's day and in good form, they had some amazing corned beef for eating...and did we. Outside of having a great hot sandwich, I also opted for the Corned Beef egg rolls and they rocked!! Great idea and well done! This Is a fun place serving up simple, delicious vittles. A must try in my onion and home for many locals. Enjoy read more

Again, not a letdown. Bronx cheese sticks were filled and not factory-made hunks of breaded garbage. The sandwich? Delicious, and with a little spice from the pickled pepper mix. Macaroni salad? Meh, could use a little more flavor like some paprika or something to round out the Mayo flavor, but not a complete disappointment. Nevertheless, another great meal. read more

Wow, how have I lived in the area for 7 years and never tried this place??!! The food is amazing, freshly made and piled high with quality ingredients. The interior is clean, comfortable and inviting. Our waitress served us promptly and offered refills before we finished our drinks. I had the Slim Russ grilled panini (#18-1/2) and finished half. My husband had the Big Mouth Turkey (#6-1/2) and managed to finish it off. Both were so good! They were served with "new" pickles, so I asked the waitress about "old" pickles and she offered to bring me one to try. I really preferred the old pickle, it has that briny taste I want.
