The best part was that he came to my home and the price was no more (actually less) than it would have been if I had taken it to a shop. Super trust worthy stand up guy. Fast, professional, communicative service -- they were amazing. I was driving an SUV full of 4th graders back to Sacramento from a field trip to Malakoff Diggins State Park, and I blew a tire on Hwy 49. Got hooked in with Kilroy's through my USAA app, and was explaining to the kids how this was going to take like an hour or more to get a tow truck when I received a phone call that they were 5 minutes away. The gentleman whose name I am forgetting (Todd?) asked for clarification about where exactly on a side street my vehicle was, and told me he'd be there in 5 minutes and then actually was! Quick change to the spare tire, super friendly, and even recommended me a tire shop nearby, where I got it repaired quickly. I told this (probably boring story) like 6 times that day, mostly to parents whose kids I had in my care, and it made me smile every time.

First time using Affordable RV. We live just eight minutes away so it was a no-brainer choice for…read morethe 2022 camper van we have. Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash. They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work.

When I asked questions, I was brushed off instead of given real answers. If you value honesty, fair pricing, and actually getting your car fixed, take it somewhere else.
