Very poor service. We did car side pick up. We were supposed to pick up at 4:45. We got there, pulled into proper space, and sent text we were there. No one came out, so at 5:08 I went in. Was told to go to back, when I got there my food was sitting on railing. I got "oh yeah, sorry this is your Oder." So I get my food 25 minutes after it is done and still have a 10 minute drive home. Nothing like ordering over $100 of food, just to have to put it in microwave when you get home. Big disappointment. read more

First off let me say that I'm not a fan of Applebee's. In fact this was the first time I've been in one in many years. But we had a gift card and I love to yelp so what the hell, let's check it out. The overall food in Applebee's is bland to me. They try to create unique and interesting meals but the end product just doesn't have the flavor it should. I got the pulled pork tacos and to my surprise they were pretty good. Service was really fast throughout the entire dining experience and the restaurant felt pretty clean. Based on my passed experiences I would give this Applebee's a 2 star rating. However service was great tonight, food was ok, and it was a pleasant experience. I do think for what you get Applebee's prices are high. Everything on there menu feels like it's 12-13 dollars. For the same money you can drive 2 miles to downtown Troy and get a wonderful meal at basils or Caroline. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - American Near Me - Troy, Ohio

Absolutely terrible took for ever to get our food with just a handful of people in the restaurant and they keep this place absolutely freezing in here. What a waste of money read more

When Applebee's first came to Troy, they had gyrated themselves to the top of my nicer dinning out experiences. The last two visits have guaranteed that it may be some time that I ever return. Twice now they have been out of potatoes, once out of a salad dressing, once out of a certain steak, and once out of an appetizer we selected and to top it off, no 'doggy boxes' for left overs. All that in two visits!!!! Now maybe I am wrong, but a trip to Wal-mart or Meijers to get at least the damn potatoes or dressing could have helped. To stop in for a meal and not be able to order certain 'main menu' items, that is BAD customer service! Applebee's wake up!! read more

Terribly disappointing. They had to remake all our food twice. Not a good thing when you are traveling. The waitress wasn't helpful at all.

Couldn't believe there were not more people present on a major sports night. TVs were plentiful, yet normal conversations was easy. Good service. read more

We ate at this Applebee's after church on 7/29/18, for lunch. There weren't a lot of customers yet. As we approached, there was no one that hurried to open the doors, which I find incredibly helpful because I have mobility issues & walk with the assistance of a cane & my husband. The area btwn the 2 entrance doors had a promotion with lemonade. It was messy and had debris remaining from the night before. Once inside, the two hostesses looked at us, as if we were disrupting their conversation, and one offered a hello only after I said hello to them. The mute hostess showed us to our table, dropped the menus, and walked past us to regain her place at the hostess stand. The only highlight of our visit was our waitress, Portia, who was friendly, attentive, & professional!! The food was average. As we left, the hostess duo didn't even acknowledge us, as they were too deep in conversation. We opened our own doors, past the mess still in the lobby area, and left. read more

Food is good....service, terrible. Had a group of 7. Although hit it at a less busy time of day, still had 10-15 min. wait for table. Ok....after order taken, waited another 25 min. for food. Nothing fancy or out of ordinary ordered. Did not get side salad ahead of meal. At first waitstaff kind of ignored how long it was taking....finally said it would be ready shortly. Manager came over a bit later to check after we got food. Kindly let her know this was our big meal of the day and were on a tight schedule at this point. Initially offered to take side salad off price(after we refused it) and offered free desert(which we did not have time to eat). In end gave us meal free. Employees need lesson in urgency of service/management lesson in kitchen staff scheduling perhaps? Friendly and apologetic otherwise. read more

Will never go back due to the simple fact that Applebees considers Yuengling an important. Yuengling is a domestic. The definition of domestic: existing or occurring inside a particular country; not foreign or international. I went for the happy hour half off domestic beers until 6pm on a week night. The menu says all domestic beers. It does not specify THEIR definition of domestic. Never again. read more

Our burgers were burnt and so was the buns we were trying to eat what they served us as we saw a bedbug crawl across the table. Asked for a manager and he said there's not much he can tell us that they have someone exterminate the place all the time. He gave us our bill and we left. read more

I came in with a late-night group of 14 people last night (including "rock star VIPs"). The staff took care of our needs quickly and efficiently. They were all true professionals, and we all had fun too. Our waitress was Kari, and we kept her hopping - she didn't miss a beat - even with multiple orders/tabs. Matt was our bartender, and he was on top of everything. Amanda was the night manager last night, and she definitely went out of her way to make sure that we were taken care of. Food was awesome, and served promptly. Multiple drink orders were filled quickly. Two thumbs up !!! read more

Went on this Saturday morning. There were a good 4 booths open and they wouldn't sit us. Said it would be 10 to 15 minutes. We asked why we couldn't sit in the clean booth to the left of us. They said well it'll take a little while to get to you but I guess you can sit down. Ordered a medium well steak with fries and mashed potatoes. Steak was way over cooked. Couldn't even swallow it without ketchup (ketchup on steak I know right?) Fries were burnt to a crisp. Service was terrible. They definitely do not know how to deal with a crowd. read more

Disgusting. From the beginning. The table was sticky, the menus had stuff spilled in them, and there were little crusty food bits dried on. Ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp. My shrimp was so overcomes that they were like clear odd shaped bouncy balls, chicken was just barely cooked through. My daughter ordered the 4 cheese mac & cheese and half of the pasta was hard, the whole plate looked waxy and dry. We asked for more cheese and it took forever. Keep in mind that this was in the evening on a Sunday a couple hours before closing. Hubby order the larger size steak, still got the smaller. He also ordered fries and they burnt them so they just put mashed potatoes on his plate instead? We didn't hardly see our waitress but that might have been because she was off doing the others jobs since there was several of the employees hanging around the bar chatting, checking phones......Once we finally got our check no one came back to collect so eventually we went to find someone. Amazingly there was a manager there, she came out and asked how everything was. My hubby being the nice guy looked at her dumbfounded for a moment and finally said OK. She looked at him like she had been offended, gave him change and walked off. I guess we should've listened to our daughter, she had been there the week before with some friends and was telling us how awful it was. Safe to say that we will NOT be returning here again. read more

Came at 2 in the afternoon. We got our food at 3. Food was good. Service was slooooooooooow! 80% of the tables were empty. There was no reason for it. Only reason they got 2 stars was the food was good and I was not in a big hurry. read more

We visited Applebee's tonight in Troy and couldn't have been more disappointed. While our appetizer arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was tasty, we waited nearly an hour and a half for the main courses to be served. When they did arrive, it appeared (and tasted) like they had been cooked much earlier, sat around for awhile and were reheated at the last minute. In going to Applebee's, I'm not necessarily expecting top notch cuisine, but I can't remember the last time I had anything so bad. I will never go to Applebee's again. read more

Mediocre taste at a mid-class restaurant. Family of 3 with a one year-old.Specifically, on Saturday March 7th during their dinner rush, we placed a carry-out order at approximately 6:45 via telephone and they told us it would be ready around 7. We arrived approximately 7:05 with the anticipation that our food would be close to ready. After waiting, (standing at the bar for 45 minutes, I was not offered any thing to drink nor reassurance my food would be delivered) they finally delivered the food we ordered COLD. What really made me mad was the fact that one of the managers walked by me several times and was afraid to make eye contact and or offer any amount of hospitality. read more
