Called Gohlke Pools Thursday afternoon and they came out Friday morning. Where another pool company had estimated a full day to replace, Gohlke was here less than two hours and replaced it. Our pool began to turn green, so we were told the filters needed to be cleaned. The company came and cleaned the filters, and charged us. One week later and the algae returned. Now we were told that we needed new filters. That should have been mentioned the week before during the cleaning, but that's fine. We bought new filters and installed them ourselves. The pool was still green for weeks until one day it wasn't. We didn't have issues for a while. Then, one day my wife noticed that the debris was in the same place in the pool the day that the company was supposed to come out. The next day, the pool turned green. We checked our backyard cameras and they never were there cleaning our pool, yet we were still charged for services. When we addressed this with the pool company, we were met with a hostile and argumentative response. Even though we showed them that our cameras never captured their employees on the date and time that they claimed to be there, the company refused to put the customer first. They said that the green in our pool was a result of our filtration system and not from our pool not being treated despite video evidence. Needless to say we would not recommend this company to anyone. We had issues from the start, but kept up good faith until we were shown that they would charge and argue for services not rendered.
