I initially met Dr Saba at the hospital after we delivered my beautiful baby girl. He did the welfare check on us and I was impressed. I continued to use him as my daughters Dr but over time, them moving, us moving & us changing insurance we found ourself seeing another Dr. I ended up finding Dr Saba again so I ended up changing back to his practice and am so glad. He treats my daughter like he knows her, like family. I've had the pleasure of interacting with the other Dr's & staff as well & have always had a good experience. I love Dr. Saba. We just saw his for our baby boys 1st well check and he was so patient and fun. He showed us a cute way to help have fun with a fussy baby and gave us a parenting book. I really wish I would have seen him in the hospital. If you're looking for a ped for your new baby, I really would have Dr. Saba see your child. We had a bunch of worries with our 2 day old and he was just so calm and assured us that our baby is just fine. After the doctor visit, we felt SO much better. We have been seeing Dr Seitter for 5 years. Each time we are in he treats us like strangers. The whole office is rude, especially his assistant. I don't know why I have stayed so long, I guess I'm just a loyal patient and I don't want to start the whole pediatrician search over again. Dr. Sietter and Dr. Saba are uneducated about autism. I was worried about my boy since he was about a year old due to lack of speech. They both ignored my concerns and Dr. Sietter even said he couldn't have autism because autistics wouldn't even know if you were dead in a corner. He said my son couldn't be autistic bc he's so engaging (as my son was mindlessly opening and closing a drawer) and that he's so cute. I'm sorry but autism is a SPECTRUM disorder. I took my son to the Melmed center for a second opinion and he was diagnosed right away, which led my son to speech and occupational therapy services and now, thank GOD, my son speaks!!! Initially met Dr. Saba at the hospital when he did the welfare check of our newborn son. Love him, and his bedside manner and sense of humor. Too bad the front office staff as well as the billing woman are miserably rude. I have been to 6 wellness visits with my son so far and each time I had to wait at least 45 minutes to see the doctor. Just last week, I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room and decided enough was enough after having my healthy child sit amongst a revolving door of sick and coughing children with no end in sight or update from the front desk girl. Sad that I have to find another pediatrician, because he wasn't the problem, the overbooking and front end staff was. read more

When we first starting going to this doctor's office we were very happy and pleased. Unfortunately, things went bad and I will not recommend this pediatrics facility to anyone. I called at 3:50 asking if there was anyway to bring my daughter. The lady that answered the phone put me for 30 minutes. When she finally picked up the phone I asked her if she knew how long I was on the phone? She said do you want to make an appointment as too ignore my question. I said I have been on hold for 30 minutes she came back at me with full force and said it is a Monday and 2 people called in today so we are doing the best we can. I feel very uneasy about a pediatrician's office putting a parent on hold for 30 minutes because that is the best they can do. So after I got yelled at for it being a Monday I again explained I need to bring in my daughter and again I was put on hold. Then after being on hold for an additional 10 minutes I was told there were no available appointment's left for today. I told the nurse that I had requested my children's medical records 2 months ago and I want to know where they are (due to a very bad experience I had with the doctor a few months before this episode) and again I was put on hold. I finally arrived at the doctor's office with phone in hand and still on hold. By the time I got to the office I had been on hold for 45 minutes because that is the best they can do. I was at the office for another 30 minutes while 3 different employees told me one lie after another on where my kids medical records were. So if you calculate it all up I was dealing with them for one hour and 15 minutes and in all of that time someone could of seen my daughter. I gave this office 2 chances with my kids and that was 2 chances too many. One last note...When my son was sick with RSV and I was trying to get ahold of the office I had to leave a message with triage and it took them 3 hours to get back to me. They told me they had lunch that is what took so long. I was already in the ER when they called back and ended up in the ICU of children's hospital that night. read more

WONT BE BACK Our first office visit for our daughters pku test seemed to go fine. Then the nurse that did the prick came in. Most pediatricians warm the baby's heel so it doesn't hurt as bad, but these guys didn't. not sure why. The nurse that did the prick didn't even get the bandaid on our baby's heel all the way so it fell off immediately and she was bleeding on the floor. Literally, drops of blood on the floor. I've never seen a baby bleed like that for a pku test and this was our third baby. The nurse didn't even do anything, just walked out as fast as possible. Just got the bill for our hospital visit and our first office visit and I about had a heart attack. They charged about $700 for spending two minutes with the baby. Insane! On top of that, for our first visit they charged over $200 just for the well visit part which I had previously been told would be $80. I specifically called before establishing our daughter as a paitent to find out this information. As far as Dr. Seitter himself I agree with the comment that he gives off the impression you don't know what you're talking about. We had to repeatedly tell him even in the hospital that this was our third child. We pretty much know what we're doing at this point. I don't write many reviews. This peds office was so bad I felt I should let people know. Hopefully this will save someone reading it some time and probably a whole lot of money. read more

Left this office over a year ago because Dr. Seitter is so rude! Actually told me at my sons shot appointment that it's not an appointment for asking questions. The assistant was also horribly rude too until I started giving her tons of compliments every time we went in. We have been going to Dr Seitter for over 3 years now and have always had a wonderful experience! I met Dr Seitter when pregnant with my daughter who just turned 3 & we now have a son who is 5 months. Dr Seitter does a great job listening (I ask a lot of questions) and giving guidance. I think there are a lot of doctors that would just tell you one way of doing something, but Dr Seitter is great at giving options and suggestions rather than a "one size fits all" approach. We didn't have a problem getting our daughter to sleep through the night which she did by 3 months but we have been struggling with our son. Dr Seitter recommended a book by Dr. Richard Ferber & within 3 days after following his progressive approach to CIO, he was sleeping through the night and has been for 5 nights now! Dr. Seitter's nurse does a phenomenal job with both our kids! Shots are never fun but she does them very efficiently which we are very grateful for! The staff at pediatric medical associates is wonderful; if any one of our kids is sick they are always able to work us in. I've never been on hold long when calling the office & we've never had to wait long in the office even when being squeezed in. I would recommend Dr Seitter and pediatric medical associates to anyone! read more

Since my children were infants, they have been patients at Pediatric Medical Associates. Through the years they have visited the office for a variety of issues and have been seen by almost every doctor. The office staff and doctors are all very nice and scheduling is rarely an issue. read more

Brought my son for his first visit to establish care and to update his shots. Dr. Seitter didn't talk about milestones needing to watch for spent about five minutes speaking to us. Nurse had no personality and could care less that we were there, when leaving the nurse at the front desk called a little infant "a cry baby" ... disgusted at the lack of care or interest in the patients by the nurses and front desk. This doctors office was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had to take my son to the emergency room because he had an eye infection that caused his eye start bleeding, the doctor there told me to follow with the primary the next day and so I called them and scheduled an appointment and I had them double check my insurance to make sure that they take it. I have a primary and a secondary. They told me everything would be fine and that I can come in. But when I get there they tell me they can't take my primary and they will not bill my secondary and that I can pay cash to have my sons eye look at because it was an emergency situation. I don't even know where to begin...... This office is horrible, the staff is horrible. It's as if every one of them hates kids. They never take vitals on the kids as that can be one of the most simple indicators of something being wrong. My son was recently diagnosed with a chronic disease. We had to be seen for a hospital follow up and a vaccine. The dr walked in and literally had the audacity to say to my child " so, been having fun huh?" Dealing with his condition and recently being discharged from the hospital and that's what he chooses to say? Didn't look at him or myself for the 2 whole minutes he was in there. Looked at the wall the entire time. Didn't bother to ask him how he was feeling. Asked nothing! The medical assistant then comes in and again says nothing to my son. Hands me the paper to sign, stabs him in the arm with the shot and walks out. Beyond disgusted with this place! Very surprised they haven't lost all business. read more

I took my 2 kids to see Dr. Sietter for about a year and a half (2 years old - 3.5 years old and 0-15 months). The only reason I took them here for that long is because Dr. Sietter is a decent doctor. The front desk personell are rude and look annoyed that you are signing in. A different person collects the money after the check up. That person gave me a balance and then later, I got a bill for the co-pay. It turns out that she just collected for the immunization while I was there but forgot to collect my co-pay. The physician's assistant does not likes kids. She does not have any symphathy for the child getting a shot, she does not smile and also looks annoyed when weighing them in. The billing department is the one that made me stop going. They had sent me a bill on 2/16/15 regarding a service date in December. When I called to ask about it, she treated me like I had stolen her money. She said that she was going to take me to collections because it was passed 60 days overdue. All I had to do was call my insurance company and tell them that I did not have any secondary insurance. I would give zero stars if I could! I've been to this doctor office for my son since he was two weeks, he's now almost 4. Never have I ever been talked to so rudely or feel unwanted at my doctor visit. Apparently dr seirra Williams is the most unfriendliest, rudest, just a mess of a doctor I've ever met. I started doing research about him and is clearly this way with a lot of people including some of my friends that went to him. Never did I feel so belittled going to a doctor visit to check in my son and his reacquiring fevers. He's also the owner of this place lol such a joke. I took my son for his newborn visit, and three more visits after that due to jaundice. Not once did I see Dr. Seitter or his assistant smile; they aren't too child friendly. In addition, the front office staff always placed me on hold for 15-20 minutes each time that I called to schedule his follow up appointments. The staff during the weekdays seem miserable; I went on a Saturday, and the staff was extremely nicer. I changed pediatricians as soon as his bilirubin levels lowered. We have had our children seen at Pediatric Medical Associates for 4 years now. I travel further now just to have them be seen by the Doctors and Nurse there because they are the BEST DOCTORS, not just because a Magazine says so. THEY ARE GREAT DOCTORS! There aren't many providers that will go above and beyond like theirs do. They truely care for my children as if they are family. YES...sometimes there is a wait that might seem unbareable while, as parents, we are concerned about our children being uncomfortable. Its our responsibility to use common sense and know when to go to the E. R. and not wait for an office visit. A good doctor will inform you of these thing, as Dr. Saba did for our family. I worked in the dental feild so I understand there is nothing you can do about the wait some times. There is only a wait because these Doctors take the time to be thurough with the patient they are seeing at the time. When your child is the child in the office getting the attention they deserve, it makes up for it!!!! From our family in these hard time....TRUELY THANK YOU! read more

This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a pediatric doctor's office. I'm a mother of (5) and (8) grandchildren, I can safely say this office, from the front desk check in too the Doctor that seen my grand-daughter age 2 and my grand-son 9 months old were out of line. Believe me when I tell you they have no care for the child patient and refused to bill my daughters second insurance company and would not see my grandson for an eye infection that caused his eye to fill with blood the night before. He was taken that night to the emergency room where my daughter was told to follow up with his primary the next day, not too wait any longer then that. So as instructed she followed those orders. She set the appt gave them the insurance information (she has a primary and a secondary insurance. She made them double check that they indeed took there insurance abd was told yes to bring him in. We get there and she checks in and next thing i know is my daughter is walking towards me in tears because now she is being told they do not take her primary insuranse but the secondary insurance is good but they wont bill them, that she needed to pay cash or he would not be seen. Knowing how urgent this visit was they were rud and uncaring to the needs of a 9 month old baby. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!! read more

This place doesn't deserve a star but you have to in order to post this..This place is so money hungry it's unreal. Dr. Seitter makes you feel dumb and judged when you bring your child in because they're sick. He also at the end of every visit hands you your bill and asks you how you're going to take care of it. This makes you feel like all he sees your child as is a paycheck. Since when do doctors hand you the bill at your child's visit because they have bronchitis?!? I had a $200+ bill and I asked to make small payments as I am a single full time mom and don't make a lot of money yet they told me no you can only make it in 3 installments and the first is due right now. They called me at my job to request the payment. So I called and spoke to the office manager and she told me that's the owner of the company's decision to call jobs if unable to get a hold of you by the second time they call. I told her this was so beyond unprofessional and to not do this again. So she transferred me to Jae who you could hear roll her eyes over the phone. Also Dr. Seitter's medical assistant is so grumpy and heartless it's makes the experience even more unpleasant. This is all so unreal to me. Don't go to this office unless you want this type of treatment. None of the staff is friendly at all. They are all heartless and rude when this is an exciting time as a new mom. The front office staff seemed pretty normal, but when my child was seen by the doctor, I was very surprised how rude and unprofessional he was. We saw Dr. William Seitter. I changed over to this pediatrician since the office was close by after having several missed diagnoses with another pediatrician. At my son's 9 month appointment they did not do a developmental check, which it turns out my son was a little delayed and this would have been very helpful to know earlier on so we could have gotten him help earlier. I also had some worries about his eating because he was not chewing and was choking on everything, even puréed foods. The doctor just said that he was a big kid and it was because he was still breastfeeding. He told me-just stop breastfeeding him! The doctor also rolled his eyes and made grimaces while I asked a couple other general questions and then said, Are you done now? Since we got the flu shot for my son, we had to come back a month later for the follow up shot. My husband came with me this time and had a question for the doctor that was unrelated to the shot, and the doctor answered it, so I thought maybe the doctor was having a bad day the time before. When we made an appointment to get a referral for an OT a month later, the doctor surprised us again. It turns out my son needed feeding therapy to learn to chew and swallow correctly after his tongue tie was fixed, but the previous pediatrician had sent over the referral, so when my husband and I had mentioned that my son was getting feeding therapy, he let out a sarcastic laugh and said, I can't believe insurance will pay for that because your kid is so huge; there is no way I would have let him get that. We also mentioned that the feeding therapist was requesting a follow up blood test to make sure he was getting all the right nutritional needs and she recommended OT since my son was exhibiting some red flags that he may have some other underlying issue causing anxiety. The doctor continually rolled his eyes and made sounds while we tried to explain what we had been told by other specialists and then said, well I'm not doing anything for you unless you get an official note from the therapist explaining exactly why it is needed - if I send a request over to insurance now they will laugh me out of the room because your kid is so huge. We told him we would make sure to get a letter from the therapist but would appreciate if they could do the blood test since our insurance would cover it and we would pay anything extra. The doctor finally agreed. We also mentioned that we tried sleep training several times and it had not been successful. The doctor just said the only way was Ferber. We mentioned that we had tried leaving him to cry many times but he would go 3 hours escalating more and more before falling asleep and waking up again minutes later. And, we had tried for a month and a half straight one time, 2 weeks another time, etc. The doctor just said that babies know they can just wait 3 hours and 1 minute to get their way so you have to show them you aren't coming back and they are on their own. After the doctor walked out and we waited for the nurse to take my son's blood, we could hear the doctor make fun of my son loudly to all of the staff. My son had a lot of medical issues since birth so he had already learned early on that he hated doctor offices, so when the doctor coldly and harshly handled my son during each appointment, he screamed all the more, and it took him months to get over it. The nurse also rough handled my son when she took blood. After trying several times to get a vain, she stabbed it in and left a humongous bruise for days. When we followed up with the letter from the therapist so we could get a referral, the lady doing the referrals gave us the run around for 2 months and never sent over the referral. They wasted so much of our time and put my son back by months when he could have been receiving treatment he needed. Even if they didn't see a benefit, it wouldn't have hurt them to just send over the referral. He is really delayed now but we are working on getting back on track thanks to the new pediatrician we changed to. read more

I gave this office 4 stars because it doesn't do enough to sequester well kids from sick kids, but we have been satisfied with the office staff and physicians. Our sons (5 and 3) have been seeing Dr. Seitter since they were born. It's true that he is not a warm/fuzzy doc but when we started seeing him, we had just moved from Philadelphia where absolutely nobody in the city is warm/fuzzy, so it didn't bother us. Also, my husband and I cared far more about his level of competence in medicine than anything else. When we asked him questions, he gave us evidence-based answers that indicated he's current on the literature. He seemed to be able to defend his claims based on a sample size that is larger than that of his own practice and I appreciated that point of view. He has been accurate with his diagnoses with our kids, which we have appreciated because misdiagnosis just leads to longer suffering, more time at the doctor's office and more expense. We moved to Scottsdale and have to find another pediatrician now - we are hoping to find one who has the depth of knowledge that Seitter does. read more
