Arbel Construction - Patio - General Contractors Near Me - Encino, California

The best Pergola company in the business!! We got three estimates and decided to go with Arbel Construction to do our pergola in our yard. They had not only the best price but also were so kind and patient as I changed the design I had in mind multiple times. They gave me plenty of options to work with our budget. Absolutely amazing work! Not only did they do exactly what I pictured but the quality was beyond our expectations! They cleaned up after themselves which is something that is extremely important to me during construction. Their communication with me was perfect and the was done in time and efficiently. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends! read more

I was super indecisive throughout the pandemic of what exactly I wanted. Barak never seemed bothered by my requests and adjusted my estimates several times based on my new ideas. Mapping out my request was seamless and so was the installation. The guys came early in the morning and I had a gorgeous pergola within a few hours! The job also included electrical wiring so that I could have string lighting connected to a power switch. The finished product is amazing and elevated the aesthetic of our backyard just in time for Mother's Day! Thanks Barak! read more

We have been looking for more than a couple of years to get our back patio done. We knew what we wanted and we had looked in yelp as well as referrals from friends for contractors that could do the job for a reasonable price. We had probably more than a dozen contractors come by to give us an estimate of the job we wanted done. We had some crazy crazy estimates. Thank God we found Arbel construction on yelp. Barak is the best. He is quick to respond. Very easy to talk to and promised to t work for a more than reasonable price. We had some electrical issues and I was for sure convinced that we had to abandon our project once again but Barak made sure we had good options the issues we faced and helped us and walked us thru the whole process. The guys that came to install and complete the project were very skilled and knowledgeable about what was needed to be done. They left the site clean and was always ready for any questions and inquiries we had. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE, arbel construction is the answer to your construction needs. I'm more than happy with the work they do and would recommend them all day and everyday to anyone who would care to ask. read more

I contacted this company based on reviews here, and I have to disagree with others experiences. The guy was supposed to come on a Saturday morning to bid the job, and never showed up. When I called a few days later he said he had left me a message on Friday letting me know he wasn't going to make it. I had no message from him, yet strangely all my other voicemails seemed to come through just fine. He also said he assumed I wasn't interested anymore since I never called him back. Huh? read more

The Most unpleasant project manager (Ron)for this construction company, he had such a terrible attitude. When I told him I wasn't going to go with his offer he responded with sarcasm. Stay away from this company. read more

We really enjoyed working with Barack at Arbel Construction. He came out to give us a quote, and it was the best price around. He had great ideas to share that we hadn't thought of previously and it really brought the project together. We were also given references of previous customers, and we were able to view his work. Barack is very personable and easy to work with. Once everything was scheduled, our patio cover was up within a day. It has made such a big difference in our backyard, and we can't wait to spend our summer under it. read more

Arbel Construction - Before & After. - General Contractors Near Me - Encino, California

These people are unreliable, untrustworthy don't use them at all!! They are the contractor's nightmare you don't want to deal with!!! We had them do our backyard and replace our sliding glass doors, this project was going to take a few weeks, a month at the most and it took them almost 2 months! We wanted the customize sliding glass doors and they had to special order them, the 1st door finally came in after a cpl of wks and they broke it.. now we had to wait a cpl more wks for the new door.. 2nd time it came they broke the door again!!! They promised us things they didn't even give.. I understand accidents happen, but their service is unacceptable!! This is the kind of stress they put you thru and you don't want to deal w/that!! We paid them top dollars for the peace of mind we didn't get!! Beware of these guys because they might of changed their names bcz of the poor service they give!! read more

I was referred to Arbel construction by one of my friends who hired them for his house project and I'm glad I was. Barak the owner, came and gave a good idea about how to do our patio cover with columns and a fair price for it too. His crew was very professional and finished the project in no time. We are very pleased with the result and that we finally have some shade on our Patio. Thank You read more

Thank you Arbel Construction for the beautiful patio. Clean workers and beautiful finish!!

We got a patio cover with a fan installed. Barak was super helpful from start to finish. Cost $2500 which was on par with the other 5 places I got estimates from. Installation was supposed to be a one day job. It took 4 hours but over a couple of days. No big deal, we had it done right around the holidays and everyone was super busy. Very happy, would hire again! read more

All i can say is WOW!! Great service, fast, on time, great workmanship....They completely remodeled our bathroom in less than one week to our complete satisfaction!! read more

Terrible service. A guy name Sam came over was Unprofessional and condescending . He was shady and was fishing for our knowledge to see how much he can rip us off. Don't even bother calling them because it's a waste of your time. read more

Complete scam artist. Took them weeks to complete a job that should have taken a few days. Quality of work was sub par and no one has returned to take care of warranty issues. Had to constantly ride them to get anything done. Crew showed up intermittently at best at their convenience and would leave after only a couple hours of work. Had to micro manage the entire job. Don't be fooled by their smiles and sales pitch. They hide behind their toll free number and shiny brochures. One of the worst decisions I have ever made. Would give them zero stars. Hopefully these guys get what's coming and someone picks them off with a solid lawsuit. They'll purport to know things they do NOT. From carpentry, paint, stucco, foundation, landscaping to basic finishing work, I would have been off doing it all myself. Like I said, hopefully karma kicks in and these guys get a good dose of what's headed their way. Very sad that companies like this can continue to exists. I could go on and on, but in the end I would not recommend at all. read more

Barak is the best , really easy to work with and he really knows what's going to work best for your house, Barak installed my patio cover more then 2 years ago and last week after the rain I had an issue, I called Barak and he sent his crew the next day to diagnose and fix my issue, even though it had nothing to do with the job Barak did for me ( again 2 years ago)the crew fix my issue and Barak didn't even charge me , I highly recommend Barak for all your patio needs thank you Barak read more

Thank You. Its been a real challenge finding a company I can feel confortable with to remodel my house as I work a hectic 60 hour week. I couldnt be happier. I needed a company to step up and run my remodeling job from A to Z. We ran into a few hick ups that could of cost me an arm and a leg in change orders, but suprisingly I ended up paying the cost of the difference. Thank you Arbel and company. read more

We had our new patio cover installed by Arbel, I did my research and had many of patio guys come for estimate. Barak was very professional and easy to work with. He gave us a very good and reasonable price for our patio cover, the crew was superb and the quality of installation was super professional . They make sure after the work is done that the place is clean. If you are in the market for a patio cover, I highly recommend Arbel save you time on research and price quotes. read more

Did a great job on our patio. Tom and Barak were always available if we had a question. Very friendly. Finished the project on time. Everything was always cleaned up. No problems at all. Would highly recommend this company for your construction needs. read more

Update: We just had our outdoor patio enclosed to make an extra play room for the kids. It was finished in two days!!!! I couldnt believe how quickly these guys can wrap up their projects. And super clean and organized too. Im really impressed with this company. I dont know why other reviews talk about "salesmen"....this is a family owned business and the owner himself comes out to your home. He oversees the project from start to finish which is a nice change from these larger companies where you are just another number. He was always accessible by phone when we needed him and he was super nice and professional the whole time. I would highly reccomend this company. They know what theyre doing and theyre good at it too! read more

Good experience. We had our kitchen done by Arbel construction and we were very satisfied. The design really became alive with the quality and workmanship. We were very happy with the end result and during the process we found them to be very attentive to any question or problem we came across. Phone calls were always returned and most importantly if there were issues (which were few) they were resolved immediately. read more

Barak, the owner, is a very nice guy, I love the patio covers he built, it is very beautiful, and make my house looks just fabulous. I hope I can share some pictures, but I dont have it on my computer. When's the last time a contractor delivered an incredible product on time at a fair price, and promptly returned every email, text, or phone call?Barack and his team at Arbel Construction just finished our new driveway, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product and the price, which came in lower than four other bids from highly reviewed competitors. Having contractors and architects in our family, we're a bit picky, but every detail was completed to our satisfaction. I'd hire Arbel in a heartbeat for any future job. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would have. I actually did have them do the work, which was sub contracted, done horribly, and the retaining wall began falling apart. I dealt with Sam and with Leo. Both lied several times about following up and coming to fix the work. These guys are horrible. Beware! read more

Project manager was rude and never showed up after the first day of work. Workers didn't come when they were supposed to, and calls to office were unanswered. We tried emailing the manager and still got no response. Workmanship was poor (large gaps between stones used for BBQ island), so we had to have it redone. There was no communication between the manager we spoke to and the workers who came to do the work. read more

I had 4 different patio companies come out to give me an estimate. Barack from Arbel was the only one that I felt comfortable with. He asked what I was looking for in a new patio cover and worked my ideas to come up with a great design. The price was extremely competitive and fair and he wasnt pushy at all. The work was done in about a day and a half and looks great. I had one request for a minor change on the gutter downspout and he fixed it very quickly. Overall , very happy. Highly recommend! read more

I had Arbel Construction renovate my whole backyard - we redid the pavement, pool, and installed a patio cover over half of the yard. If you like to waste your time, call these guys. I needed some pool work done and had them come to my home. Well after testing me on my knowledge of pools he quickly makes some recommendations, shows me pictures on his IPad for 2 seconds and says $10,000. complete.( Other written estimates were $2000. to $3000.) I still asked to have an estimate emailed( see what I could get for so much?) and was told oh we do not do that. ???? Nothing in writting. Only after I give a deposit and sign I get the contract. That is the way we do the job, I was told. Are they kidding. After the two of us going back and forth with me " I want it in writing" and him "no not possible" and finally as a result of my "begging for an estimate" a big favor would be done for me and he will ask the boss. He makes a call on his phone (did he even call anyone?) while walking to the other side of my yard out of hearing range and ten minutes later says no written anything. I say I can not do business like this and he is gone before I can ask him to leave. DO NOT bother with such a business. read more
