My husband and I were so excited to check out Dana's while visiting Fort Wayne!…read more The service here was incredible. We arrived early to meet family for a drink at the bar before dinner, and they were able to go ahead and seat us at a larger table. The food was great! I enjoyed my wagyu hot dog. The fries were excellent, as was my mocktail. There was a convenient, paid parking lot within walking distance.

That had a great pale ale on tap. Seeing the brioche online I had to try it. It was incredible. Sweet, salty. Something I have never had before. I also ordered the burger which was good, but the brioche stole the show! Nice warm ambiance and great prices! Will be back next work trip for sure! Well done, great spot!!

Yelp wins again leading us to a cool restaurant, with great reviews and a cool name!…read more The service is impeccable from the moment you're greeted at the front door by the host. We were promptly seated inside, and greeted by the friendliest young woman who was so enthusiastic and had a sweet vibrant attitude. We both ordered the tacos and the queso appetizer. Everything was presented like an art on canvas - beautiful, delicious and so flavorful. The General Manager and Floor Manager both said hello and ensured we had a great visit. 100/10, would come back again.

This is an attractive brewery/restaurant with a gnome theme. And I'm a sucker for gnomes…read more Thankfully, you can't order gnome on the menu. The draft beer selections are extensive, with many different styles available. I went with a flight of all high alcohol varieties because I find them to be the most flavorful and definitely not because they give the best buzz for your money. The Belgian was outstanding. Our server was fantastic. She was incredibly friendly and attentive. If you dine here and she's your server, you won the lottery. The menu is very well-written but I don't think the food quite matched my expectations. The BBQ burger was fine. The hot chicken sandwich had a good kick but I thought the sauce was a little weird. The side of tots was good but it's impossible not to like tots. I appreciated the option of fried potatoes. They were fine. You could do a lot worse with the view. The spectacular courthouse towers over the restaurant on the other side of the street. Really good beer, decent food, great service, and a wow view. And gnomes.

We had reservations for 4 on Wednesday night…read more We were seated quickly and our server came by to take our drink orders. I had a B.A. Smoke on the Water. It's very unique with a smoky flavor. We started with a couple appetizers, the Smoked Gouda Crab Dip and Shrimp Cocktail. Both were delicious. For dinner my wife had the Pan Seared Salmon and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Maybe the best I have ever had. Buttery and flaky and the Risotto was excellent. For dessert we had the Carrot Cake and Cheesecake with Berry Sauce. Both were phenomenal. Our server did a great job taking care of us. It was pretty loud so we did have a little trouble hearing each other at our table. There were two large parties close to us.

I meant to take note of our servers name so I wouldn't forget with early flight the next day but eek I forgot. She was great though. The pretzel bread they bring is so good! I tried a bite of my son's lobster bisque. Very good. I ordered the crowned filet (topped with lobster gratinee & 2 diffeeent sauces) oh my so good! The steak itself had such a great flavor. :) Loved the asparagus & mushrooms that came with ir. We were with stuffed but...had to get the Bananas Foster that they flambéed at our booth. Oh my goodness, she did such a wonderful job making it.. it was soooooo good I wanted to lick the bowl but I didn't lol. Thank you for a wonderful dinner / last evening visiting my son for awhile, highly recommend this restaurant

One of my few complaints about Union Social is the volume of noise. We have dinned with friends…read moreand older family members. Eating in the front area...especially in the open area is really unpleasant. It's loud. The TV's are loud. You can't talk and enjoy the conversation. On this trip...we dinned in the "back" room. What a difference! The noise level was minimal. We asked the waitress to turn down the volume and she did. This allowed us to enjoy our conversation and dinner. Great job done by our waitress Zhoee. She was patient, professional, friendly and very helpful to the older members of our party. She was responsive to the loud speakers we were asked to turn them down. Zhoee kept the refills coming while serving us well!! We started started with the Cuban quesadillas. This is really a MUST try. The meat is very flavorful. The pickled onions and sauce inside the quesadilla are delicious!! I particularly like the house salads. They are very fresh and attractive. Plenty of side veggies and crunchy/boldly garlic flavored croutons. I tried the Thai ginger dressing this time. I loved the mild flavors. You could pick up the hints of peanut sauce and ginger coming through. It is moderate in consistency and delicious! I've never had their Mac & cheese so we gave it a try. A nice thick and creamy white cheese sauce. The cavatappi style noodles were perfectly cooked! The cheese stuck to the noodles beautifully. The cheese sauce was so tasty that you almost wanted to like the bowl. On this trip I went with the wings and dry rub seasoning. Nothing else on the menu appealed to me that visit. I got six small to medium sized wings in this order. The insides were fully white without being tough or dry. The skin was a bit crunchy so I'm sure they were fried. The dry rub has a mild traditional BBQ flavor. The wings were really coated in dry rub. I don't think there was a speck of skin showing through. At times I felt like I was eating more dry rub than chicken. The rub comes off very salty - which I liked. It didn't have an after taste burn - which I also liked. The BBQ was pleasant and flavorful to taste. The volume of rub was just a bit overwhelming - at least to me.

Once seated, a kind server brought me water without asking. She later remembered the slice of lemon I requested for it, too. When my biscuits n' gravy with scrambled eggs were brought, I was in awe. They were the fluffiest biscuits I had seen in a long time... and coming from a southern-born girl, that's a huge compliment! The biscuits were also really good and soft and a nice temperature. The sausage gravy tasted good and was the perfect temperature. I wish it had more sausage crumbles in it, but I was still impressed. I found myself saying "mmm" a few times after my first bite of gravy and biscuit. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was North Carolina-worthy gravy or biscuits, but they were pretty good! The eggs were more fried than scrambled, but they tasted good enough. They actually reminded me of homemade eggs, so that was nice. Overall, I only arrived back at work one minute late, which I don't blame on Willie's. They served me quickly and made sure I was full of good food before I headed back into the real world. Stop by Willie's from 7-2 every day (8-2 on Sundays) for a tasty lunch or breakfast!

Ambiance is fun and everyone is always happy. Joanna's Scramble Skillet - Steak, chorizo, onions, peppers, eggs, cheese, jalapenos. - Everything was good and perfectly cooked. We both did a side of pancakes (it comes with your skillets, but we would have ordered some regardless). Very good, very tasty, not dry like sometimes it can be. 5/5 stars. Go here and get the skillets. I've tried the omelettes and blueberry pancakes before, and they were fine, but the skillets are by far superior in every way. Highly recommend this place!

Coyote Creek Bar & Grill (Hillegas Road) - pizza and a patio with a view!…read more We love to dine at the Coyote Creek's patio on a summer's evening. It's a covered patio and over looks the 18th hole (see picture). The cover blocks the sun and allows a cool relaxing breeze to flow in. Very nice! This was actually the first time I have ever tried their pizza. I've been here with others who have ordered pizza and liked it. I was always reluctant to try it because they appear to over cook the crust often. Definitely not this time though! I have included the regular pizza menu. They only have about five specialty pizzas to pick from. Their 16 inch selections will generally run you about $20. On this occasion...the special of the month was a cheeseburger pizza. It sounded good so I gave it a try! The cheeseburger pizza crust was very light and soft with a slightly baked crisp. It has a bit of a floury taste. The inside tended to mimic a biscuit flavor and texture. I liked it. No buttery coating or seasoning. Just some stray cheese pieces. I can't describe their normal tomato based pizza sauce. This pizza came with "special sauce" to accent a cheeseburger flavor. The sauce was light, thin and didn't dominate the taste. I found out they use their homemade 1000 Island dressing for the sauce. It did mimic a McDonald's Big Mac special sauce - just not as zingy. I was concerned that the sauce would grow old fast as I worked on 16 inches of pizza. It did not as it wasn't very strong tasting. There wasn't a lot of ground beef to dominate the taste. There was plenty of mozzarella cheese and some cheddar cheese accents. This gave it a nice gooey pull apart string. The dill pickles were very thin and mild in dill taste. Cold Pizza Test - the crust got only a little tougher while the biscuit flavor stepped forward. It was still moist to taste and easy to pick up and eat/chew. The special sauce and onions also started to come out more as it seemed to marinate a bit more. The rest of the toppings and cheese kind of fell flat in taste when cold. I liked the cold cheeseburger pizza option too! Overall...I loved the view and was glad I tried the cheeseburger pizza.
