Just wanted to mention how disappointed we were in our service with Viatas this trip…read more The driver provided no help whatsoever at the front door retrieving our luggage, instead he stood waiting at the car. He was obviously a smoker, and he smokes in his car. When I got in the car after freshly showering, the smoke was gagging and I was sure I smelled like smoke throughout my days' travels because of it. We used to get a bottle of water each in the backseat when we traveled via limo, sometimes candies. There was nothing like that provided. 15% gratuity was automatically applied to the bill; this driver did not warrant a 15% tip.

I used First Class at the beginning of this year and could not believe how awful my experience was…read more First of all, I scheduled my ride very much ahead of time. I even called the day of to confirm! Seeing as though the cab was just for me, someone decided it wasn't important to tell me that the cab was going to be almost TWO HOURS late. Keep in mind that I was scheduled to be dropped off at O'hare. My trip was to London and if I had been a couple minutes later, I would have missed it. In the midst of figuring out what the heck was going on/why I was still wasn't being picked up, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I was eventually told to get a cab....when it was already a Friday night....then I was called back and told never mind and that someone would be there soon. When I was finally picked up, the driver had to drive like we were being chased by the cops. This was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. Granted, the owner did offer me 'a free ride'...but if I ever claim that, will I have to make sure to tell them 3 o' clock, so they at least show up at 5? Do not advise if you're traveling alone..or are younger. Your business isn't too important to them.

Dude in the van who claims to be the owner tried running us off the road, not once but 3 times!…read moreThen smiled at us when he passed us up. Called the cops and gave them the plate number. He then started recording me while still driving. Not sure what he was recording since I was the passenger. I called the company to complain and he answered saying I own the company bitch you can't do shit to me! Total dick wouldn't want to be driving with someone with such road rage and disrespect for people.

My first reason for choosing them was their affordable fare. I arranged for them to pick me up at exactly ten o'clock, and they were there at exactly ten o'clock. They called me about a half hour before they arrived to tell me they were on their way. They arrived in a discreet car, a Cadillac to be exact. Our driver, Kim, was very polite, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again if I need a ride.

Horrible Experience!!…read more Short Version: Did not get the limo we reserved, a different limo company was sent, charged an extra hour we didn't use, my credit card info was given to the other limo company without my consent, and when I spoke with Mike about my issues, he hung up on me Long Version: We hired Major Symphony for a funeral service. Specifically asked for a 14 passenger black limo, as it was for a funeral. Mike stated that there was a 1% chance we would get a white one I Now personally doubt he even has a black one because a white limo shoeed up from a different company. We got back 10 minutes past the 3 hour reserved time. Mike had told me that he would pro-rate any extra time. My credit card was charged 393 by Major Symphony and 131 by MM limousine for the extra hour. I never hired, provided, or authorized any other company to charge my Credit card. After trying to resolve this issue with Mike, he gave me the run around. I confronted him with proof that we were not in the limo for the extra hour and he hung up on me. When he called back he said the contract states he charges hourly, which trumps what he told me. He then told me if I wrote a bad review, he would sue me for slander. If you do hire Major Symphony, make sure you get everything in writing and read the fine print. If you get the 1% speech, know that your probably getting that 1%. Also that Major Symphony might not be picking you up and that your credit card info will be passed on to another company. When you call to dispute something, you will be met with ignorance. Too many other limousine companies, to deal with this one.

A co-worker of mine had been raving about how good these guys are so we decided to give them a try on our way back from a trip to Europe. I was not sure if they would have a minimum for one-way service so decided to call them first instead of booking online. The operator was very helpful and willing to offer one-way service with no minimum hours. This was a good first sign because our main goal was to not just use them for this trip but also for our upcoming wedding day. Our Chauffeur (Al) was on time, the limo was well kept and the rates reasonable. We mentioned to our Chauffeur at the end of our ride that we have a wedding coming up and were thinking of making a reservation. He told us that if we are happy with his service, than he can inform his dispatcher and someone will call us to help with our reservation. Fast forward to October, a week before our wedding. We received a courtesy call and a reminder regarding our reservation. We had made an 8 hour reservation which including multiple trips from my home to the make artist than to 2 photo shoots and than back to our house. Through out the entire day, our Chauffeur was very friendly. Our 8 hours reservation ended up being an 11 hours trip but at no point did he display any signs of being unhappy. On our way back from the Banquet, to our hotel room, we were hesitant to ask him to make another stop at my house at almost 1 o clock at night and he over heard our conversation and himself offered to make the stop. We could not have hoped for better service and since have recommend A1 Luxury to a handful of people.
