She's not capable of thinking outside of the box nor is she open to any sort of educated dialog about health. And if you are postmenopausal, don't even bother. She will dismiss you and every symptom that you have because she's not educated in menopause. I recently went back through all my old lab work and discovered I had hematuria for years and never once was it addressed. Shame on me for not paying closer attention to my results and thinking I could trust my doctor. Their office staff would make appointments without my consent and threatened to end care with me as a patient for rescheduling. Saenz, during a physical exam, felt the edge of my liver and immediately jumped to the conclusion that I had liver disease, put me through many awful tests and months of anxiety. I'm a healthy 24 year old. My current doctors are far better in every way and pretty much debunked everything these so called "doctors" attempted to misdiagnose me with so they could get money out of my insurance company. I initially saw Tatiana and she could not have been more pleasant or patient as she listened intently to my long list of ailments. At the end of the appointment it was most impressive to see she had not missed or neglected to note even one of the many issues I'd spoken about, the ten plus referrals I needed, and a list of the medial items I need to maintain my relative health. I was listened to, all of my concerns were addressed and all referrals submitted before a day had passed. Truly above and beyond care for this extremely complicated and difficult cancer patient. I think the whole office had the best energy. I also found the waiting room spacious and relaxing with the abundant windows and light. I recently lost my medical insurance but still needed my routine medications, so I paid $200 cash for a simple medication refill appointment. Amber was unprofessional, dismissive, and failed to provide my usual two refills -- something I've consistently received for years. She didn't even notify me that she was changing this, leaving me without the refills I depend on and forcing me to pay another $200 if I need a new prescription. I didn't find out I had no more refills till I went to call in a refill. It was a mess! This isn't the first negative experience I've had with Amber, but this one was unacceptable. It feels like this office has completely shifted its focus away from patient care and toward pushing their cash-only med spa services. When I brought up legitimate perimenopause concerns, I was told that Dr. Briggs doesn't allow NPs to prescribe medication for hormonal issues and that I'd have to go through their med spa instead -- which is both inappropriate and unethical. I've been loyal to this office for nearly a decade, but I'm done. I feel taken advantage of, dismissed, and left scrambling for basic medical care.
