I enjoy the sandwiches on the menu at Arby's so stopped into the Newberry SC store for a quick lunch. Great service, clean store, friendly staff and the best meal I've had in a long time at a fast food restaurant!! Hot, fresh and no skimping on portions!! A great value. Let me start by saying I have never left a rating for a fast food restaurant. On our way home to Florida and stopped for lunch. Clean restaurant, friendly service, and fresh food. Spent 35 dollars on lunch from my family, watched an employee drop the toy on the floor and then put it in the bag with my child's food. Was told they would cook fresh nuggets and fries, when I tasted one on the way home it was not hot like it should be if it was straight out of fryer. Called the manager and she told me I was lying and she was looking at fresh nuggets. I will never go back to this restaurant seeing as how I can get a good sit down meal for the same amount of money. read more

If you're going to this Arby's you may want to call first to see if they really have the meats. They don't tonight. The James Earl Jones sounding fellow on the commercial must not be talking about this particular location. No turnovers either but cook did say he could thaw out some chicken if I wanted that. If I wanted chicken I would have gone to KFC or Zaxbys. Seemed adequately staffed considering they had nothing much to cook. So next time I want a chicken sandwich and no dessert I may give them a call and have them thaw that chicken out but I doubt it. One star because I had to. read more

Tried the new Smoke Mountain sandwich. Another winner for Arby's! This Arby's is clean, comfortable and friendly. Service was fast.

Only giving one star because I can't give 0. Had to write a review before even leaving the store because the service was atrocious as was the wait time. On top of the staff rudely responding to our driving up in the first place, she made us repeat each item several times and cut us off very rudely every time. All of this rudeness occurred before we even arrived to the drive through window, just for nothing to be correct. After having to send someone back to get our corrected drink order because water was too difficult to understand, we had to come inside in order to stop holding up the drive through line and were treating EXTREMELY rudely and the staff were very hostile towards us. They were very unconcerned with how long it took and were rude to us for rightly being concerned our drive through experience was taking so long and four cars had passed us already. Once we were finally given our food, we had to go back to get what we actually ordered and the extremely rude 2 staff members from before argued with us about what we had ordered. she insisted we had ordered a wrap because "our order confused her so she left to confirm it with someone" we were never told and she didn't confirm with us. assuming we wanted a wrap and checking with someone else instead of us was bad customer service and could be explained by a simple oversight but the staff were so extremely rude and hostile towards us just for asking for what we ordered that we almost asked for our money back and went to a place that could get it right but didn't because we worried the staff would just turn that into another ordeal for us. The restaurant was in disarray and not very clean. It looks like this is one of the older buildings that Arby's franchise owns. Save your time it's about three miles off the interstate. Further the day that I visited the credit card machines were not operational. I will not be coming back to this location ever! read more

Let me preface this review by saying that the only reason this place is getting a positive rating from me is because of a cashier named Greg. On the way home from Columbia, my husband and I decided to stop in for a quick pit stop before heading home. I used the facilities and surprisingly they were really clean when normally they are okay but not the cleanest I have ever been in. When I came out to order some food, there was a little guy at the cash register named Greg staring back at me. He was courteous and kind all while being personable and polite. He called me "ma'am" repeatedly and had a light and bubbly personality. Oddly enough, I knew that I had never seen him there before. Any other time we have stopped in, it has always been kind of loud and the majority of the kitchen staff just stands around chattering. This time it was different. He made it different. The staff in the kitchen still decided to gossip and carry on while making the orders but Greg was working...I warned him about my tomato allergy and he told the people in the kitchen but had to repeat himself a few times because they were too busy talking to each other. When my order was complete, I stood by the soda fountain with my husband and was amazed by the fact that he was actually doing some work. We have been in this place repeatedly and all anyone ever does is stand around. I didn't hear anyone ask him to do anything, he was just doing it. That's refreshing. You never see kids actually wanting to work these days...Better yet, you never see anyone, including adults, wanting to work for anything. He was a good kid and I could tell. I asked him what his name was because I didn't want to be staring at his name tag like I was scoping him out. He told me his name and once again he called me ma'am. I told him that I appreciated the courtesy and before we left, he asked if we wanted for him to check our food, just in case. I checked it myself and it was okay. I think deep down from one allergy veteran to another, he wanted to make sure that the few in the kitchen making sandwiches didn't mess it up due to not being able to hear or listen properly. I appreciate that a lot. Sometimes it's the little things that make you memorable to others and for once I feel like someone cares whether or not I have an allergic reaction due to someone else's lack of caring and attention. Good job, Greg and I hope that this review and my call to corporate pushes you farther up the chain of command. read more
