He was upfront, honest, and transparent from the very first conversation about costs. I hate dealing with home repairs because so many companies take advantage of women, but that was not the case with Best Appliance Service. Vlad spent over an hour diagnosing the issue and could have easily pushed a costly repair. Instead, he recommended just buying a brand new washer based on what it would cost for him to fix it. He even fixed my microwave door, charged only the diagnostic fee, and followed up by sending links to washer recommendations. Finding a trustworthy business in 2026 is rare, but Vlad was honest, kind, and professional. He communicated clearly and truly went above and beyond. I will absolutely use Best Appliance Service again for any appliance repairs in the future.

Blink and you may miss it. But, if you own a vacuum or a sewing machine, this is a great business to know about. Staffed by a family of long-time sewing machine and vacuum experts, they can answer most any question that you can throw at them. They know their appliances. This kindly family is most helpful, too, giving free advice and suggestions, for instance why to stay clear of certain vacuums. Not only will they service your machines, they have a really good assortment of parts and accessories for sale, and even a couple of boxes of odds and ends of vacuum parts, should you be missing a brush or such. What they don't have in stock, they will happily order for you. Someone has made some interesting Hawaiian-type shirts available for purchase. Wonderful, old-fashioned service!

They were so timely with service and they called me within a few hours to explain exactly what was wrong. (Cat and human hair had gotten in the motor and burned it out) . I was able to pick up the next day about 24 hours after drop off. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering they replaced the motor with a used motor he had on hand--such a relief since this Miele Salsa model are now discontinued. When I picked it up, everyone was so friendly and they took the time to show me how to check the beater bar for debris so I can keep it running smoothly. It's rare these days to get such great customer service! Even though I drove 30 minutes from Chula Vista (since there aren't any vacuum repair shops nearby), it was 100% worth the trip. I'll definitely be coming back here for any future vacuum needs. They mentioned that servicing the vacuum yearly would be a good idea. Highly recommend! Thank you!

The woman on the phone asked me what kind they were, and she held while I went to look. As soon as I said the dryer was a Maytag, she just said, "We don't do those!" and then hung up on me. I realize there wasn't anything she could do since they apparently don't work with that brand, but there was no need to be rude and hang up on me.

So I figured there was some negation room as far as price, well when I started to try to negotiate Kevin wasn't interested in the least not one dollar and he seemed to be getting irritated by me offering less. Well fine my wife and I wanted the fridge so we agreed to what he was asking $1200. Well i figured since I was spending that amount of money that there would be a little flexibility as far as the delivery charge and at first there wasn't at this point I was ready to walk away from the deal but seeing that Kevin agreed to knockoff $25 and take our old fridge to our rental property. All was good and fine except on the day he delivers his helper boy called in sick and Kevin had to do everything himself and he just seemed to have an unpleasant attitude. He did everything he said he would but I just didn't get the feeling he was happy about having our business. So I would rate the last experience a two. So I sort of averaged the two and five rating and gave them a three. Conclusion: No price flexibility they do what they say they will do, although not always with a smile.

I paid him, he ordered the part to be installed 5/3/21. 5 days later the tenant using the fridge informs me it's still leaking, I call 5/12 multiple times with no answer, I email no answer. I was able to get him on the phone 5/13, and he went to check fridge for same issue 5/14. He claimed there was a piece of foam stuck in a hose causing the leak, but that he removed it and all is well now. Well the very next day, I talk to the tenant and she says the fridge is still leaking. And Juan advised her to call him if there are any issues. This bothered me, Bc the tenant is NOT the paying customer. I PAID and I am having a hard time reaching him. Long story short 6/13, I have the same Problem with the fridge. With no response from Dr Appliances. It's extremely frustrating, I am being strung along so the warranty will end up void and he won't be responsible anymore.

Our job wasn't diagnostic, we only needed fridge doors removed and reinstalled, but Juan was the consummate professional. He communicated throughout the process, cleaned the fridge doors, and was quick and efficient. I found the pricing to be more than fair. Will def call Dr. Appliances again when we need a fix or install.
