Received a cheesesteak sub with onion skin all over it and husband bit in, was grossed out, politely asked for a refund as he didn't want another one. Manager came out said GM said no refund. I said do you guys not do refunds? He said we do, he just said no to giving you one. So i get the Gm on the phone and he told me to "pick it off" or take a store credit. Hung up and left the store. This isn't about the workers (other than learn to peel an onion) this is mainly about the rude ass general manager. read more

This business was depressing. It was our first time trying the englewood location. Beginning with the cashier who had no life or expression. Waited 20 minutes for our order of 2 pair combos. Ordered 2 soups and was handed 2 forks to attempt to eat soup with. Out of ice. Out of napkins. Out of banana peppers. Worst firehouse sub experience. I would rather drive 10 minutes to the one in Huber than come here again. read more

I love Firehouse Subs but the Englewood, OH location is trash. The last 3 times I've ordered from them has been a nightmare. Twice they got the order wrong and all 3 times I ordered my fave (BBQ Beef and Cheddar Brisket) they didn't put BBQ sauce on it. Seriously it's in the name of the sammich. Lol. It's a good sub spot. I would say it's not amazing, but it's not bad by any means. I feel like their subs could maybe taste fresher. The ingredient combo that they have is really good. My personal choices are usually the firehouse hero, the hook and ladder or the Italian. The one thing I think a lot of these sub places could do to really stand out is get creative and add better sides. They really just do the basic thing and give you some mini chip bags and brownie or cookie that they over charge you for, but its what everyone else does so. This one is a nice spot. The workers a nice and I personally haven't had any trouble with how fast they are but they are for sure not even close to jimmy John's level at all. The lobby is a good and it's a corner building so the side windows add more light in there. It's also a pretty clean place in my opinion. Mid tier sub spot, not my favorite not the worst. read more

Firehouse Subs prepares the most awesome sub sandwiches. Like other submarine restrauants, they make the sandwiches upon your order with fresh ingredients. Firehouse Subs offers 10 different sandwiches from menu as well as custom order. Other menu items are fresh salad, fresh soup ( Chicken Noodle, Broccoli Cheese)and chili. All tasty! I ordered a medium length New York Steamer ( corned beef brisket, pastrami, provolone, deli mustard, mayo, Italian dressing) sub on wheat and like all of their subs -- toasted. This was a take away order and when I arrived home it was delicous. read more

While the food tasted ok, it was cold and I had requested and paid for some extras that I did not receive. (Carmelized onions and onions and extra cheese for my chili) . I ordered online for rapid pickup at 6:30. Waited in store for over 15 minutes and finally asked if they got the order and she brought it out. Thats why it was cold - they didnt put it on the to go rack. If you order, when u pick up, ask for your order from the counter people. read more

Consistently disappointed. If there were another firehouse close to our house we would definitely go there. The Englewood store as usual did not get our order correct. Order on the firehouse app... Two chicken salads and two large subs. Salad one, was ordered with cheese, cucumber and no tomato. They reversed it. The salad had no cheese and chopped tomatoes. Salad two, was ordered with cheese, cucumber and tomato. Was made with no cheese. Sub one was actually made correctly. Sub two was ordered with no cheese, no peppers. Suppose to have olives, pickles and mayo. When opened at home it had sauteed peppers - yuck. No olives, no pickles. This store constantly gets our orders wrong. As mentioned earlier, if another store were less than an hour away we would definitely go there instead. Staff are friendly but friendly doesn't cut it when you spend $63.00 and only one out of four orders is made correctly. read more

Every time I come in person or order online/through door dash they constantly forget the side pickles and sometimes they aren't as friendly as they used to be. Hopefully service improved because I have chosen another location to go to until this is corrected by corporate. read more

Typically have a good experience here. My girlfriend and I both go subs. I got the Italian hero (turned out great) she got the firehouse steak and cheese. It was more like a firehouse steak with no cheese. If cheese is in the name it should have some cheese in the sandwich... read more

Tried for the first time late last year and have ordered a few times since then. I like the subs.

We got a to go order and we asked to get all the philly cheese steak toppings on the side so the bun doesn't get soggy on the way home. They were a little confused at first, but very understanding. They were very polite about it. We had to wait awhile, but this place is always a little slow. The place was very clean. When we got our order the worker said she gave us an extra sauce to try and was very nice. read more

Well the bread gets soggy really quick wish they would crust the bread, also needing to make the food hot they had it barely warm. Other then that the food is good but they can always improve. read more

on May 10, 2023 we placed an online order with fire house subs in Englewood, Oh . . When we arrived at the store, we were informed they were closed due to staffing issues. We had already paid for our order and were not aware the store was not open until we arrived. The employee there , said they would give us a replacement meal for our inconvenience. We placed an order at Penn station and went home. The next day I called the store to verify they were open and to see about getting a replacement order . I also asked about the charge on our credit card since it was still showing pending , they told me if it didn't drop off I could come in with a receipt and receive a refund. Later , that day I called to verify they were open and picked up our meal. On Friday the charge went through on our credit card, so no longer is this a free meal, it's the meal we paid for and went to pick up not once but twice since they were closed. So, I went on Saturday morning to see about getting a refund. Marissa the shift leader said that I could receive a refund, then she asked if I had the card that the order was placed on. I told her , no I did not my husband had it at work. She told me the only way I could get a refund was to have the card. I told her with all I've gone through already I know exceptions can be made, and she said no they can't . I said, so I have to make a fourth trip now, and she begins to laugh at me. And I said, you think that's funny, and she said yes. Then I said what's funny about it, and she just laughed some more. Then she tells me that I'm just smiling. I'm not laughing at . So I asked her again, I have to make a fourth trip, and she starts laughing again yes you will. So you find humor in that , she shakes her head and says yes . Next , her coworker tells me have a nice day, to which, I replied, you guys are making sure I don't. He tells me , I really don't care, and walks into the kitchen . I asked Marissa for his name , to which she replied , because of privacy issues , she could not tell me his name. You would think after the first inconvenience, making me come back for my meal and then coming back again for a refund that they could've just given it to me, I know exceptions can be made. Instead, I get laughed at , and the other employee thanks it's funny to make a smart comment . If I would have been rude , as some people were Wednesday night , I could see rude treatment in return . But when you are polite and the one who has been done wrong repeatedly , I don't understand how this company believes this is how the customer should be treated . I realize it can be hard to get people to work, but when you have employees who laugh at customers and make smart comments with no regard to the customer. Maybe they aren't kind of employees that are needed. Needless , to say , we won't return . read more

I had the Steak and Cheese, very little cheese even though I paid for extra cheese, no biggie the sub was still good not anything special but good. However my nephew had ordered his sub without sauces, I am sure he also said no mayo since he hates mayo, dressing etc on his subs. When he got home and handed out the orders found that his sub was drenched in mayo and when he called the person at Firehouse Subs denied that they had done anything wrong. He ended up going to Subway since Firehouse Subs didn't want to make it right. A third person had a sub that they did enjoy but did not make any special requests. read more

Good subs and salads. Never have got a bad sandwich. I have tired a lot of different ones and all have been good. Service is good and polite. Reasonably priced. Go there often. Restaurant donates to help the community. read more
