I hadn't had their curly fries in quite some time--they were especially good, with a well-balanced, flavorful seasoning. A few areas for improvement:    -There was liquid on the floor that should have been promptly cleaned up.    -The honey mustard dispenser was empty.    -A rat trap was visible outside the restaurant near the window seating area, which detracts from the dining experience and would be better kept out of sight. read more

Went to LongHorn Steakhouse last night for dinner after my nephew's graduation. They wouldn't seat us until our entire party arrived so I headed to the bar because I was starving. I decided to try the Dragon Fruit Margarita (see pic) it looked cute in the little glass with the black top (I think it's a shaker glass?), but it wasn't strong at all. What confused me was the amount of ice. Ice in the shaker and in the margarita glass you're supposed to pour it into. Pro tip: just sip it straight out of the shaker they give you so it's less diluted. While waiting, I ordered food at the bar and decided to try the much-hyped Wild West Shrimp and Spicy Chicken Bites. The Spicy Chicken Bites were honestly great. Juicy with a solid kick that wasn't overwhelming. They tossed enough sauce on them so I didn't need the extra container they gave me which was a nice touch since I ordered it to go. The Wild West Shrimp was a letdown. Way too small. Almost popcorn shrimp sized. They give you a mountain of them, but I would've much preferred a smaller portion with medium or large shrimp. Quantity doesn't always equal quality. The briny pickle peppers were okay at first, but the flavor wore thin fast. I think some fresh hot peppers, garlic, and flash-fried onions could elevate the dish big time. Service at the bar was... fine. When I received my order, it was wrong (spinach dip instead of Wild West Shrimp). When I pointed it out, the young lady told me she had repeated it back to me, which . . . . ok. I guess "spinach dip" and "Wild West Shrimp" sound similar if you're multitasking? They fixed it and took the dip back, so no harm done. Overall, the experience was a mix. I'd go back for the chicken bites and maybe try another drink, but I'll be skipping the shrimp the Dragon Fruit Margarita next time. read more

The flavors of Arby's have always been flavorfully unique from other sandwich shops and fast food restaurants . . . . and definately in a good way. Arby's has been my go to treat sincce my college days (5 roast beef sandwiches for $5 back then) and i still look forward to going. It's great that the come out with innovative new offerings so often now (still waiting for Arby's to come out with a chili cheese dog) so when they announce steak nuggets . . . . I came running. Admittedly, the didn't look all that appealing, and 5 seemed a little stingy, but they definately didn't disappoint on flavor! Definately worth giving a try. I went through the drive thru at this Arby's in Jessup. I ordered a 6 piece nuggets with Buffalo sauce. I got to the window and a woman (who is the manager) took my money and askedme to wait by the door. I thanked her then drove up to the waiting area as requested. I waited, and waited. I'll give this detail ... I'm a white guy and I have a rainbow sticker on my rear bumper (you know, cause I'm a gay guy) I waited 15 minutes where this manager (black & female) asked me to wait. During thit time, 3 other vehicles, driven by black people, completed their transactions, in addition to 2 black male pedestrians entered and left the building, bags in hand. Irritated, I blasted my horn for 15 seconds. I mean, what should I do at this point.. go in and beg? I waited 10 more minutes. Other vehicles... driven by black drivers, came and went, as did other black pedestrian traffic. (I live in Jessup, MD... white people are minorities here... a fact that does not bother me in the slightest (if you're a single older black gay male looking an older white gay man hmu!)) At 25 minutes of waiting I blasted my horn again. I called rather restaurant, but no one bothered to pick up the phone. I shut my car off...(still parked in the designated area this manager told me to wait in) and I went into the restaurant. Admittedly, I was annoyed and surly. I had to summon my inner Karen and ask for the manager. The woman who "helped" me in the drive-thru said she was. I told her I had beeped and called and waited 25 minutes for 6 chicken nuggets. She immediately pointed at another black woman working in the back and said. .something. I noticed at this point, I was white person in the restaurant... both customer and employee accessed. I was pretty hot at this point... I mean I waited 25 minutes for 6 freaking nuggets. I told the manager she didn't care for my buisness because I am white, then I left and drove home. I couldn't determine if I didn't get served because of incompetence or racism, but I didn't get my 6 chicken nuggets. This is probably the worst run Arby's of all. Did you know they "Have the Meats" but all their stuff is frozen? Sometimes they put a sign on the door of the Dining Room is locked because they have trouble finding people to work there? Employees use cell phones at work in front of customers. They also use nasty oil for frying their food. Never been a fan of their Curly Fries because they are just nasty tasting to me. To be honest, I always liked their Rueben and the Market Sandwiches, but frozen Corned Beef? NO Way! Maybe they can't find good employees in creepy Jessup, Maryland? I got off of I95 in search of an Arby's to take advantage of the $1.00 menu and although the electronic menu desolated the $1.00 options as "Any slider, small fries and a small drink or snack size shake the general manager Brian came out to look at the electronic board and to tell us that although it is displaying on the board, this Arby's does not honor that menu and there was nothing he could do about it! The woman at the drive thru window was also very rude even when My daughter and I asked about the promotion. I've patronized Arby's before so I was throughly shocked at my dining experience this time. They seemed short staffed as one person was working the register, another person the drive through whom was also switching back and forth between that and assisting with making orders. I think there were others but only heard voices. With that being said the place wasnt crowded nor was there an issue with the time frame of me receiving my order. My issue was the food was terrible. I ordered a three piece chicken tender meal with a small fries and drink. The chicken tenders tasted stale and old like it was left over from a previous day frozen then refried. How I know I've heated up frozen chicken tenders in a microwave and had the same issue lol. It was very chewy and tasteless even to pull it apart by hand gave resistance. The sauce couldn't assist with flavor. The fries even though small was broken pieces of curly fries like when you get towards the end of the bag and only have crumbs. Not a full curly fry was in the container. I was very unhappy with the quality of the food served here. Usually I take a picture of my food but it wasnt even worth it. I wont be returning. read more

Ordered my food for carryout. When I got home (about 8 miles) and opened my order, I had 3 slices of beef on my roll. I didn't go back that evening, but did the next day. I asked for the manager, to whom I told her what had happened. She said that must of been last night ( Sunday) and I said yes. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who had a problem. My "Max" was delicious as Arby's as were the curly fries (though the decent sized ones were only on top and the bottom was all bits). In the lunch rush, it seemed that the kitchen had lots of problems getting sandwiches prepared. Of me and four other people who ordered after me, my sandwich was prepared last. The second time I went there they put my food on a tray to dine in and it was supposed to be Togo. A few of my co workers, including myself we decided to have lunch at Arby's. We went through the drive through. Everyone's ordered was completely wrong. There were two fish sandwich meals and a burger meal. The burger meal was supposed to have potato bites instead of fries and ended up with french fries. The two fish sandwiches were actually roast beef sandwiches. By the time we made it back to the office we had realized that our food was incorrect. By that time our break was over. Its Arby's a typical fast food place. I have never really been a fan of their food. I was working in the area and it was either here or McDonald's for my meal. I opted for here. Today 2/10/2022! The African American man working the drive thru with the lady named Sia was so rude! I told him to remove the fries from my order and he proceeded to call me broke and cheap! It's an Arby's! Why are you giving it four stars? I love Arby's as much as the next one, but that is kind of crazy. Their food is pretty a-ok. I am still hating the fact that they didn't keep the deep fried cheesecake desert. That was about the best thing on the planet, and I would have made an appearance on the Biggest Loser if they didn't get rid of them. This particular Arby's is pretty hit or miss. There are a couple of really good cashiers, and a couple that seem lost. Aren't there all these unemployed people in the US right now? I would think we could get better people to work the register. The cleanliness of the restaurant is usually pretty shabby too, even for a fast food place. I am always hunting for a clean booth to sit in. We were there at 11ish pm the restaurant inside was empty just us there, and the drive thru seemed very slow too! However the service was fast and friendly! A recommended pit stop for any road trip through the state of Maryland. Great place, clean environs, wonderful food, nice employees, several plaques up on the wall noting their community outreach such as a free boxed lunches program for military families. The Arby's was not very crowded at all when I went, depsite its proximity to the I-95 beltways and the proximity to dinner time. They have lots of Arby's menu items and combos to choose from. I have ordered from this location many times over the last decade, always drive-thru. This was my first dine-in experience. The food and service was great as usual but the women's room smelled horribly. I gagged and literally lost my lunch from the stench of stale urine and chemicals that permeated the room. I am a Mother to two small children so I deal with my fair share of bodily functions and the smells they produce. I rarely gag and have never emptied my stomach because of them! Also, the toilets themselves are in bad shape. On one the tank lid was obviously broken and replaced but the replacement does not fit properly and could easily slide off if someone tried to use it for leverage (this was the handicapped stall), the other has a seat that is so badly worn half of the finish is gone and you seen the pressboard core. Okay, so this is a bit far from New Orleans, but it makes my NOLA '11 list because after coming back from the airport, we were hungry and craving those delicious roast beef sandwiches (from walking by the big and grand Arby's on Canal and Decatur everyday). Thank you, Yelp, for helping us find this place while en route back home to DC. The sign said the dining room was open until 11, but they were locked up and cleaning inside and it was only around 10. It was fine, though, because the drive thru was open and we were happy eating our roast beefs (with plenty of Arby and Horsey sauce) in the car. Arby's, we aren't there more of you in the city???
