This place is a scam. I filled out info on their "ADU calculator" on Facebook which promised an adu estimate within 30 seconds with no visits so that other contractors won't rip you off. The "adu calculator " then says I need a phone Turns out this is just another contractor using slimy tricks. I got a call from this company. I told them about the the adu calculator issue. They said it was a problem with the website. I asked what the costs are for a basic ADU. She said "around $100K". Then she said it would be around $250K. I said what do you get for $100K. She said "nothing ". I asked why she threw out that number. She gave me a bunch of excuses like that she hadn't worked there long or she was unauthorized to give numbers. Either way this is just another contractor rather than a legit ADU calculator and they likely have no interest in actually giving objective real world estimates Stay away from them! read more

I'm writing on behalf of my parents who had work done in 10/2024 with Dor Nagar who promised us that we have a warranty for one year. After a few months, the artificial turf that they put in has popped up out of the ground. When we call, they continue to promise that they will fix it but we haven't had anyone come in. In fact, they went so far as to schedule an appointment with us, but then didn't show and didn't reschedule. We've tried calling them again for a few weeks but no response from the company. They were also supposed to remove a tree per our contract but didn't do that. I really hate leaving poor reviews but my parents are really upset with the service they have received from this company and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. We'll be filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs and will be taking legal action for their breech of contract. read more

He also ended up matching the other quote I had received, so I just felt much more comfortable after the initial sticker shock. I really had no clue about the cost of a job like this. When I called back and complained, the person I got was very empathetic and apologized and said he would pass my complain to the business owner who contacted me to apologize and offered to get someone out to do an estimate right away. I appreciate the way he responded so fast and the key was he was willing to accommodate my hours and come on the weekend since they had inconvenienced me. I think if a business owner is willing to make up for an employee's mistake, that says a lot. We were referred to beyond from a friend who hired them to redo their front yard. We had also talked to many contractors about redoing our backyard during the drought but the prices made us not choose them. After seeing the quality of work beyond did we decided to have them come out for an estimate. Yair came out and took some measurements and gave us a free quote. Headache, that's what I got dealing with this project plus the project manager's bad customer service. The owner was nice, but the 2-week $30,000 project for our pavers and artificial grass was a stressful one for me. The project manager assigned to me only visited a few times in a span of 2 weeks and denied a few of his promises even if some were in the contract already. They had to redo a few areas 2-3x because of uneven pavers and door not opening due to pavers installed being higher than original concrete that was demolished. The project manager asked for additional payment during the process, which I did not pay. He even told me to pick up the mulch at Home Depot myself because he said it was not in the contract. He even told me I had bad manners. I will look for another company for our driveway project next time. read more
