Aqua Nail Spa - Mani/Pedi - Nail Salons Near Me - Port Orange, Florida

I've been coming here off and on for quite some time but today has been the worst service I've received!! Just trying to get the newer people to understand what you want very difficult! Im very sad that Tom and Mary made no attempt to make amends!! read more

I went here for a pedicure a month ago and had a guy named Ben who was awesome and gave the best service! This visit Pete did my pedicure and gel manicure for my Daughters wedding. The pedicure was very disappointing he rushed through everything and only did half a service the gel manicure was done in less than ten minutes no hand lotion I had to ask for it and the gel manicure only lasted three days and peeled off! I shall not return to this salon. read more

Love this spot! Perfect flawless nails every time! The staff is so friendly. Professional service from everyone!

I called for a pink-and-white fill-in, and was "worked in" for an appointment the same afternoon. When I got there, I was the only client, though there were about ten pedicure chairs and six manicure tables. Of three technicians, an older man--the owner, I learned, who has twenty years of experience--did my nails. While there, another lady came in as a walk-in for a manicure, and she was shown to a manicure table where a non-English-speaking tech did her nails. The man who did mine had to translate every sentence between the two of them, so conversation was at an absolute minimum, and it took the poor lady quite a while to get across that she simply wanted a manicure, not a mani-pedi-combo. On to the pink-and-whites: Not grand. I needed two tips replaced, and nail glue seeped under the tips and bonded my skin to my natural nail for half a day. During the "grind down" process, the tech grinded into the cuticle of my thumb, which today is red and tender. There are definite white lines between my old pink and the fill-in. Two of my nails have "bubbles" that stick up, and one has an irregular dent in it. Call me spoiled, but I think it may be worth the drive back to Aruba Nails in Lake Mary to have my nails done correctly. There's a reason this place was empty when I arrived. Save your money and go elsewhere. And if you know of a really good nail salon in Port Orange, please YELP about it! I need to know! :-) read more

I couldn't be happier! They copied my Pinterest inspired design flawlessly and seemed to be up on new trends (which is pretty rare, I've found). The pricing was super reasonable for what i got (hand stamped gel nails with gem accents). I love it! They also brought around water bottles for the customers and had a cute little girl running around, which always makes for a good atmosphere with what were mostly older ladies (but who doesnt like hearing toddlers laugh)! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the port orange area!! read more

Aqua Nail Spa - Gorgeous work! - Nail Salons Near Me - Port Orange, Florida

Wanted to try out somewhere new. I've never walked out of a salon before. I was made extremely uncomfortable how this place was run. The business had a personal mask requirement, and given how dumbfounded the governor is I know it's no longer a requirement. But placing what looking to be someone who hasn't bathed in a week right next to me with no mask on when there were most of the chairs available was not okay. I'm immune compromised and refused to take that risk. The water I was left soaking in for 30 minutes made my nails cloudy and burn, the chairs were rickety. This isn't a high end place. read more

this is the only place I trust to have a pedicure you get 5 star service for a very reasonable price, the owner and her daughter are excellent they are the only ones I let touch my Feet b/c I have diabetes they take very good care of me and my wife . We have tried a place in Edgewater which I will never ever go back to where as Aqua Equipment is sanitized and wrapped separately, no chance of getting an infection at this place love you guys read more

I am giving this place 2 stars bc of their prices it was clean and because they had shellac gel polish. I came in and wanted my acrylic nails removed and shellac polish. They had me soak my nails, and then they tried to grind them off w the nail drumel. They didn't take the acrylic completely off and so when I kept pointing it out that there was still acrylic on some of my nails the guy sort of got frustrated. But long story short the shellac polish was all over my cuticles and sides of my fingers, I had to fix them when I got home. My nails weren't filled nicely so they snagged on my pants and shirt. Although i paid $27 for shellac and "removal" of my acrylics, I wont be coming back here again. read more

The young man who did nails is the first person in 2 years that got it right. I have tiny nail beds. Most make my nails too thick- even when only polishing. He used the long lasting nail polish (3weeks!) and it was perfect! read more

This is the only nail place I go to in Port Orange! The staff is friendly and super sweet! They are always willing to fix anything you don't like, one time I got white acrylic nails and there was 2 fingers that didn't get enough polish and they added another coat to all my nails. I would highly recommend going to this nail place! You won't regret it! read more

I was in town visiting my parents and was desperate for a pedicure. I read a bunch of reviews for nail salons in the Paviloin and surrounding area but they were not very good. I read some of the reviews for Aqua and I decided to try them. I would definitely go back. Very clean place, great massage chairs, very nice people and if you were a regular they greeted you by name. It was very similar to the salon I have been going to in Richmond, Va that I have been going to for over 6 years. read more

I am only giving this place one star they did good on my nails today don't get me wrong but they charged me $57 for what I got done! I got a mani peti done which according to there board was $32 okay that's fine that's normal price I would pay, I then got gel for my finger nails because I wanted them to last longer then my toes, gel is normally $4 or $5 bucks same for designs of which I got zebra stripes. How in the world can it be $57 for that! My friend got her Avril if gel nails done and only payed $40 which is what I should have payed for what I got done! read more

Need to learn something about customer service - rude! Other nail salons will say "We can do your nails in 15 minutes, have a seat while you wait!" or "Yes, we can do your nails, go down to station 3" or something. When I entered Aqua Nails and asked if someone could do my pink and white the lady at the desk said "Yes" and then nothing. I stood awkwardly waiting for her to say something else, but she ignored me so I figured I'd sit (she didn't say there was a wait, so I figured it would only be a short time before someone helped me). After a few minutes a guy came out of the back, spoke to the lady at the desk, walked right past me without making eye contract and sat down at the first station and started talking to the tech who was working on someone else's nails. I waited. Then he took out his phone and started texting. I waited. Finally, I said to the receptionist "Can you tell me how long of a wait it will be?" She said "No wait" and gestured toward the guy. I stood up and looked at him. He was still playing on his phone. Maybe he was texting something important - I can't tell you because he didn't speak or look at me. I looked at the receptionist - she said something to him, and he said "few minutes". I sat back down. Five minutes later he was still on his phone and/or talking to the other tech, the receptionist hadn't said anything else to me, and I left. I don't need to be treated like a queen, but some common courtesy would be nice. If there is a wait, tell your customer that at the beginning. If you have an important text to make before serving the customer, stay in the back and finish it before coming out and sitting down, ignoring your customer. If you have a language barrier, I'm totally OK with that - make eye contact, smile, and hold up your fingers telling your customer how many minutes it will be. read more
