I like Dr Araneta if he is ever in the office. The staff is rude in person and on the phone. I need to find another doctor. Dr Tomas and his assistant Karen Dress are very nice. My biggest issue and most important is when you call the office you get a recorder saying they will call you back but nobody ever answers the phone or calls you back!! . I have been calling for over a week ( leaving detailed messages, and calling back over and over and over nobody ever answers the phone ) Very very disappointed in the way they run this office. read more

1st of all, we pay a lot of money for our insurance through my husband's employer, every single time I called to make appt an (after going to hospital or urgent care for Gout or Female issues) they have no appts for over a month! Not to mention, we never get to have an appointment with the actual doctor. It's always the PA or the nurses.. I can switch doctors in Aetna, But would have to start all over again from scratch, so I have to stick with the PA and nurse l. I've literally had same medical problem for over 2 years with no help from them! This sucks! Now I'm stuck same drs same issues more time off work! read more

I never leave reviews but this issue calls for one. If I can leave negative starts I would. My parents, grandparents and myself have been patients for over 20 years with Dr. Araneta. He is the sweetest Dr, very attentive with his patients. Recently, his office has been taken over by new administration and must I say what a horrible administration. Extremely rude to the point of yelling and threatening of hanging up the phone call. I was mid phone call and was hung up on, called again and immediately was hung up again and again. There is no way I can speak to Dr Araneta, no call is ever returned so I am left at a standstill with my dad's medical issues. The person who answers all of the calls is the most rude, offensive, indicate, mean, and maybe I also my say racist against mom speaking patients acting as if she "can't understand" what my parents as asking to the best of their ability. This person will eventually lead to the office to having no patients. I wish that her parents nor herself ever get treated the way she has treated myself and my parents time and time again. My family and I will be looking for a new Dr due to the terrible front office management. Stay away from this office. read more

Beyond disappointed with the front desk staff. After a two hour drive we were 10 minutes late to an appointment... the front office staff decided 10 minutes was an inconvenience, spent 15 minutes arguing with me and this resulted in my 90 year old grandmother not getting a refill of her heart medication. I don't know if this man doesn't want to be a doctor anymore, if he's instructed his staff to throw away LIFELONG patients, but my 90 year old grandmother will NEVER BE BACK. Which is a shame, my Gram has been a patient of Dr. Aranetta's since he was a resident. Abysmal, embarrassing front desk service. Dr. Jenkins staff across the hall rushed in and saved the day, they happily took on a new patient and refilled her vital heart medication. Imagine being a 90 year old woman, going to the doctor for the first time after a 2 year pandemic and being treated like TRASH by front office staff. read more

I haven't see Dr. Araneta but I am a patient of Jamie. She is so nice. The best NP I've ever met. The first time I saw her, I wasn't sure how she would be as I previously saw an NP through the VA and lets just say she wasn't the best but Jamie definitely is. She took the time to listen to me and actually heard me. She remembered everything even after a couple of months of not seeing me. I recently moved to San Diego but I refuse to change my PCP because I don't think I'll ever find another that would care about me like Jamie does. I hate driving long distances but I would drive an hour and a half just to see her. She is passionate about what she does and actually cares about her patients' wellbeing. I would highly recommend her to anyone! The staff is amazing, specially Monica. She's never failed to call me back whenever I leave a message and she is very helpful. She is so pleasant to speak with and I always look forward to seeing her in the office and talking to her over the phone. I don't know her that well but I consider her as a good friend. I love everyone in this office and I will be their forever patient no matter where I move to. I absolutely love them. read more

Dr Araneta has been our family doctor for 13 + years. The medical care we received was always excellent. Doctor and his staff were caring and on top of things. Then a few years back I was told he sold the practice and is only there and seeing patients a few days per month. That is when the care became minimal at best. An automated phone system was implemented and call backs from the medical assistants etc take at least one week, test results are given to you very unprofessionally should you even get a call back. Should you need a prescription refill, you will need allow up to two weeks for the pharmacy to get the authorization and that is after having to continually follow up with the office staff. On about the second week of January 2021 I called the automated system leaving several messages for the medical assistant, asking for a referral for a mammogram as I found a lump on my breast. Again it took 1 week for someone to call me back, during this conversation I stated I would like to have the order mailed as I no longer live in the area, I have stated this fact several times at my in person visits. After a couple days of checking my mailbox I again called the automated system, and when my call was finally returned I was told my mammogram order was sitting up at the front desk ready for me to pick up. We are now at the end of January 2021. After the mammography and ultrasound were completed 2/5/21 and results were sent to the office, Doctor wanted me to schedule a ultrasound guided needle biopsy, as I was trying to figure out where to have this procedure done I called the office for some help, Myra took the time to call the imaging center and sent the order from Doctor quickly to the imaging center. During another phone call I spoke to a gal name Bridgette regarding the soonest date the imaging facility could get me in which was 3/9/21 . Long story short, she was one of the most uncaring, insensitive and rude people I have encountered. The biopsy results were received by their office 24 hours after the procedure but I was not notified until 2 days after they received them. When I received the call from his NP Jamie Rodgers, with what I thought would be the results. She was unable to interpret the Pathology report. She stated there wasn't a diagnosis or a Nottingham score . She said she would email a copy of the report that same day, which was a Friday , by the following Monday I still had not received it, so I put in a call their office to follow up yet again, when I received an email copy of the report I was absolutely flabbergasted and stunned at what I saw and that Jamie couldn't read the report and couldn't figure out what the diagnosis was per the Pathologist. I do not have a medical degree or medical background, but plain as day in BIG BOLD BLACK letters at the top of the first page was the diagnosis from the pathologist along with the Nottingham score she couldn't seem to figure out as she said it wasn't included on the report. This has been the most traumatic and absolute worst experience with a health care provider. A patients health and well being is at stake here but it does not seem to matter and has not been taken seriously. Unfortunately this is not the first time scheduling a medical procedure they wanted done has been difficult, but this time, time is of the essence. read more

I saw Jamie Rogers after a car accident to get an MRI to diagnose my injury. Once the results were in showing I had two bulging discs she told me to pretty much do nothing for it and offered no help besides some stretches and icy hot despite the numbness in my arms and pain that still has me in tears. After my appointment to discuss the results she refused to write me a referral to a spine specialist which is wrong because she is a nurse practitioner who knows nothing about spine injury. Now I have to wait in severe pain all because she thinks she knows what's best for my injured spine. Do NOT go here. They will prolong your suffering and do NOTHING for you. She told me she saw me more than most patients. Could it be because I am severely injured from a car accident and have proof that I'm injured???? Save your time! read more

Waited forever. Receptionist thought other receptionist had given me new patient forms to fill out... Doctor had nurse do the exam and talk to me. When I mentioned what I 'thought' it could be, he took the ball and ran with it. Even though it didn't make any sense?.. He sent me for an ultrasound somewhere else and they never returned my call. Called this office back about 5 more times, 2 different days, and kept getting a recording (where you can't leave a message.) And no, it wasn't during lunch lol... Basically, Web MD helped me tell the doc how to treat me. Should've saved my time and money ;) read more

Then he lied, misdiagnosed and as far as we are concerned - killed her by not giving her the proper medical treatment - even though we asked the right questions - be careful of this evil man. read more

I became ill while visiting Southern California. I called to inquire about an opening and they agreed to see me the same day after 5pm. After a 15 minute wait, I was called back and walked out with my badly needed prescription within 30 minutes. The staff was busy, but they were friendly. I would recommend him. read more

Dr Araneta is quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever encountered. My mother has been seeing him for two years now, but after this latest debacle with her scheduling, no more! His office staff is completely incompentent; it is an embarassment to healthcare providers. No one in that office does anything unless they are asked or flat out told. I scheduled a follow up appointment for my mother after a visit to the Urgent Care and was given an appointment time of 4:20pm and wasn't seen until well after 5pm. To top it all off, while she was waiting no one in his office bothered to call the Urgent Care to get my mothers xray results, knowing well and good that that's why she was there! It is unbelieveable. It's not like this is a free clinic! My mother has health coverage, but for what!? Truly, a disappointment! read more
