Visited this location and wasn't expecting much! Typically apple bees is slow, over crowded, and food is plain in my area. But this location is the best I've ever dined at! It's clean inside. Service was great! The waitress had 11 of us to serve, and she did a great job! I had a Prime Rib Dip and it wasn't very good. The beef was over cooked and dry. The juice to dip was French onion soup and not the traditional au jus and I just didn't like that either. Definitely won't order that again! read more

All 2.5 stars go to our awesome waiter Dave/David. 1 star to the price point. This guy is something - the most passionate, professional, funny and entertaining guy I have ever seen. He even carries a bag with little stuff to entertain people, omg the little hands were hilarious. Checked on us multiple times, accommodated everything we needed and was extremely friendly. Price point awesome!! 35$ for two people to get FULLLLLLL. We ordered a midnight special as we came in quite late and it was one of the only options that was open so late. The drink my gf ordered was great. Virgin Strawberry nada colada is flawless. Can't complain. But the food. Mehhhh. Brownie bite was good. Honestly I cook better food at my home. Two stars only because the service was good. I ordered the all you can eat rib tips, fried shrimp and boneless wings. First plate was 3 small riblets. First was icebox cold. The other two were hot but so dry they were rough to swallow. They are 80-85% bone. Second plate was shrimp. No cocktail sauce. They ran out. Mostly dough. Crunchy but the shrimp was lost with all the dough. Wings have bones. No such thing as a boneless wing. I didn't even attempt them. Called it a night with the two plates. I was in town for a few weeks in May and there always seems to be an Applebee's in whatever area I'm in. With most places closing around 10pm in the area, this place and only a few others stay open late. With me not being free until after 9pm, this was the spot for me. The vibe is pretty mellow and chill and if you come in here regularly it gets more welcoming when the staff starts to recognize you. I never had an issue with the food and drinks I ordered. Cant go wrong with half off appetizers (boneless wings & pretzel sticks are my go to!) that I can scarf down after I'm done having my 3 or 4 drinks and calling it a night. And the service was always on point, even better after coming in frequently (I was coming in 2-3 times a week). Shout out to the bartenders and staff that took care of me there. It was a pleasure meeting Sonia, Genise, Felysha and Michael. I appreciate the warm welcoming as I got a chance to explore Visalia and Tulare for a few weeks. Came to this Applebees location on a Thursday night 02.27.25 after a ladies church service ended at the convention center around 9:30pm. The group I was with was small only 5 of us,but I saw larger groups of 10,12 and 15. Took a little bit to get our food. Liz and was so nice and quick getting our refills and once our food came. I was in town for our annual church women's conference and Applebees is really the only choice for a late night dinner. I arrived with little expectations but I was pleasantly surprised at the service and the food!!! It was wonderful! Michael, our waiter, was delightful and entertaining. He was completely accommodating and served us well. I wanted to order something with grilled chicken and he suggested the Asian salad with grilled chicken. I had the dressing on the side. It was delicious. What I loved the most was how our waiter talked about the culture and climate of his workplace. He respected and expressed gratitude about his boss, liked and appreciated his coworkers, and talked about how wonderful it was to work there. He also made us laugh with his theatre skills and talents. All that positivity made for great customer service and really good food late at night. Thank you! read more

On October 11, 2020, I took my mother, niece and sister here for a late lunch. We had a really good experience and sat on the outside patio. It's not a huge area but they did well regarding the restrictions and limitations. It was my second time eating out like this since the pandemic. We are spaced apart from others, the staff wear a mask at all times and social distancing was pretty much enforced. I like that the outside dining has umbrellas to block out some of the sun even though it was nice to have a little bit of sun shining through despite the weather/the fires not too far way. Fortunately the air quality was good that day! Our waitress Ms KIRI was great. She stated she was also a bartender and now working too as a waitress and recommended two of the Halloween drinks and they did not disappoint. The one with Patron and raspberry was absolutely delicious and the blue one on the rocks was yummy too. I'm not usually one that snacks on appetizers and then eat my meal so the two for $22 menu had some great selection and I really enjoyed my chili lime chicken with cheese and shredded chips underneath and huge side of rice entree. Me and my niece got down on that item. My moms steak was cooked to perfection and her vegetables were really good. My sister loved her juices dripping burger and even shared some of it and needless to say with the onion rings and the buffalo wings as appetizers- we were stuffed stuffed!!!! Really disappointed tonight. Came in and gave our name for the wait list. Looked around and there was at least 15 empty tables. After waiting 30 minutes I asked how much longer it was going to be and the host said everything was on hold due to a large group of twenty they had to serve. They said it was impossible to predict how long it was going to be. You would think it would have been the courteous thing to tell us that when we signed in. I can only think this restaurant is very mismanaged. Of course we left and will not be back. read more

We finally received our food at 3:38. And then we had to ask for silverware, napkins and plates. This Applebees does not have good service. I would not recommend this AppleBees. If you want AppleBees go to the Akers location, they have better service. I had to call for assistance from our server. I had called her on the pad. She walked right passed us and went to the next table. I had issued with paying. When she finally did come over. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager took care of the bill. Hadn't visited this Applebee's in quite awhile and over a year visiting one all together. Plenty of room when we walked in and seated within minutes. They took our drink order and food order right away. Ordered a few drinks from the bar and some appetizers for lunch. Food came out quickly and freshly made. It didn't disappoint and the drinks were up to par. We enjoyed ourselves much more than we thought we would and the server apologized for being short staffed even we didn't notice it at all with the speed of the our food and drinks. To preface, it has been a minute since this happened, however my visit to this establishment was horrible. Me and my mom decided to treat ourselves with a lunch out one afternoon, only to be completely ignored by all the staff for a total of 2 1/2 hours! We had to wait to be seated for 30 minutes even though the restaurant was practically abandoned, no one was there. Once seated, the waitress didn't even take our drink orders until an hour later. My mom being beyond annoyed, decided to pay for the drinks and leave with me after still not getting our food ordered an hour later. We haven't gone to this specific Applebees for years because we live out of town but we went for Mother's Day lunch and honestly we were seated right away and it was not as busy as we thought it was going to be but there were a few things that did not make our experience the best 1. Service: Our waitress was AMAZING! She was such a kind soul and it was not her fault that everything else wasn't good but she made sure we were taken care of throughout the time we were there 2. Food: We decided to get some appetizers and their dollar margaritas. The appetizers were so good! We ordered some wings and the amazing spinach dip. The margaritas were okay, they were too sweet for my liking but for a dollar I can't complain too much about it. Now the actual entrees were HORRIBLE. We decided to do the 2 for $35 so options were pretty limited, especially because they did a specific menu only for Mother's Day. We got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and it looked NOTHING like the picture! And you would think, since it had Bourbon in the name, it would have a bourbon sauce but nope it was just named after a street... It was tasteless and had no flavor. We also got the Four mac and cheese with honey tenders and long story short, the person in our party got sick later on in the day because of it. Something tasted off with the cheese and the tenders had NO FLAVOR! When it comes to the food, either stick with the appetizers or stick to the burgers, nothing else! Would we be back again? Probably not unless I just want to go for appetizers and drinks but since we live out of town, we probably won't make the drive back again.
