I bought a BRAND NEW washer from them. When it arrived it didn't work. I was told Appliance Factory doesn't back anything they sell. I have to go thru Maytag for service. I had service out several days later. It had TWO broken parts. I now have to wait for those parts to be ordered, installed and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't I have to wait for the next repair. Meanwhile I can't wash clothes. When I complained I was told they can't do anything to help. If I can't get it repaired they can ask Cooperate and see if MAYBE I can get a store credit to replace it. Now 2 months ago, we paid a premium for a gas stove from this Beechmont location. In this past two weeks, the installers came out to our property two times and could not be bothered to bring the right tools or the right equipment. (Basically a pipe wrench as they were to install a gas stove with new line kit) They have kept our stove in their warehouse and they refused to release it to us or deliver it and install it at this point. I have called the store, about half a dozen times and I have been directed to the warehouse . I've called the warehouse several times. They said we don't know who you are or what you're talking about. I've called back to the store and asked for a manager. They refused to put somebody on the phone and basically told me to come in and wait a few hours or F-off. I will never do business with these scammers again. I've contacted the president's customer service hotline, no response. I've spoken with 3 managers, they all brushed me off. I've spoken with their national PR lady she has not called back. They simply do not give a shit. I spent over $400 in additional service fees becasue they were too lazy and inept to do the simplest of jobs; turn off gas knob at the gas stove, un attache old stove, install new gas hose (that I was forced to pay for TWICE as they sent one without any fittings). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. You have been warned. read more

Bought a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. paid for install of all but microwave. Nothing was installed. They showed up and told me they wouldn't install the fridge, left it in the middle of my kitchen. Then they showed up, separately, with the dishwasher. Told they wouldn't install that either. I told them not to even take it off the truck. Called 3 times over 10 business days, talked to 3 different people, and one told me he was the GM, not a single one knew I was still trying to get either my money back or the dishwasher installed. Called President's line 3 times, and it only gives you a voicemail option. No response yet. Finally just asked for a refund, said I'm tired of no one knowing what's going on (10 business days later, with not a single communication for install). I am now 2 business days after them telling me I would get my $800 back. Nothing. Run, don't even bother with these guys. You'd be better off on facebook market place and doing all the moving and install yourself. I'll probably have to ask the OH attorney general's office for help to get my money returned, in the end. read more

I purchased a dishwasher and a dryer. said delivery was Monday and no one called to let me know that they weren't coming. I received a text and call that they were coming!? I had paid someone 50$ to be there to let them in. when I called they said that it didn't make it on the truck and then later in the day they said that they had tempory "lost" the dishwasher it. now delivery is Friday and I will have to pay another 50$ to someone to let them in again. the reason I'm writing this, is because they offered me nothing! not even free delivery. they DO NOT haul away your appliances either. now I have to deal with that. If I could give 0 or even negative 1, as this experience certainly justifies it. I purchased our second LG washer and dryer set on, 5/18/2021 from Appliance Factory located at : 490 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45255. During delivery, the delivery person appeared to be in a hurry and stepped off of the liftgate as it was still in the process of coming down, pulling the dryer on the dolly off approximately 1 foot from the ground, causing it to slam onto the concrete driveway. When I complained, he refused to make a note of it, refused to take it back, and told me that if I had trouble with it to call the store. Unfortunately, as I feared, the dryer is making a rubbing/grinding noise and vibrating. It sounds as if something inside is loose and slapping against the inside of the dryer cabinet and it is vibrating badly. I called the store and they told me to call LG. Really? I purchased a brand new washer and dryer set and due to the carelessness of the delivery person, it was damaged in delivery. The store expected me to file a warranty claim, which is absolutely ridiculous. I advised the store that I wanted to return it since I was well within the 14 day return policy and they refused to accept a return based on the reason that I had already told them that something was wrong with it. I strongly encourage shopping at a store that has a reputation of providing honest, ethical customer service after the sale. What makes this experience even worse, is that I am resubmitting this today, approximately 3 years later because I received an email from Yelp today that stated... "We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed the review you posted to Appliance Factory & Mattress Kingdom because it didn't look like your content depicted an experience at this location." Not really sure who is worse here? Because it didn't look like my content depicted an experience at this location? What?? How about the fact that I put in the exact street address of the store? Wow. Update - delivery of the microwave did not happen on the scheduled date. At 5:15 pm the day of the appointment I received a call from the delivery contractor stating they would not be there. Took 6 plus delivery attempts to try and get our package, stuff kept shows up damaged or wasn't right, we ended up just settling on to be done with it. Was told everything was new. Refrigerator went out after 6 months. Find out it was refurbished and not new. Their warranty company is worthless and does nothing but argue with you. It's been over 3 months now and my refrigerator still isn't working and absolutely nothing has been done to try and make it right. About 2 years ago I bought a very nice expensive top of the line washer from this company. I also bought the Service agreement from them. The experience I received inside the store was ok. Not the best but we got it done. The trouble comes after you buy a unit. This appliance store owns the service company that comes out to your house. Getting them to your house is also like pulling teeth. You get a phone from a girl named Yanni. Nasty lady on the phone. Wants to tell you how to do laundry correctly. Then states how if a technician comes out to your house you might need to pay for the service call. She also stated that not all of the washer is covered under the service agreement. Moral of the story is don't buy anything from these people and don't buy a full-service warranty that is only limited. Big question is what is under the service agreement. Water is still dripping on my hard wood floor and they don't care. read more

This company post things on craigslist that they don't even have in stock, I called them to confirm two refrigerators that they had in stock my specifications were 33 in wide and they assured me they had both in stock , a side by side for $699 and a French door refrigerator for 1099. after calling to confirm that they had both of these in stock that were listed on craigslist I drove out there to find out that they had neither one of these refrigerators and they apologized to me and said they were sorry. But you know what good is that I'm sorry you had to drive all the way out here for no reason The truth is they didn't take the time to look and see if they had them in stock because they really don't care and when you get out there and they don't have it they really don't care they just say I'm sorry and that's the end of it you just wasted all your time actually I wasted two hours of my time. read more

Purchased a washer & dryer. When they delivered, they just set it up and left. Didn't make sure it was working nor did they remove the boxes they came out of. They actually left the boxes in our driveway. Later that night we tried the washer & dryer. The dryer was so loud it would run you out of the house. The washer was fine. We called the store back and they stated they couldn't do anything or couldn't send a tech out, due to us not taking their warranty, which was $150 per appliance. Absolutely a horrible experience and we never even bought anything from them! Tried to order on line said it would be in store for P/u in Ohio next day. When I try to complete my order on line it never said when or where my order was going. So we drove up to the local store and they told me they had 1 in the WH in Cincinnati and 60+ in CO. but it was more then advertised price on line by $100 and that on line price was for Colorado only. So after a little time arguing we left. I came home and called the on line store of Cincinnati. She proceeded to tell me that they actually have none of this model in stock and it is back ordered. When I asked why could I order it on line even when you say it is out of stock. She explained that the website is not live. It is more of a flyer. I replied so you take my order and money on line with a order complete status when you actually don't even have the item in stock!? She then says...Wellllll the order actually isn't complete. We would take ALL your information and instantly reply with a email that says your order will be completed after they call and speak with me. That is when they will explain that the order that said complete on line is actually not complete but not even in stock. All this when you expect it to be in store the next day. I give them less than a 1 star rating. They are not refunding the money I paid them ($2299) for a stove that I ordered in March. They claimed it was unavailable for various reasons yet Home Depot had them. On Memorial Day I went to their store to ask for a refund and suddenly they scrambled saying they would call another store to see if they could find one, apologizing for no one following up with me. I was the one who kept checking on the status of my stove. The long haired guy at the desk said it looked like someone had gotten a delivery of the stove I was trying to buy and he would call and check on this out. I told him I had just bought the stove at Home Depot and I just wanted my money back! He said he would call LG the next day to see where the stove was and I would have to pay a restocking fee. What??? I said I should get all my money back. I am 80 and on a fixed income. I was cancelling because they couldn't deliver an order to me. He said he would check with his boss and get back to me the next day. I have yet to hear from him. Last week I sent an email asking them to contact me. I heard nothing. It looks like I now have no option but to seek legal help in getting my refund of $2299. I am sick over this. I worked hard all my life and can't believe a business like this can treat their customers so poorly. I should have read the reviews before shopping there. This company is Amazing with Amazing prices beats any other company around that has Amazing Products.I got my full refrigerator (with no freezer), which is hard to find at a low price and a full freezer in stainless steel both for sale price of $1499. I have had them for a year now with no issues.You can even buy a separate warranty from them. We have gone back to buy a combo washer and dryer that fits our needs perfectly. I purchased a washer/ dryer laundry station on 12/10/21, at that time I was told I could receive a call 15min before the delivery on 12/12/21. I received a call at 11:10 am and the driver was lost. I told him I was on my way to meet them, I work 2 miles from my home and can see the intersection from a 1/2 mile away, my apartment is just around the corner. I saw no delivery truck go by or stop at the intersection. They didn't bother to park and start unloading, I have security cameras. They didn't even come in the complex and park. They then lied to the salesman that they waited 20 minutes. It took me 6 minutes to get home. I had to plan and leave work for this delivery. Then they offer to bring it tomorrow and I cannot leave work for this again. So, the price was good but the customer service people who handle deliveries are rude, nasty and lazy. And let's not forget Liars. Don't bother buying from this company. If the lie about delivery circumstances, they are probably going to lie about other things. I GIVE THEM NO STARS! This is the absolute worst place!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! We recently purchased a bran new washer and dryer from here, upon delivery the washer was damaged the delivery guy was very nasty! When we refused to take the defective washer he told us to just have GE come out and repair it when we said no we paid for new we want new, he told us Ge was a piece of Sh@t to hook up, we told him to take them both and he told us the dryer would get damaged on the truck and it wouldn't be his problem. So when they unhooked our washer our water valves were stuck and we had to turn off our main water to get everything unhooked and rehooked now he tells us we won't have water for a week. My husband tells him that wasn't going to work and to just rehook our washer, he told us no! He said call a plumber and get valves that work..he bullied us into hooking up the dryer because it had steam feature and would solve the water issue but refused to bring our washer back in..he goes out infront of our house yelling and cussing loud enough for us to hear him inside about how it's not his problem and we have all of this on video, because we have ring doorbell! I took all of this information to the place I purchased and was told they would make it right. This was a Saturday come Tuesday we had to call back as we still had never heard from a manager. They told us the second waher was being delivered the next day, we had no idea, no phone call, no email, nothing! That day was my daughters sweet 16 so they pushed it back the following day and told us first thing in the morning..noon rolls around and nothing! We call asking where they are and are told oh sorry honest mistake it will be there tomorrow first thing! So now my husband has missed two days of work and that day comes and washer #2 comes..BROKEN, the new delivery guy calls the manager and we hear him ask if we had seen it yet! He tells us that they would have told him to lie about it. So we ask them for a refund and they took both machines, we go to the store and the manager Tim tells us" We don't do that" when we asked for something in writing showing prove of refund, he said you'll get it. So after all of this they would not apologize, wouldn't return our money (still waiting) and we had to purchase new machines somewhere else while still waiting on our money to be refunded!! They had recently been on the news talking about how they have what you need and how great their customer service is, when he refused to give us proof of refund my husband told him he would contact the news and the BBB the manager Tim said " go ahead I was just on the news they know me well !" I had my three boys with me and I was on a mission. I had a specific budget and the perfect refrigerator in mind. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely.
